I remember this theme song from an auto dealer (spent my childhood in California), his name was Cal Worthington, if memory serves me right. His commercials aired a lot and he had a pet tiger named "Spot". All I remember of the jingle is "If you need a new car or truck
Go see Cal
If you need to save a buck
Go see Cal"
Other than that it's all a blur. Funny thing, the mind. I can't find the car keys but I can still remember a useless jingle from the 70's.

Anyone remember a Jeep commercial from the 80's? A bunch of people drive onto the screen in a Jeep. The Jeep honks twice. And then all the people in the Jeep yell, "Hi!"

To this freakin' day, when I hear a car horn, I can't help saying, "Hi!"

I remember when GI Joe was the same size as Barbie and Ken. Which was convenient for me. I had Fighter Pilot Barbie, and Commando Killer Barbie, and she used to kick the crap out of my brother's GI Joe almost daily.

I also remember one time my mom came home from the grocery and told me that she'd spent over $100. Oh my god, it took up the whole back of the station wagon and we ate for two weeks on it.

I went to the New Kids on the Block concert when I was 11!

It was about at the same time as I was wearing Kung-fun shoes, flurescent green lycra shorts, big baggie purple jumpers, pink polka dot scrunchies in my hair and leg warmers!

Anyone else see the Jennifer Garner movie '13 Going on 30'? Well that's what my childhood looked like...only we didnt have stupid cliques because there were only four girls my age at my school and as well brought up country kids we didnt care about what we wore or who spoke to who, all we cared about was playing softball and soccer at lunchtimes, loderunner on the Commodore 64 and running home after school to watch Voltron and play in our treehouse.

I can't believe that's almost twenty years ago! Eep!

Hell ya I was there but I also loved Disco (don,t throw stuff at me ok) it was good but my favorite was Led zepplin wow that was the first 8 track I owned . In 1977 I was a freshman in High school

I remember the days of Are You Afraid of the Dark? and coming home from school, racing as fast as I could from the bus stop to watch it.

And the bitter feud among me and my two friends about who was better, N'Sync or the Backstreet Boys.

And Britney Spears back when she was at least a tiny bit an appropriate role model, or I was too young to notice that she wasn't. Not sure which.

Ah, the Dukes of Hazard. I made the mistake of trying to watch an episode a couple years back and couldn't even make it to the end.
But in grade school I thought it was the best thing ever.

And how about "Excalibur"? Somehow that movie, however silly, is nestled somewhere deep in my mad-sad excuse for a psyche. I had the revelation the other day that Helen Mirren played Morgana. Wicked sexy, way young.

I don't know what I'm happier for... going to this concert or met someone this nice. In the two cases I can tell that the singer is really hoooot and great and and and ...

I remember the last b-day of my niece, it was great !
She had fun with all her friends, and was happy of having a party. It was her first one with her friends without familly and all !
