You do indeed rock Dorothy - wish I could come...I have a good friend in LA and everything but no money in my pockets, bank account or in between my sofa cushions. This campaign has my unyielding support though.

I was lucky, I received a tax refund yesterday which was equal to my downpayment on the hostel and the flight price together.

And the winter here is CRAP it's almost freezing and raining all the time so supporting myself too by flying over to LA :kdevil

As someone from Scotland, and not a member of the LGBT community except in spirit, I voice my shock and upset at the disgraceful decision to vote Prop 8 into law in California. It shocks me that on the day America voted in a new President, elected on the theme of untiy and change, California has written segregation into it's constitution.

So I have written to the Democratic Party, outlinging my outrage and my hope that your President will do what he must to see justice done here.

Good luck kittens! I'm backing your fight for rights all the way!

Who/what is the best person/place to send a letter to strongly expressing the desire to see prop8 overturned and Cali put back on the right track?

Don't know what good a letter from a straight Englishman will do, but I think it's important to show my support somehow.
