things that are crummy at the moment:

1. i miss my friends, apartment, life in massachusetts.

2. i am almost out of money and need to find a job.

3. my mom's house is more of a mess than i expected and i will be spending most of the forseeable future shampooing carpets, cleaning and painting.

4. my cats were totally traumatized by the trip and are still acting like weirdos and i feel awful about it.

5. i'm having weird ex-girlfriend issues on multiple counts.

6. i went to the local gay club i used to go to back in the day and the pickings are SLIM... my taste in women has definitely changed over the past five years.

7. in the past week i've been reminded of almos every single thing about southern california that caused me to move 3k miles away in the first place.

8. i'm lonely.

Things I've done today(in no order):

Sleep in
Watch TV
Be lazy and nap.
*cough* Celebrate the kids being at their fathers.
Watch Rachel make hamburger/pesto cheese quesadillas
Watch the new Amber Benson Christmas movie: Holiday Wishes.
Take nap.
*cough* Celebrate being the only two people in the house.
Take nap while Rachel was on the computer.
Wake up and get on computer myself.
Download music from Steven.
Talk to Steven about when he was coming here.
Play pinball.
Watch 10 minutes of An Inconvienent Truth.
Eat chocolate cheesecake.
Get back on computer when I found An Inconvienent Truth boring.

Plans for the rest of the evening:

Stay on computer until boring movie finishes.
Watch V for Vendetta
Watch Take The Lead
*cough* Celebrate the Holiday and everyone being away #3.
Go to sleep.

I've just decided how I'm going to spend my summer vacation this year.

~read the 6th (and 7th?) Harry Potter books
~read at least The Golden Compass (if not the other two in the series)
~watch all five seasons of Queer as Folk, so I haven't just seen the first ten episodes each five times

That, and the stuff I already knew:

~road trip with family to Vermont, New York, and Maine
~try to get a job
~get wisdom teeth out
~actually visit my friends from college once in a while
