I, uh...really hope it's Tara. ;)

But Tara really needs to let up. Even Anya is pointing it out to her - and she put it really succintly, as Anya often does. :P

Very nice, more soon, please!

Willow is a lot better than I am because I would have left after 30 minutes.

I agree Tara is a little hard on Willow. Willow is just afraid she isn't good enough for Tara.
Tara: Willow, I got so lost.

Hee, Willow's so unintentionally melodramatic ;-)

The interaction between Anya and Tara is interesting, because I can see both their points. Tara's smart to be sceptical now, especially if she's been hurt like this before - it's fine to say one should approach a new situation 'fresh' but it doesn't work like that, and having been hurt once, if it happened again it'd hurt her even more, so she has good reason to be cautious. But Anya's right too, caution doesn't equal isolation - and I think the Willow/Tara dialogue showed that at least some of Tara's concerns are misplaced. She was worried that Willow was ashamed of her, when in fact Willow was ashamed of herself. Have to wonder how Tara could think anyone would be ashamed of her... but perhaps the painful memories of her prior bad experiences still lurk, and even though day-to-day she's got the confidence to keep herself together, the suggestion that she's not good enough is still very hurtful to her because part of her is irrationally worried that it might be true. Wow, I'm rambling.

I think what Tara needs is to see the chat transcripts of Willow and her online friends - that'll dispel any notion that Willow's ashamed of her, given that she evidently hasn't shut up about her in ages :lol

And good on Willow for getting her head together - taking that small, rational step of asking Tara not to shut her out completely was very mature of her, and shows that there's a lot more to her than her excitable spazzy side.

I'm sorry I haven't left feedback for every chapter, but for now, let me just say that I love this story :x

The conversation in the hospital was so well written I could see it in my head. Not that it isn't all well written, but that exchange hit home for me.

And although my track record on guessing stuff is rubbish, I'm going to put an outside bet on it being Anya at the door, coming to put Willow in the picture about Tara's perpetual mooning, and to not-so-gently threaten Willow never to do anything daft again. Let the pointing and giggling at Shoe's daft imagination begin.... :blush

Watty, watty, watty --

Yay!

So, Tara isn't ready for this to change things, but she not only took Willow to the hospital but stayed with her... just sayin'.

I was also pleased to see Willow's change in this chapter. It seemed dramatic to me -- she was *gasp* mature! I think she finally understood that it wasn't about her geekiness -- and when she did, and Tara was still upset Willow (I think) was able to acknowledge that in a mature manner and maybe was able to see that Tara's fear around trust wasn't just about Willow being 'bad' or 'beneath' her. In fact, I am pretty sure that the trust thing would have come up no matter what, since Tara has such an issue with it. Well, good. Willow doesn't have to change who she is, she just has to be trust worthy... and Tara needs to learn to trust. They both have things to teach eachother! Yay!

...and how sweet and good was it that Willow insisted on getting Xander to drive her home. Tara was treading on a line there -- asking for space but clearly wanting to help; to be there with Willow. Willow took what Tara had to say seriously, and I think that Tara needed to see Willow's resolve -- both in terms of tenacity (the fountain fiasco) and in terms of taking Tara seriously. Also, I think that it may have stung Tara to see Willow turn to someone else for support. Well, good. Yay for Willow.

... and who is at the door? ok, I'd love it to be Tara; I so so want it to be Tara -- 'cause Willow really needs to let Tara make the next move. But somehow I don't think it is (but feel free to prove me wrong). So who is it? Maybe Faith? I mean, Faith *so* needs to come out as her on-line buddy and also I am hoping that she will or wants to help Willow with this whole debacle/situation.

More please?

Good point, db. The more I think about this, the more I suspect it's not Tara at the door (as much as that would make this kitten happy). Yep, I think I'll join the Faith camp on this one. Time for her to let Willow know that she's a member of her online support group....which screen name is hers?....Wish I had time to reread all the chat sections to figure it out, but alas, I must return to work today. Sigh....

Don't keep us waiting TOO long, okay Watty?

I'm totally thinking that Faith is indeed a member of Willow's online chat group and I've thought so for quite some time. At first I wondered if she was just stalking her new boss but I'm pretty sure she's someone. Maybe harley? Harley seems pretty straightforward and outspoken, much the way I think Faith is.

