Sorry, Emms :blush

CesBoss, I'm not ambitious, I'm just realistic :smug and I'm not pouty! I'd just knackered my knee when that photo was taken, I had every reason to pout! :paranoid

Thianne, sì ho capito, e non posso darti torto ;-) però la mia lunga permanenza su questo forum mi ha insegnato che qui la maggioranza dei postanti sono di genere femminile ;-) un bacio!

Ooh, I love it! I especially like the effect of the "graying out" (with checkers) of the Willow on the right and the couple on the left. And the scrolly border - the way the border hugs all the images in a curvacious way makes me think of memories and nostalgia. Fan-tastic, Auburn.

Hiya Miss “Gem” Maniac

Ooh you’ve made a really wonderful wallpaper, especially the combination of black and white and colour works very well. Love the pictures, font and the brush effects too .

Very well done

Yep I see Val but as you know I kinda have a weird screen resolution too, 1280x1024 and I don’t even resize my wallpapers to fit the screen . I'm used to them being out of proportion .

Gemma - That is such a gorgeous wp. I love the texture on the pic of W/T from Real Me. And I really like the "you can take the girls..." quote under the title. Great job.

More replies.

Emms - Smokin' is what I was shooting for. Thank you!

Sandman78 - Hot/horny Tara is pretty wonderful. Thanks!

Thanks, watty!

Am I late? Auburn, loving the new update! I adore the fic that this is dedicated to and it’s good to see brought to like so to speak with this wallpaper. I just think it looks plain cool, I love the dark colors, the pictures, I like the sparkly star effects, and the swirly border effect. Oh and I LOVE the main picture towards the left, I had that as my icon for quite awhile. Looking real good, you did a fantastic job. :peace

I love, love, love that wallpaper. I mean it just shows so much about how innocent and loving and trusting they were in that episode (my favorite episode most days). And actually, seeing that wallpaper made me go back and read a few updates of that story.

Also... Yay, I think I'm next!

I very rarely change my wallpaper, and it's usually some photo that I took myself. I just changed it on my 1440x900 non-weird (so there, Boss Maniac :P) macbook to this. It's an unusual wallpaper, it's not like many wallpapers I've seen, but I don't mean it in a bad way. It's more modern and avant-garde, almost like a cover of a CD of Britpop / New Wave Band; or a coffee table book you get from the Museum of Modern Art bookstore ... does this make sense?

What I'm trying to say is, there's something quietly intelligent about Cyd's work, and there's the same sense of understated brilliance about this wallpaper that really appeals to me. :clap

Really nice composition, with all the images creating a multiple-viewpoint 'sense' of the moment of the spell. Kind of like what they tried to do in the Hulk movie, with the split-screening, only that didn't work so well a lot of the time... this does, really well.

Also, Tara's hair looks so silky in the top-right image :x

Hey Angie :) you know, I think that often the colour white isn't treated as a colour at all, it's mostly underused... you on the other hand treated it as such, using it to encase the pics of our girls doing (*ahem*) spells and keeping the focus on them. Great job! :clap

I love it! I really like the use of white space in this one, it really sets off the pictures and the way the eye flows from text to pictures, left to right, top to bottom. Very elegant and its lack of crowded-ness speaks volumes. So great.

I have to agree with Sally. I really like the white background also and the way each picture sort of flows into the next. love it.

I don't think it's any secret that if I had a chance I'd keep Hermitfish locked in a room somewhere with nothing but some bottled water and Microsoft Word (oops did that come off sounding...insane? :eyebrow ) :lol but since that is not an option I'll just have to replace that want with other hermitfish centered themes...see where I'm going with this?

Briliant wallpaper!!! It's going to be a hard time trying to pry this one off my desktop...but I'm sure whatever "ya'll" *cough, cough*, come up with next will have me thinking twice about that stance (as firm as I am on it :lol )

Hello fellow maniac :wave Ah yes, lots of spells :blush although I haven't read this story either. I'm a bad kitten! :ashamed.

It isn't a complicated design and desplays the screen caps perfectly. I'm sure it does absolute justice to it's story. Well done, Angie. :grin

tarebear - Hey, Ces. Glad you like the changes. And I'm glad that when I suddenly posted the completely changed wallpaper you were totally cool about it.

Rosey - I did like the pink, too, but ultimately I decided I wanted to go with something a bit simpler. Thank you, Rosey.

Sandman78 - Yeah, the flaming O in Who Are You is my pick for sexiest scene in the series, definitely. And I hope you enjoy Relinquished Symmetry, it's a great story.

Thianne - Those two spells are very important to the plot of Relinquished Symmetry, so I'm glad you think I captured the moments. And btw, nice Anya impression. :)

Willow Watcher - Gotta love the spells. And the "spells." Thanks!

Henny - I was going for dreamlike/memory quality because those two spells happened in the past before the fic begins. Thanks.

JustSkipIt - Thank you, Debra. And hmm...you think you're next, huh? Now what makes y'all think that?

Guppy - I wanted simple, so that's nice to hear. Thank you, Guppy.

watty - Thank you for the lovely praise, watty. I'm really happy you like the wp.

Chris - Yeah, Tara is so pretty in that scene. Glad to know you like the layout. Thanks.

Spighy - Hey fellow Maniac! Thank you. Glad to hear you like the white background.

SJ - Thank you!

SallyMcFine - Thank you, Sally. I had the background pink at first, but I felt that it overwhelmed the pics, so I changed it to white. Good to know it worked for you.

Emms -

Hee! And yes. It sounds insane. Thanks, Emms.
