WIRMTS: I know I need to tell her I'm gay, sooner rather than later, but it's just not that easy to make the decision to brake my grandmother's heart. She and I stopped really being friends a long time ago, and I won't have nearly as good a time if she's there; I'd rather just see the three of you, the friends I'm still comfortable with, the ones I think actually care about me. I don't even know anything about her life; we haven't talked once since graduation almost two years ago. If the point is for me to have a good time I don't really want her there, but she's still your friend, and I'm sure you and the others all want her there. I'll feel left out and it won't be much fun for me, but she's your friend so I guess you should invite her if you want to. It's selfish of me not to want her there anyway.