And who indeed is at the door? You've surprised us all before with the little twists and turns and so while it could be Faith at the door, it might also be Donnie or Tara or Anya or possibly anyone! Speaking of Donnie, it seems like he and Faith have something going on, and Anya is in the dark, perhaps. I still suspect Anya of dating Xander on the sly or I think that might happen, anyway, since it would make all of the geek/sophisticated gal thing more palatable. Although that would leave Andrew for Cordy and I don't see that happening. :lol

I was very proud of Willow for going to the fountain and staying there even when it became clear that Tara wasn't going to show up, or at least not on time. But I was even prouder of her when she said to Tara in the hospital the part about how she hoped Tara could forgive her. In that sort of situation it's very easy to wallow in self-pity and play the martyr, but she didn't do it and that shows real progress.

I wonder where Tara's extreme dislike of lying comes from. Not that I wouldn't be uber-pissed if someone lied like that to me to get out of going to a play with me, I totally would. But for Tara it seems more about the lie than about the disrespect such a thing implies. Also, I thought it was interesting that Tara said she was also hurt by what Willow did because it made her feel like Willow was ashamed of her, when really Willow was ashamed of herself. Most interesting also because Willow didn't tell Tara that part.

Great stuff, watty, keep it coming!

Alright watty my dear that was one big long dip of a drop your rollercoaster of a fic took me on. I was like "OHSHIT! Is that a... oh hell no where is the bar to hold? Ohmygod it looks( Breathing heavily ) really steep." I grab hold of something...anything and as I read willow standing in the rain and getting more cold by the second. As she blacks out I scream again coz there is yet another drop in the ride.I scream as I drop AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WATTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYY HELP ME!
As the ride propells upward I am in a state of shock. "Watty? WATTY HOW CAN YOU KEEP DOING THIS TO ME?!" I yell as again the ride drops. Im loking around for help but I seem to be the only one in the front of this crazy scary ride. It just doesnt stop. And whats worse is I cant see the all the zips and zags that are coming and cant get off this damn ride.
Oh watty your are such a bad author to continuely toture me this way. I must be a glutton for your special brand of pain. I mean I got on the ride with no one pushing me to read your fic. So in a way I have only myself to blame. And I gotta tell you this sucks having only me to blame. So my hands are sweating, my heart is racing, my head booming with who could be at willows door.

Well, it's only a tiny cliffhanger. :lol at unconscious Willow and dripping Willow -- I never meant to put our poor redhead through this much! Oh wait, I did. It's her price to pay for the happy ever after, really. I agree that losing Tara and the big lesson learnt with the rain/hospital experience must have knocked some much needed sense into Willow.

Tara is being quite stubborn. She too needs to get over her extreme hang up about lying. I think Anya's point that not every lie is a betrayal needs to be hammered into Tara.

I think you'll like the next update. Thanks, Michelle. :)

~~~~~
Alex
I hope that now that we've finished with all the drama
Pretty much, yeah. Though knowing me, I may say one thing and then slip in some angst. >:) Wait, I won't do that. Will I? I'll say this -- things are beginning to come together, and if Willow's knock on the head and Anya's rather harsh words to Tara don't do it, then what else? Thanks for hanging in there.
~~~~~

Debra

Hope you're not feeling too down about your finger, it's really so sucky! Please don't worry about feedback, I know you're keeping track. :P Over on the Dani thread you mentioned Survivor and man, we're so far behind! The episode from a couple of weeks ago got pre-empted, and we've only just gotten to the clip show. I have to be very careful when I go to TWoP, sigh.

Willow standing at the fountain for a couple of hours and getting drenched is a tad stalkerish. It's definitely insecurity mixed with not knowing what to do too. I know this sounds perverse but I'm glad you're getting irritated with Tara. Enough about the neurosis about people lying already! She's getting too extreme, and using this as an excuse not to straighten things out with Willow. I tried to make Anya's words harsher than needed because she needed to be jolted.

Who's at the door? Update is next. :)

highlandlass25

Heehee the sexy innuendo wasn't intended. Willow literally was in the shower and was interrupted. But I'm glad you got images. :wink

Yep, everyone agrees that Tara needs to get over her mental block. Glad you liked how Anya is unceremoniously pushing her.

peggy of sunnydale

Who's at the door? Teehee, I actually didn't think it'd be such a big cliffhanger. yay, me! Yes Faith was "darkslayer" in the chatroom, but the chat group's influence is great and wide, they've even mellowed her out. Update next.

Willow is a lot better than I am because I would have left after 30 minutes.

