Summary: Willow is one of the hottest models in the world. When she comes home for her holiday, she meets a nice family that is new to Sunnydale. Can she find love, and continue her much loved career? This is an AU fic. There will be a little angst between some characters, but nothing big for I want to keep the angst issue light. ~Part 14c~~*~*~*~*~
Willow walked into the restaurant, and saw Tara sitting in a corner booth studying. Tara sensed it was her, but decided to play the ‘I’m-totally-aware-that-you’re-there-but-I’m-being-oblivious’, game.
“Hey beautiful.” Willow said standing beside Tara.
Tara looked up and smiled. “Hey yourself.” She pulled Willow down to kiss her. “What brings you here?” She asked when she pulled away.
“Do I need an excuse to eat lunch…or see my girlfriend hard at work?” Willow grinned. “Besides, I called Lisa and asked when your lunch break was, and she said eleven thirty, so…here I am.”
“And here you are.” Tara agreed pulling Willow in for another kiss.
“I have something for you.” Willow pulled out a long stem rose from behind her back and handed it to Tara.
Tara took it and breathed in Willow-scent rather then the smell of the rose. “Will, you didn’t have to.”
“Actually I kinda did.” Willow shyly said. “You see, I was suppose to give you that last night, but Hadley called and said you weren’t going to your night classes, which by the way missy…”
“Willow.” Tara softly interrupted.
The red head took a deep breath, “Right, no changing the subject with my babble, ok, anyways, I ran out of the house so fast, I forgot the rose in it’s vase.”
“You’re so sweet.” Tara laced their fingers together. “You know, you can sit down.” She laughed.
“Oh I know, it’s just, you’re studying and I really don’t want to bother you.” Willow smiled.
“You’re not bothering me.” Tara moved over so Willow could sit on the same side as her. “Besides, I’d rather study you.”
“Hmmm…I can be a very interesting studying model.” Willow grinned.
“And you are…literally. You get paid for it and everything.” Tara smirked.
“But this is MUCH better, this is…priceless.” Willow looked at their hands and then smiled. “I never thought I could be so happy with someone.”
“Me neither. I always thought my road paved a way that leads to ‘single mother for life’.” Tara let out a small smile.
“Oh Tara.” Willow cupped the blondes cheek with the palm of her hand, “If anyone couldn’t see the beauty you hold, if they couldn’t see how much love you have offer to those who need you, they are not worth it. They’re not even worth thinking about.” Willow’s thumb caressed a cheek. “Got that?” She held a serious tone in her voice, and her eyes held Tara’s.
Tara’s cheeks went red and her eyes shimmered with gloss. “Got it.”
Willow hugged her, “And you won’t have to worry about that someone anymore,” She pulled out of the embrace, “Because I’m not going anywhere, I’m here for you…always.”

“Nope, she didn’t even notice.” Dawn said walking out of the school.
“Doesn’t she have slayer hearing? I mean, if I did, and my kid sister was out until the middle of the night, I’d at least hear her come in.” Tori said, giggling.
“True.” Dawn replied.
The couple walked towards the student parking lot.
“Where are we going?” Dawn asked, hopping into the passenger side.
“Sunny Ville’s for lunch…my treat.” Tori grinned and pulled out of the parking lot.
“You just want to bug your sister about that surprise.”
“So not true, can’t a girl take her girlfriend out for lunch?” Tori pushed a lock of her hair behind her ears.
“Of course she can…so let’s go to that pizza place.” Dawn giggled.
“Um…no, Sunny Ville is closer, and I don’t want pizza.” Tori grinned. “OK, you got me, but bugging my sister is in my job description.”
“So Tara saw me sneak out huh?”
“Yup. But she really doesn’t care.”
“That’s good. I don’t want to not be able to go out with you, or stay in with you.” Dawn breathed a sigh of relief.
“My sister’s a powerful witch not mean.” Tori pulled up beside the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. “She thinks you and I…slept together.” Tori grinned.
“She what?” Dawn squealed. “Tara thinks you…me…we?”
“Uh yeah…but don’t worry about it sweetie, I told we didn’t, and she believes me.”
“Well she should, because it’s true.” Dawn opened up the door and got out.
“Dawn…is something wrong?” Tori raced to the other side of the car, to her girlfriend.
“Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just…I mean…” Dawn held her breath and looked away.
“What’s wrong?”
“Sometimes…when we’re together, you know, snuggling and kissing, I want to let down that barrier I have up and you know…but I can’t. Then I feel like I’m holding you back…and I don’t want to make you feel that way.” They young Summers looked everywhere and anywhere but her love’s eyes.
“Dawn…you’re not holding me back. Ok?” Tori cupped Dawn’s face into her hands and forced her to look her way. “Holding you, and kissing you, and caressing your arms, your waist, and face…that’s all I need right now. Just to have you near me is all I need. Sweetie, we’re not in any rush to go someplace we know we’re not ready for.”
