The latest reason since the last one why Amber rocks and why she inspires such loyalty and devotion from her fans.
A lot of other writers, if they even connect with their fans at all, would simply post some lame-ass video of them but Amber knows and embraces the fact that without her fans she wouldn't have a career in the Arts so like every other creative project she produces she has placed her own singularly unique vision upon this video.

amber hasnt wrote many books and from what i can figure this is her first time so i feel she needs to be cut some slack shes not a long time writer like laurell hamilton or christopher golden most of ambers writings have been in graphic noveling which is cut up with pictures telling the story i for one think amber did a great job for a begining writer and hopefully as her confidence gains she will write more and more maybe even a buffy book a some time in the future.

Cammy- remember what Tara said about the internet and how people write on it? :-) Punctuation is your friend...

As to Joss giving Amber a chance, I am not certain Amber needs Joss' help in writing books or moving her career forward. There is nothing to stop her from doing a Tara book, but I would guess she would prefer to leave that part of her career behind so she can move forward with her career now.

Personally, I dug it...a style reminiscent of Christopher Moore or someone of that ilk...my favorite genre...snarky and weird and funny with a supernatural twist oft times...I may be in the minority, but the wife and I liked it a lot...I think the trouble is oeople were expecting a horror novel and got a comedy...I loved all the little nods and jibes at Buffy...very Amber...but that's just my opinion

The Macarena dance was hilarious and full marks for Amber for not going at it half-heartedly but really giving it her all.

I think it actually shows how grateful she was, that she would actually stand by ehr word but not in a feeble way but full on. To me, it shows genuine thanks to the fans for posting reviews, rahte than giving us any old version and feeling she had done enough. We seemed to deserve, in her eyes, a proper thanks and that was what we got.

So YAY for Amber on this one.

I was in the denial stage for quite some time, I hated the macerena because I couldn't do it. But after watching Amber Benson, and I quote "shake her rump" I finally found the motivation to learn. Only after wiping the pool of drool off my chair.

My friend bought it for me as an early birthday present. Since we had an evening planned, I didn't get to start it until ten PM that night.

Good god, I read it till 3:30 in the morning, despite the fact that I had school the next day. I kept telling myself just one more chapter before I would go to bed, and that I would finish it in the morning, but I couldn't put it down. Now, I'm not a big fan of chick-lit, so that says something. Of course, I'm a huge Amber fan, so I would have plowed through it regardless, but I really did enjoy this book. ^.^

I was so tired the next day. I was giggling over it in class, and my friend was just staring at me like I was insane xD But it did make me laugh a lot when I was reading it, which is good ^.^

Seriously, anyone who is considering it, try it out. Even if you don't like Chick-lit.

well, it´s kinda fun... a few times I was confused, cause I´m not US -native and I had to google a few things, but it´s really funny, the main character has a quirky humour...

I like "Death's Daughter" and certainly didn't mind the first person perspective (also love the Drresden Books, which are also 1st person).

I think 1st person will be the style of these novels. Any future novels with different characters may be told in a different way.