Sometimes in these situations you just stand there and your feet seem to be buried in concrete. "Just one more minute, one more" becomes your mantra. I'm glad you feel the same way as most readers, Tara is being hard on Willow and needs to lighten up.

~~~~~
witchlove
Fan of cliff hangers I see.
Oh absolutely! >:) Update next.
~~~~~

Chris

One of the reasons I like writing the Buffyverse is the availability of so many diverse side characters and Anya, for one, has always been a great foil for Tara. I do mean what she says to Tara, that not every lie is a betrayal. Tara needs to get over that, otherwise she'll suffer a lot more disappointments in life.

She was worried that Willow was ashamed of her, when in fact Willow was ashamed of herself.

Absolutely. Talk about misplaced insecurities. It's not that they don't talk, it's just that they've got so many preconceptions about themselves and the other that they seem to be hearing just what they want to hear. Tara will find the chat transcripts interesting for certain, as long as she gets over the fact that Willow has been talking about her this openly to a group of strangers. But then that's the nature of online friends, isn't it? Somehow being one level removed (no face to face interaction) makes us more open, not less. May be that's my own experience, I dunno,

There is a small shift in the balance of their relationship. Willow is marginally the more mature one now. May be standing in the freezing rain and getting a bump on the head has this efffect? :P Thanks as always for your support.

~~~~~
Shoe
Thank you for saying the hospital conversation sounds real. Phew! I find it easier to write dialogue than wordy descriptions, guess it's individual style. :)
although my track record on guessing stuff is rubbish, I'm going to put an outside bet on it being Anya at the door
The answer will be revealed very soon, update next. Um, if it matters to you, whether your guesses are right or not, you may want to reach for some chocolate. But let me remind you, that you're never daft, okay? :P
~~~~~

spikewetnose

i second it being Anya at the door. she left right around the time Willow was in the shower.

good guess. Thanks!

~~~~~
db
Oh yes, Tara is conflicted alright. She needs some soul searching, methinks. And Willow being all mature, may be their personalities got switched? Heehee. You're right though, it's finally clicked in Willow's head that geek <> bad and good depends on mutual trust. Now the questions is, how long till Tara gets to grip with that thought?
Willow doesn't have to change who she is, she just has to be trust worthy... and Tara needs to learn to trust.
*nods* exactly! Thank you for putting it so simply.
Who is at the door? I'm pleasantly surprised at how this has become a discussion topic. I think it's kinda obvious, then again I know what's coming next. More importantly, I know how many more chapters there are. :P I haven't specified how much time has passed between the scenes, so it could be anyone. Heck, I'm creating unnecessary tension here ... read on, it'll be revealed next.
~~~~~

mole 2

Nice to see the discussion, the identity of the person at the door will be revealed very soon. The readers are supposed to know that "darkslayer" in the chat group is indeed Faith, but I won't delve too much into that story thread, interesting though it may be.

~~~~~
Sally
Oh yes definitely. Faith is the newcomer "darkslayer" who seems to be more of a lurker than chatter. :lol that you think she may be "harley" I think the real Harley will get a kick out of that.
Who's at the door? Teehee. I love the guesses. It could be anyone! There is definitely something going on between Donnie, Faith and Anya, but it's a side story that I won't have the opportunity to explore. Better that it's there in the background, no? :P omg Andrew & Cordy, that is a match made in hell, if you asked me.
I've been pretty tough on Willow so far, making her be the one with the lies and having to suffer. She's way due a break, and the rain and headwound episode is a sort of lightbulb moment for her. She gets to be mature, for a change. Now it's Tara's turn to put her dislike of lying into perspective. Life isn't black and white, Tara, she must learn to accept more grey areas. Thanks, Sallypants.
~~~~~

