Sandi made Zucchini Parmesan for dinner with pasta with butter and fresh parmesan cheese on the side...I always thought that cheese only came all dried out in those canister thingies...anyway, it was YUMMY!

Chamomile tea.

Also chili, green beans and dark chocolate.

Separately. Because all mixed together would be a little too weird even for me.

Another yankee classic...Chicken Pie...not to be confused with chicken pot pie...there's no pot in this one ;-) Just chicken and carrots and taters and celery in gravy, baked in the oven with biscuits on top...kinda like a chicken cobbler...and Sandi's kickin' sweet tea of course

I am SO hungover today. I was so drunk last night that I wore my friends cha-cha heels - to say that they didn't look good on my otherwise boyishly butch exterior is an understatement.

Still I managed not to break my ankles which is a bonus.

OT I'm eating meat pie in a vain attempt to heal myself...

A beer. More precisely a "Double Extreme Imperial Wheat Stout" called "darkforce" and made by "HaandBrygeriet".

Norwegian, apparently (and pretty damn pretentious, yah?)

Also, I have to say, super yummy. It's so dark it looks like a cola, and very rich.

Also some cheese and an apple.

This is more on the topic of "What Did You Have For Dinner the Last Two Nights, MKF?" Mrs. Gorn whipped up a huge heap of shrimp & cream sauce fettucini. It's a reddish cream sauce, though, tomato-based not cheese. One of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. We don't get fresh shrimp much out here in the beautiful bluegrass hills of Kentucky, and Mrs. Gorn has only made this dish once before. Absolutely fantastic. Seriously, I almost never bother ordering pasta in a restaurant anymore.

And if that weren't enough, she also picked up some fresh salmon and served it on the side, lightly breaded, perfect. I had the leftover salmon for breakfast today with a little soy sauce.

Might be a Japanese thing. Grilled salmon, a bowl of rice, and miso soup is a pretty typical breakfast over there. In this case, though, I ate it just because it was there. I've always been something of a scavenger for breakfast.

I believe they are called Pinkles, but here there are pinkles and "cornichon" which I've been told aren't exactly the same...

OT: a Nice St nicolas in milk chocolate I got for the Saint Nicolas (it seems I've been a good kid héhéhé), and Oasis.
