The Thrilling Adventure & Supernatural Hour on Dec 8th,

ok i went to this and i loved it! For anyone who doesn't know what it is, it's basically a series of plays that go on while you sit and eat. If anyone gets the chance to watch the next one, it's worth it. It's very funny!!

Anyway, i got there and i got to meet both Amber and Adam Of course it took me awhile to gather the courage to go talk to Amber. I couldn't believe i was in the same room with her! I've been waiting five years to meet this woman! So while I was sitting at my table w/my friends getting more nervous by the minute, the play was starting. ( by the way, my table was by the speakers and one of the firsts one in front of the stage so all the actors had to pass my table) It was very enjoyable and funny and quirky. A half an hour or so into the play, common rotation guest starred in the play and made their way up. Then Amber walked right by me and kind of brushed against me and made her way up the stage too! Her little skit was so funny. She played a German mother who had to save her deceased husband's farm from being taken over by an evil mayor. (we took some videos of her acting and singing, ill try to post em up this week) After the play, Common Rotation played their set. I've never heard their stuff before and I thought it was really good! At one point, Adam invited Amber to come up and sing with him and they sang a folky version of Give It To Me by Timbaland, justin timberlake and nelly furtado. It was so hilarious! After they finished, we went up to Adam and took a pic and told him how much we enjoyed their set. He was really nice and talked to us for awhile. He sold us a cd and invited us to his next concert next month.

We finally finished up our evening with a visit to Amber. She looked so beautiful and i was so nervous! We told her how good of a job she did in the play and everything and she said "oh thank you! I had a few drinks and supposedly alcohol helps with your German accent!" haha she did look really buzzed! My cousin asked for her autograph and Amber was like "sure, do you want me to sign the play program?" and my cousin said "oh I have a notebook." Amber then said "Oh you have your own thing? She has her own thing! (to her friends)Its ok guys, she has her own thing!" we all laughed. I just thought 'oh man i guess she did drink a lot!' haha!! We all talked for awhile more, i wished her a happy early birthday and gave her this birthday mix cd i made for her. She said "Oh my god, you're so sweet! Thank you!" and then gave me a big, long hug. We took pics with her then said our goodbyes. My god it was a great night! And i got to see drunk amber! Taboo just came to my mind haha.

oh hey! i was there, too! and she certainly was a dearheart. she even worked some, er... magic to get us into the show as it was sold out. and was it just me or did the woman. smell. f.i.n.e.

thanks for sharing your experience. we had to leave after the comedy hour show as we had previous plans with friends.

I am sooo jealous!

She was supposed to come in Paris for the Buffy Con last November but there were troubles and they cancelled and never called Amber or Adam back (it's Adam who told us that... Officially Amber was asking too much things... Would be the first time knowing that Adam was coming in Paris with the Common Rotation anyway)... I was sooo disappointed! (but the con was soooo great that 'till the Sunday night I didn' think of it too much)

And here you got to see Amber acting AND a Common Rotation concert AND Adam and Amber singing together? And on Saturday? For my sister's birthday (with time zone stuff it was also my brithday by then)...

I am happy for ya... You said you made some videos? If you ever want to share? please?

Alcohol would be a lubricant for any foreign tongue than one's own, I'd think.

I've met Amber twice and she glows brighter with each passing day.
I've seen Common Rotation in concert three times and they are fabulous.
Amber is an honorary member of the band, I think, what with dating Adam and all.
Brilliant that she joined together with the band in singing, too.

videos update: apparently my cousin took the videos on her phone and the size files are too big to send in a message so shes having trouble sending them to the computer...but this weekend she is gonna try to go get a connector for the phone to the computer so hopefully we can get em up later this week. i'll keep you guys updated.

haha those are actually mine. i just put em up not too long ago. i was gonna post something about it but you beat me to it yea sorry the quality isnt so great, they came out good for common rotation though.. ill try to put up the others soon. and keep a lookout for our videos cuz we keep going to this thing every month so i might get more amber vids wit my camera! (so the audio can be better than my cousins phone
