Hello sweet kittens

Okay, so, as it turns out, I have taken a few photos using my dad's camera (I really need to get one of my own at some point), which, I would very much like to share with my lovely kitten family.

Okay, these first two are, rather predictably, of some duckies. These duckies were wandering around in the little picnic area of a farm, (Crookley Farm), which we took my nieces to a few years ago.





Aren't they cute?

I'll try to find some more pics at some point, & I'll try to take control of my dad's camera, at some point, to take more pictures that I can share too.

I like ducklings; the fuzziness always makes me want to pick them up and snuggle them, but I suspect I may get pooped on if I tried it....

Why am I not surprise that you've photographed ducks? They are very good pics and I'm glad you started a thread as well. Holy sheep, I've started a trend.

Oooo Jea! You started a thread! and with ducks too!! I really love your photos, sweetie. Peking ducks, right? Those are my favorite kind of ducks...they are always the ducks that will come right up to you at the pond (but only if you have bread to feed them)

I'm so glad that everyone likes my little photos.

Candleshoe: Baby ducks are extremely cute, & very soft to cuddle.

tarebear: duck pictures are always cute I'm glad I started my own photo thread too, I just hope I can find enough photos to post in it.

I'm trying to find some more photos, so hopefully I'll have a few more to share soon.
I keep trying to take a pic of my cat too, but everytime I sit on the floor to take one, he comes over to me to be stroked, so, that's proving rather difficult.

I found some more photos.
These were taken at the ExCel Centre in London, when I went down there last year for London Expo (& met beautiful, luscious Amber ).


This is the view across the Thames


I'm not sure what the smudge on this one is, I assume there was a mark on the camera lens, which is a shame 'cos if not for the smudge, it'd be a really nice picture. (Well, I think so anyway)



This is the actual ExCel centre



That, little white thing in the distance, is the millennium dome.



& I'm told, that this beautiful boat is a restaurant.

Those are some really great photos, Jea. My favorite is view across the Thames I love that shot. The view of the houses across the water is just...mesmerizing.

Oh and the picture with a smudge on it...what if it's not a smudge at all...! what if it's a ghosty.....

i like the view from the thames as well! i like how you were able to capture the calmness of the water against the seemingly quiet buildings in the distance.

Those are some great pictures. I liked the picture of the two ducks sitting and the one of the trees, with the cranes in the background. It's a shame about the smudge in that picture though it might be possible to remove it digitally.

Having never been to London, I have to say that I thought the Thames would be wider? And is the boat something like a river dinner cruise type thing?

Hmm...and a bit of ectoplasm on the tree photo.

It's a shame about the smudge in that picture though it might be possible to remove it digitally.

Well see, you're assuming that I would actually know how to do that, but sadly, I ain't that good.
DelWhicker: The green splotch on the ducks butt, is so that the farmer knows that that's one of his ducks (it's like the little marks they put on sheep). & I believe that that is one of the narrow perts of the Thames, but, I'm not a Londoner so, I don't know.

something like that, minus the 'cruise' part though, 'cos it doesn't go anywhere.

Okay, now, I finally managed to get my cat to stay put long enough to get a picture of him. It's not great, 'cos I took it with my phone & he was out in the garden so the lighting's not so good, but, here he is anyway.

Emms: He's called Tabitha (unofficially). Okay so it's really Tabby, but, when he was a kitten & used to get into trouble, it was lengthened to Tabitha, which has kind of stuck now.