willohand

Was it that bad? Awww, c'mon, it's only a little tiny bit angsty. Anyway it'll be resolved soon. :)

~~~~~
witchlove 2
We'll see soon who is at the door. Thanks.
Part 20
"Tara?" Willow was staring at the person at her door with disbelief and astonishment.
"I really should have called first, I'm so sorry," Tara apologized.
From somewhere, Willow found her composure. "Where are my manners? Come in." She stepped aside and let Tara in.
"Did I interrupt you?" Tara finally noticed Willow's wet hair, the robe and how she seemed to be still dripping. Not unlike Tuesday night at the fountainside, she thought wryly.
"Oh, I was in the shower," Willow said sheepishly. As if suddenly shy, she wrapped the robe tighter around her body. "Make yourself at home, I'll be back in a minute."
Tara didn't have to wait long, Willow was back quickly, dressed in a frayed sweatshirt and green cargo pants that clashed with the sweatshirt. Her hair was still wet, and in her hurry she had only towel dried it and forgotten to brush it. Tara resisted the urge to reach out and smooth out the knots sticking out from the back of her head.
"I don't normally show up on people's doorsteps uninvited," Tara started.
"Don't make a habit of it unless it's my doorstep," Willow said. "Um, well, that is, I'm being possessive ... oh heck, you must be here for a reason."
"I've been thinking."
"And?"
"We think we know each other, but we don't."
"Way to go, Einstein! You know what? I've been thinking too. In the shower especially, cuz I seem to come up with my best thoughts in the shower. Come with me," Willow didn't wait for Tara to respond before marching upstairs.
The fall on my head must have moved my brain around. It's the whole Take-Charge Willow coming out.
She paused outside her bedroom and placed her hand on the knob. This was it, within the few minutes of inviting Tara into her house she decided that she would show Tara everything.
"Will?"
"I want you to see something, okay? This is my room, and no it's not some pick-up line, there's something I want you to see, and something very important I want to tell you," Willow looked at Tara with a grave expression on her face.
"Is this the something important you were going to tell me a few weeks ago?" Tara's seriousness matched Willow's.
"This is more," Willow said simply, and opened the door to let Tara inside.
Tara was greeted by a room that was a mixture of a science fiction movie and a toy shop (at least to her mind). It was filled with toys, figures and books. Posters adorned wall space that wasn't taken up by shelves. Three laptops of different colors (metallic, white and black) sat side by side on a desk.
Willow closed the door softly and allowed Tara a few moments to take in the atmosphere and contents of the room. "When I was in high school, Xander introduced me to anime cartoons," she began slowly. "We started collecting games and toys, especially of our favorite character, a sort of superhero with a cute voice called Mina. We went to every event and convention we could afford. To get limited posters, I've camped outside a store for 3 nights straight. We count the days till the next edition of our favorite comic comes out.
"I spend all of my waking hours in front of a computer, either at work or at home. I have more friends online than in real life; I've only met a handful of them in person but we share so much in common, they feel like they are my family sometimes. There have been days and weekends when I don't leave the house and the only people I interact with is by typing at them.
"I've never been to a trendy restaurant until that time I met you, I know nothing about fashion or dinner parties or expensive brand names. I hate shopping."
Willow stopped her narration. Tara had turned around when she started, and her expression grew stony, then dazed, before settling on curious. Willow took a deep breath before continuing. "This is the type of person I am, Tara. If you find me lame and want nothing to do with me anymore, I won't blame you. I'm telling you this because I don't want to lie to you anymore. I did it once and it hurt both of us. I want us to be on good terms, may be acquaintances or good friends, but I'd rather it be more, you know?"
Tara stood rock-still throughout Willow's declaration, words and emotions were racing through her mind in a thousand directions yet she was able to focus on what Willow's was saying. This was a side of Willow she hadn't seen before. The same sincerely and earnestness was there, but there was conviction too. And ... a promise.
It was a long minute before Tara let out a long breath. Willow had not moved either, her expression quiet yet intense.
"This isn't fair. You said what I wanted to say before I could say it," Tara said softly. "I think you are the most sincere and genuine person I've ever met. You know so much about computers, you think it's a disadvantage? It isn't. I've never read a comic, or played a computer game, or watched an anime cartoon. I have two best friends in real life, one is so self-involved that I can't even come out to her. I come from a small town in Alabama and for the first year I moved to California I had to take voice lessons to get rid of my southern accent."
Tara watched as a trace of comprehension, and a margin of hope, slowly spread across Willow's features. "This is the type of person I am, Willow. I was afraid you find my life empty and want nothing to do with me anymore, and that scared me. I definitely want us to be on good terms, acquaintances or good friends is fine. But I'd rather it be more too, and can we sit down so I can kiss you now?"
