Ha ha, thanks Seurat :D, I had never heard of it, but the title amused me so I googled it and read a reader´s review. It sounds like fun, I´ll add it to my list and buy it if I come across it. It´s about time I read a book again.
Cartman: Mom--Kitty is being a dildo.

Mrs. Cartman: Well, I know a little kitty who is sleeping with Mommy tonight.

am reading Armed&magical, Wicked, a selfhelpguidethingybook and Ciske de rat (a Dutch book about an abused boy who kills his mother :kdevil )

Only the last one is in Dutch, it starts feeling weird to read, speak or think my own language, maybe I should get out more ROFL

Mansfield Park - Jane Austen. There is nothing quite like being back in Austen's safe embrace. Fanny Price is gearing up to be my favourite ever Austen heroine.

Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters.

I also recently devoured I Can't Think Straight and The World Unseen... both by Shamim Sarif... I highly recommend both the books and the movies, they are now amongst my new favorites.

I've been reading (or at least trying to read) To the Lighthouse, but I think I'm going to give up and start something new. I'm finding this book far more difficult to follow than I expected, though I like what Woolf has to say.

Midwives by Chris Bohjalian. I've read it before a few years ago and I loved it enough to decide I wanted to be a midwife. While I don't expect (or want) to come to this decision again, I'm excited to see what my reaction will be this time around.

'Stone of Tears' by Terry Goodkind. It's a good story, but the dialogue is so stilted! Hopefully it will have improved sometime during the next few books in the series...

The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eguenides. So far it's pretty good but very strange. I prefer his book Middlesex.
