We won't forget you...shows that aren't with us anymore

Salem Witch Trials, koala bears, SpongeBob: what's on TV and at the movies!

So many shows either cancelled way to early or went on too long.

In no particular order:

Dead Like Me
Wonderfalls (talk about getting the axe too early!)
Picket Fences
Brimstone
Dark Angel (1st season was superb but 2nd was... not so good but a 3rd season might have redeemed it)
Xena
Committed (I don't usually miss sit-coms that last 1 season or less but I loved Jennifer Finnigan in this)

I agree with everyone that has wondered why the shows that they like are always cancelled.

Rhi and i were just talking about old shows the other nite, and the ones we came up with were older than mentioned here (most of them anyways):

THE A-TEAM
MAN FROM ATLANTIS
ISIS
SHAZAM
MANIMAL (SP)
ARK
LAND OF THE LOST (THE ORIGINAL)
SEALS AND CROFT PUPPET HOUR
THE BAY CITY ROLLERS
LAUGH IN
THE MUPPETS
CAPTAIN KANGEROO
and of course XENA
ok now im aging myself

Why cant shows be fun anymore and what ever happened to saturday morning cartoons.

Oh yeah, Man from Atlantis with Patrick Duffy and his shaved chest and the actress with the really cute nose whose name I can't remember.

Melinda Culea, also with a cute nose, was the reason I watched The A-Team. :x

Oh man! where do i start?

Dead Like Me - Amazing!

Tru Calling - it was good, now it seems like Medium has kinda taken over in that genre, which is also a good show.

American Embassy - Had to cancel it right as it was getting good!

Popular - No one knows just how great that show is, hello! Mary Cherry!!! It had really good lessons.

Wonderfalls - Unfortunanly i dont really remember much about this show cept that it was funny.

My So-Called Life - Ahh Jordan Catalano, we hardly knew you

Undeclared - SO FUNNY! what college life is really about! haha

Ally McBeal - How can anyone forget those sweet McBealisms!

Futurama - The comedy is pure genius!

Thats all i think....
Mary Cherry IS my hero!

Am I the only one who liked The Ellen Show? I'm talking about the one that came out in the fall of 2001, not to be confused with Ellen, although that was an excellent show as well. The Ellen Show only lasted 13 episodes before they cancelled it. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at any show with Ellen's unique sense of humor and facial expressions combined with such phrases as, "I've got Shoe Hair!" Some of the highlights for me were the gym teacher, Bunny, crushing on Ellen, allowing an animal groomer to fix her hair, the pet cat that nobody but Ellen's mother ever saw, and how about the traffic cop named B. Arthur? Of course, how can you go wrong with Cloris Leachman anyway? And especially Ellen and Cloris playing off of each other was pure comic genius.

Good news for anyone who watched Picket Fences. It's coming to DVD!!!

At amazon.com it says that the release date is June 1, 2007. But here at TVShowsonDVD.com they give the date February 13, 2007. I hope the February date is the right one, but either way it's just great to know that it's being released. I'm so excited!

How can Beauty & the Beast not be on this list?? Until I finally stumbled across Willow & Tara, Catherine & Vincent had to be about the best couple I've ever seen, hands down. The first season & a half of that show were magic.

I certainly must agree about the quality of this show--one of the rare instances of a series enjoyed by both myself and my parents!!!

Although they have done many other worthy things, I would still rate B&theB as best thing that Ron Pearlman or Linda Hamilton have ever done. :)

Furthermore, I wonder how many people remember that Armin Shimerman had an interesting part in the series? ;-)

Of course I remember him as Pascal, he is my favorite Ferengi as well. I was very very hooked on B & tB and Catherine & Vincent back in the day. I read every little blurb in TV magazines or newspapers that I could get my hands on. Ah the days before the internet and personal computers. Recently out of curiosity I have even watched old interviews with Ron and Linda on youtube.
Also, I noticed the first season has just come out on DVD: http://www.amazon.com/Beauty-Beast-Comp ... B000K7UBX4
Cartman: Mom--Kitty is being a dildo.

Mrs. Cartman: Well, I know a little kitty who is sleeping with Mommy tonight.

The first-ever cancelation that effected me was
"DARK SHADOWS"... I came home one day from school to tune in and it was just Gone! :cry
They didn't cancel "THE AVENGERS" but after Dianna Rigg left it feels like they did.

XENA wasn't cancelled. S6 was going to be its last. I would have watched a 7th season of X & G... BUT I feel the same way about how they Ended X:WP as most folks here feel about what happened to Tara in Buffy S6.

FIREFLY - Was OK enuf that I'd have kept watching.

Wasn't really grabbed by DARK ANGEL.
Started watching ANGEL instead which was on at the same time.

Yeah, and FARSCAPE!!! Really miss that. :cry