Later they couldn't recall who tackled who first, or who ended up on top on whom, or how they managed to get their arms and legs so tangled up. Lips and tongues and kisses were all they could remember. Soft and sensual. Tender and tight. And very important.
*****
"Hi."
"You're home."
"You're so cute when you're stating the obvious."
"Ooops, I'm obvious girl. What are you doing?"
"I'm just re-arranging my bedside table so I can put my birthday present nearest to my bed."
"Are you sure this is what you want?"
Tara settled down on her bed and smiled at the new arrangement on her bedside table. "It's cute. I've never owned an action figure before. I didn't even have a Barbie."
Willow almost sat up. "You didn't have a Barbie? That simply won't do. We're going to ToysRUs."
Tara's laughter was silvery. "Hmm, cute."
"Hey, you should know that Barbies are the reason I, um, stopped dating boys."
"I thought you never dated anyone. Well, not until me."
"I dated Xander until I was five. He stole my Barbie and it traumatized me so much that I swore I'd never date men again."
"You're making this up."
"You can ask Xander, he'll back me up. No, scrap that, he'll deny it. Ask my mom, she'll verify that he stole my Barbie."
"We're at 'meet the parents' already?"
"Oh. We should talk about this first, shouldn't we?"
"At some point, yes. Um, do they know?"
"Know? Oh. Not really, it hasn't come up before. Can we talk about something else?"
"Sweetie, you can't avoid--"
"I'm not being avoidy, I just ... I just want to talk about something else. Please?"
"Okay, how about your promise?"
"My promise?"
"You forgot, didn't you?"
"Um, various signs of hesitation ..."
"Buy.New.Computer."
"Eeeeep."
"You forgot!"
"Hey, I've been pre-occupied! Hospitalized even."
"Fine. You realize you'll have to be punished?"
"Gulp."
"As punishment, you'll have to take me to the computer store tomorrow. I don't care if you had other plans, because I can't wait to see you again."
"As if I had any other plans."
"And then afterwards, you take me to your usual hang-outs."
"No, you don't want to go to those places!"
"I want to see. You promised to show me everything."
"Well, when I said everything ..."
"What's wrong with going to the computer store or comic store or to the video arcade?"
"You might find them bewildering that's all."
"You'll be there to show me round, that's enough for me."
"Sweet-talker."
"Cutie."
"Oh Willow, kiss me again. Oh. Oh. Oh."
"Not fair! I do not sound like that. And I thought you liked it."
"I did! I do! Now I don't want to change the sheets because they smell and feel of you."
"Will, eventually you'll have to wash them, because if you don't they'll start smelling of something else."
"Yeah, it's kinda gross, the more I think about it."
"Talking about sheets, I'm going to bed, I can't keep my eyes open. Sleep well and dream of me."
"I will. Night Tara."
"Night Willow."
I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
Love is all around me
And so the feeling grows
which one's that? it was from one of those Hugh Grant romantic comedies wasn't it?
"Love is all around" -- Wet Wet Wet. I snigger every time I see the name of the band
wasn't it a cover of an old song?
yeah, by the Turtles or the Trolls or something like that. 60s band (yes guys, I am a very poor substitute for mary and her brain full of music trivia)
Troggs
lol troggs, silly me how can I forget
lol
lol (and watty: mary is an exception, don't feel bad)
oh, it was from four weddings, which has probably the most beautifully read eulogy I've ever seen (I don't. I know I'll never reach mary's level)
I remember, it was a tearjerker. let me find it ...
of course, watty didn't cry when she was watching that part. she was probably fixated on the flooring or the color of the piano
hey! and, um, not so much flooring or color ... John Hannah's sexy Scottish accent[/small voice]
Scottish pirate accent!
okay, first it's Ted's hair, now John Hannah's sexy accent ... you're sooo straight
:miff
funeral blues (cached version)
it was also read at your Queen Mother's funeral, watty
welcome back, Willow-geek!
*my* queen mum? sigh, she was a lovely lady
looking forward to getting back to action figure talk, Will
chris is right. you're not gonna abandon us now that you have a girl are you?
you know, like *certain* other people who go missing for days and days after they get together, right C?
well, I'm here now
stop harassing the poor girl, you're bigger than her, it's not fair
yeah yeah, all the coupled ones stick together
jealousy will get you nowhere, car, least of all a girl
she shoots! she scores!
watty?
yes car?
do you want somewhere to stay next time you visit Chicago?
*wattysbrain is shutting up now and promises to buy more weirdly named chocolate products
lol. boy I've missed this
so, going back to the part where Willow promised to bring Tara here to meet us ...
DIBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ETA: YES! YES! OH FUCKING GODS DAMNED HELL YES! :applause :clap :applause :clap :applause :clap
I've been waiting for this for so long that, when reading this chapter, I nearly shouted out loud in happiness. (On several occasions. Which wasn't exactly a smart thing for me to do at seven in the morning when the rest of the family is in bed.) You said you'd get me to this point, watty, and you have. And I wanna thank you.
