Right from the first paragraph, you've painted a portrait of a landscape indelibly caught up in Autumn. (that's right, I said Autumn! None of this fall rubbish for us Aussies!
) The kid's adventures with the leaves sounds just right, though I throughly hope they were going to jump in those piles as soon as they were finished. It just wouldn't be right otherwise! 
Ginny sounds like a good friend; if for no other reason than she knows how to push Tara's buttons. It's usually the people that know us best that find it the easiest to aggravate us, don't you find? Of course, they both pushed things a bit too hard, and nearly ended up jumping down each others throats, but hey, at least they care, right?
I did get a bit confused by the Kelly reference at first. I thought she might have been someone Tara was involved with, that ended badly, rather than having been Logan's bit on the side. Guess I'm feeling a bit slow, but I did figure it out eventually.
And Willow is also meeting someone named Kelly?
A co-inky-dink perhaps? The evil, plotting little bastard in me says: hell no! I'm afraid Sally may have hit the nail on the head, in that Logan may be trying to use Kelly to get in between Willow and Tara, out of nothing more than a feeling of petty spite. But I could be wrong. No, don't gasp, it has happened before.
Logan's stunt with the tuition ... what the effin' hell is her problem! This is your kid's future! I don't care how pissed off you are with your ex, you don't put the kids in the middle if you're any kind of decent human being!
The in-bed chat was lovely and sweet, as is to be expected. I mean c'mon, put Willow, Tara and Emms together, you're bound to get something delightfully sweet!
And huzzah to joint camping! But isn't Willow's trip to Japan coming up soon?
