It wasn't a bumper sticker so I guess it's a bit off topic but it is connected to motoring. I was in India some years back driving (or rather being driven) in the Himalaya. We were driving on the scariest road in the world up to a place called the Rhotang Pass which is about 10,000ft above sea level - from there there are amazing vistas of the mountain range. Anyway, the roads up there are terrifying, panic -inducing affairs; hairpin bends and single track with vehicles coming in both directions. In order to alert the motorist to the perils of driving up there, billboards encouraging moderate speed and care are placed along the route, for example:
Married to speed? - Get a divorce
Live and let live
Please be gentle with my curves
My favourite one was:
Darling I want you but not so fast
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. - Jeanette Winterson, Gut Symmetries