I also want to thank you in the way that you handled it. The way that both Tara and Willow bared their souls of one another was incredibly heartwarming and, after all the angst and OMG! Drama!!!1 that this fic has tossed their way, it was nice to finally see them admit to themselves how right they really are for one another, and to actually start being a couple. (And extra props for Willow giving Tara her Mina figure. It's one of the oldest cliches in the world, yet it seems appropriate here, for Willow to give Tara her most precious possession.)
I'll be honest. Back at the end of the last chapter, I thought that it was Faith that was going to be at the door. To be honest, I wouldn't mind having one more appearance in this fic of the brunette I've loved to hate and hated to love by the time its over...but only if she and Willow patch up their differences, especially when Willow learns that it's because of her that she and Tara are now an item.
I bow before you, watty. You truly are the Goddess of Angsty, Emotional Fics. :bow :bow :bow
Yay! Such a nice update. Makes me happy. *sigh* :) I love how Tara accepts ultra-geeky Willow and puts her new present on her nightstand and everything. (But I thought the present got broken when Willow passed out?) Most excellent m'dear Watty.
Willohand feels the ride coming to an abrupt stop. Before she can do anything that damn bar she`s been looking to hold on to during this ride finally comes out of no where and whacks her in the stomach. Partly dazing her and leaving her breathless. She looks around and realises that the ride is over. On shaky legs she steps out of the damn contraption. She instantly drops like a heavy rock. She atomactically starts to kiss the ground and is thanking every god imaginable. And of course the one person who is to blame and is to be thanked. "Okay Watty where ever you are I was scared to death and dizzy and in a total state of panic throughout this fic of your but in the end you have done one hell of a job. It really was like one of those sick rollercoasters I watch people get on. But go me for sticking it out mentally and braving all the deep dips and curves you through at me in this fic and not only did I finish the ride but I actually held all my food down as well.So GO ME!"
This was worth the madness.
Dear Watty- Pants.
You just go ahead and feel free to prove me wrong any old time you would like :-D.
My favorite part is, of course, the way you captured and reframed the whole 'entropy' let's just be kissing now talk. Yay for Willow and Tara kissing!
Ooh, and Willow gave Tara her very best toy. She really must be in love!!
I am proud of Willow for being so honest -- and I hadn't really thought about what Tara was hiding. I guess I felt like she was hiding less (after all she introduced Willow to Anya!), ... but she *does* have her issues. Every one does.
I can't wait to see the Willow-immersion day. Computer story, arcade, comic shops (oh my). I guess Tara's life does seem less full in comparison... but Tara's right, Willow *is* the most genuine and earnest person in the western hemisphere.
I love this story, and how you surprise me with every single chapter.
db
ps ( I still want faith to come out as willow's on-line friend and for the whole anya and willow previous meeting to come out in the open... it seems like this story is coming to a close, and I am itching to figure out how, or if, you are going to work these things in.)
I am, you know.
I have more friends online than in real life; I've only met a handful of them in person but we share so much in common, they feel like they are my family sometimes.
Yay for honesty. Also a slightly embarassed Yay for recognising myself in that...
"Tara?" Willow was staring at the person at her door with disbelief and astonishment.
Boo that I was wrong, but I knew I was going to be...:blush
Lips and tongues and kisses were all they could remember. Soft and sensual. Tender and tight. And very important.
Excited yelp followed by dreamy sigh....
Out-loud giggling that woke up the dogs...
Okay, so now I have to go and be really sad that I'm away from home with work because that kissing scene made me want to go kiss my woman. -sad face- It's really good though, I loved it.
It's about time! The dialogue leading up to the kiss must have been inspired. ;)
Great update.
did i ever tell you that i love this fic? cause i do. completely. i don't feel like analyzing and dissecting the various parts.....i prefer to concentrate on the feeling it gave me: fuzzy, and warm, and all happy and giddy.
thank you for posting this here, sweetie *hug*
And just like that, my head is spinning. It was Tara, she and Willow talked, and they (did they do it?) got together. Heh. Now, from my inside sources I think this chapter is the penultimate chapter, right? So I'm wondering how you'll tie up the loose ends - like who is Faith, what's up with Donnie, Anya, and Faith specifically, what was the present Willow was going to give Tara that got broken when she fainted at the fountain, will Tara and Willow move in together with a U-Haul shortly, etc. ;)
Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a more complete and satisfying getting-together of the principal characters. Well done, wattysbrain! :D
I definitely want us to be on good terms, acquaintances or good friends is fine. But I'd rather it be more too, and can we sit down so I can kiss you now?"
