It's wet and miserable here in England as it has been ALL SUMMER!!! Oh for some sunshine to brighten the skies above and to darken my pasty skin. It's a good job I like the 'pale and interesting look'...

It's pissing it down AGAIN!!!! It's been so long since we saw the sun here that my usually pale skin has become almost translucent. Half of the country is flooded again and our heating has broken down. On the plus side all this water gets me out of cutting the grass - I have electrical cutting equipment....

We got the left-overs of hurricane Ike yesterday...hello flash flooding.
Luckily, I did not get flooded out.
It's extremely nice out now...high around mid-60's...my favorite!

Ongoing torrential rains right up to the afternoon.

It cleared after that leaving a thick and lovely mist covering up the mountains in the capital city – I quite enjoyed it.

Tonight is the first night since perhaps May that I've turned off the air-conditioner and opened all the windows. Get a little air going through the house. Probably could've done it a bit sooner, but I didn't get around to it. I'm a big fan of Fall & Winter, and the first night I do this is always kind of special.