“I’m not holding you back?”
“No. Dawn…” Tori sighed and grabbed Dawn’s hands. “I know we’re young, and this relationship we have going is new. But I’m falling…” It was Tori’s turn to look away, “I’m falling in love with you.” She whispered.
Dawn grinned and pulled Tori to her and kissed her. “Tor…me too. I’m falling in love too.”
“You are?” Tori asked breathless.
Dawn nodded her head and giggled. She buried her head in Tori’s shoulder as they hugged.
“Come on…let’s go have some lunch.”
~*~*~*~*~
“Ready to order?” Lisa asked the two witches.
“I’ll have my usual.” Tara smiled. “What do you want?”
“Uh…” Willow thought for a moment, “Her usual.” She said to Lisa.
“Oh you know what I’ve always wanted to do?” Tara asked excited, “Get a big milkshake with two straws, so two people can share.”
“Oh…cool. Me too.” Willow smirked. “What kind?”
“Chocolate?”
“Chocolate it is.” Willow smiled and moved in closer to Tara.
“Are you sure you want to share…I mean it’s from the same glass.” Tara asked unsure.
“Tara, you and swap saliva, I’m sure sharing a milkshake isn’t going to hurt.” Willow giggled.
“Well if it isn’t the lovebirds.” Tori said walking up to her sister and the red head.
“Hey guys.” Willow said to the two teenagers. “Lunch time?”
“Yeah, just thought I’d treat my girlfriend to lunch.” Tori smugly said.
“And bug your sister.” Dawn muttered smirking.
“Oh, her bugging me is a twenty four hour thing, so I’m not surprised.” Tara motioned for them to sit across from them in the same booth. “What is it you want now?” She looked at her sister smiling.
“Well…you see, last night I recall you saying you were going to tell us about that surprise if Hadley was good.” Tori said innocently.
“I was…but I said tonight.” Tara reminded Tori.
“What surprise?” Willow asked looking at her girlfriend. Tara gave her a certain, ‘you know’ look, and Willow quickly understood. “Oh, that secret.”
“Willow knows?” Tori asked. “You told Willow first?”
“Actually, no…I did not, and Tori I told we’d discuss this later ok?” Tara warned her sister.
“Fine.” The young Maclay sat back in the booth. “At least Dawn doesn’t know.”
“You’re right…I don’t.” Dawn lied. “But I’m sure you’ll tell me later. I must be juicy if Willow knows.”
“If I tell you, what do I get?” Tori asked her girlfriend, grinning uncontrollably.
“Hmmm…wouldn’t you like to know.” Dawn grinned herself.
“Here you go…one milkshake with two straws.” Lisa placed the milkshake down on the table. “And what can I get for you two lovely ladies?” She smiled warmly.
“Our usual.” Dawn smiled.
“Great, one plate of friends, two burgers, and one strawberry milkshake with two strawberries.” Lisa laughed and walked back to the kitchen.
Three athletic guys came in to the restaurant, the tall brunette spotted the four girls in the corner booth. “Summers.” He said smiled walking over to the booth. “How’s it going?”
“Hey Todd.” Dawn smiled. “It’s going good.”
“That’s good.” He looked around the table.
“Oh, sorry, Todd, that is Willow…” Dawn began.
“Yeah…I could never forget you.” Todd licked his lips and grinned.
“This is Tara…her girlfriend.” Dawn emphasized the girlfriend part. “And you know Tori, Tara’s sister.”
“Wow, good looks run through the family.” One of the guys behind Todd said.
“Anyways,” Todd knelt down and faced Dawn. “The Welcome Back dance coming up, and I was coming hoping that you’d like to go with me?”
“Uh…” Dawn froze for a second, and looked at Tori. “You know Todd, I’m flattered, but I think I might have a date with someone already…kinda seeing someone.” Dawn offered a warm smile.
“Oh, that’s cool.” Todd stood up. “I just thought you were single, I mean, I can understand why you’re not…’cause that’d be a shock. Do you think, maybe if your date would let you…you could save me a dance?” He asked hopeful.
“I’m not sure…I’ll have to ask.” Dawn grinned.
“Great, so I guess I’ll see you back at school. Nice meeting all of you…” Todd ripped off his cap and handed it to Willow. “Could you autograph this for me?”
“Sure.” Willow took the marker Tara offered. “Todd right?”
“Yeah.”
Willow scribbled her name and smiled handing back his cap.
“Thanks.” He waved and made his way to where his friends waited.
“You’re welcome.”
“My girlfriend’s name on some strange guys ball cap…say Will…” Tara moved her lips close to Willow’s ear. “Do you think you could autograph me…personally…with your,” Tara’s voice dropped her voice into a mere whisper, “tongue?” And licked her lobe.
“Tara Maclay!” Willow said shocked. She was blushing uncontrollably. “You vixen.”
Dawn and Tori looked at each other and burst out laughing.
