The apocalyptic tone on the news this morning is back, school are closing, motorways are slowing, they've run out of grit (I mean please). Yes, the snow is back!!!

It's beautiful and I'm loving the chaos so yeah PolarBear - keep it coming!!

Today and tomorrow the high temperatures are going to be in the high 60s. In early February. In Kansas. I'm not complaining, it's just weird. Next week the forecast is indicating high temps in the 40s again. I'm going to enjoy the sunshine while I can!

I've seen pictures of the snow in London...beautiful, but kinda strange.

cold and grey :( but in five weeks it'll be warm and sunny :D

Now it's raining instead of snowing but the temperature is still under zero. I wonder how slippery it will be at night when I'm working.

The weather is crazy :confused Trees should not be budding nor should there be peoples playing golf. We have had unseasonal warm weather and the spring thaw is early. Though this is Nebraska wait 20 mins, the weather will change. We are projected to have 1/2 a foot of snow by Friday :happy

It was amazing today, and all last weekend really. Sunny and mid 70s. Yep, that's why I'm in Florida
Willow: We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know... insane.

We got up to close to 7 inches of snow, look out folks back East here it comes. Like most Midwesterners I can always talk about the weather :blush

LOL you'd be most welcome here then. It is absolutely true that the English love to talk about the weather. At bus stops in winter, "It's too cold for me"; at bus stops in summer, "It's too hot for me"; when it's raining, "I wish it would stop raining"; when it's dry, "I wish we'd have some rain"....

Lol! I don't think it's only English people... For the bus stop talk anyway.
Most peole here are like "it's too cold, it's too hot, it's too rainy, it's too dry"...
Then they'll go with "there are no seasons anymore" and when at last we have a real winter or real summer they're like "we're not used to such weather anymore, I wish it would be like usual".
Lol.

OT: it's cold but dry. And the sky is gray.

LOL - I hear ya sister - that's classic my mom - "We used to have 10 feet of snow all winter" etc and this year we did have a real winter and we had all the 'we're not used to it' talk. That was the excuse for us running out of grit leaving half the roads in the region impassable. I love it!

Its so nasty outside. Been raining and windy all day/night.
It wouldn't be so bad but the rain is the kind that comes at you sideways and hurts when it hits you. Or maybe I'm wimpy and it just hurts me.

warm, have windows and door open to get room to an acceptable temperature *sneeze* makes hayfever worse though
