Hey there,
It's really nice to see an update here. Tara's story is quite touching and I'm a little shocked that she opened up to Willow so much. She must feel a real base of feeling for the redhead. I'm also guessing that Tara's a witch if she felt Willow's spell. Now the question I have is this: Did she cut off the spell and catch the ball because her concept of moral rightness (particularly around the game is so exact)? or because she did not want Willow specifically to do such a thing? The same questions kind of apply to her telling Willow her story (of how important cricket is and the morals and ethics associated) and her letting Willow know that she knows what Willow was going to do?

I'm facinated at the meanings not to mention the kiss on the cheek.

I really like how you've set up Tara - she has a sense of mysticism that's very true to canon, but (though she's obviously got some magic to her) it's as if her path is cricket instead of witchcraft. Her recounting of her town's history with the game added to that, and had a very cricket-y feel - the way that it's got so much history and tradition built into it. Whatever the reality, there's always been something about cricket that's made me think it's not just a professional sport, but also an extension of all the cricket that's come before.

That kiss on the cheek is very promising :blush
