I need some help and opinions...

I started writing my first fic last month, and I have posted a few chapters here on the board. lately, between school work, lack of sleep, and stress I have formed a lovely case of writers block.

Part of the problem is the fact that when I look at my story, the flow of events, and everything that I want to fit in the following chapters, the flow isn't right. What I am tempted to do is go back to my thread and tell everyone that I am restructuring the story and perhaps adding a bit of content where I skimped originally. Thing is, I don't know if this is the right thing to do. I really want to finish this story, but with the time line and flow of things right now, it feels a bit cramped.

Any ideas on what I should do or what I could do?

P. S this fic does have super-natural witchy elements in it, so perhaps a plot device of that sort could be used to fix the time crunch....

I say if it clears your block, go for it. You can always do the bit of restructing you want and repost what you have so far in a new thread, and continue on from there.

I just reread what you have so far, and it really is awesome. I think it flows pretty well, but if you feel like the direction you want to take the story has flow-y problems, then definitely restructure and add content if it'll help.

Where you have it now, the girls have admitted they want to be together/are together, so you've got options to go whereever you want from there (i'm not suggesting you break them up, at all, just that the newness is ground to cover), plus Tara's past has just come out and there's the issue of her father finding her.

I think this story is really great and I hope you manage to work through your block and write more on it, 'cause I, for one, am eagerly awaiting reading more.
