Seeing my girl at the end of the week, got a promotion at work, my hand is finally healing and I can move my thumb now, without it hurting
Hopefully going to Hallowhendon in October and I think that any kittens that can make it should!

Since Saturday 19th, I officially, unofficially and materially live with my girlfriend, Lisa, in Belgium. Her best friend gave me the cutest postcard to welcome me in Belgium, and to tell me she was happy I entered Lisa's life.
I definitely finished the old book of ;y life and have started a brand new one.
I am so happy. Even more because all of it feels extremely natural.

Today a group of French students visited our school. One of them was assigned to shadow me for the day and she was very interesting. We both learned a lot from each other. And she was pretty- I will admit there was a little ogling on my part.

I feel like my life has gained some kind of order at last .
I managed to cut down my drinking and I'm sleeping a bit more. My girlfriend and I managed to sort everything out and I have a good feeling about a job I applied for .
Things are definately looking up at last.

When my lady was here we met up with my parents and pretty much spent the whole day together. My mom cooked, we went out for coffee and my dad drove us around, telling her about history and stuff.

I still can't believe my parents love my girlfriend... It came unexpected (since they never liked any of my girlfriends), but it makes me so very happy.

I got to work in my old room this afternoon, the second Friday in a row, and today I even got to feel like I was in charge again. It was bittersweet because I so miss being in there full-time, but it was incredibly wonderful to get to spend a couple hours with my old babies, plus I got to feel good about my work because I still know how to run that room and it's a great feeling. I like being good at my job and I looooove spending time with my Rainbows

I didn't think I'd see my little sis until after her surgery, but today I got to see most of my family and just spend a few hours chatting and eating tons of junk food. Sister was in her own head a lot, which is to be expected, but she was in a pretty good mood and tried to be present, plus she said she wanted to see me while she's recovering which made me happy, and we made plans to have a tv-and-junk-food night like we used to

Oh, and I get to find out tomorrow if my other sister's having a boy or girl

My beautiful lady and I have been together for ten amazing months today!

Yesterday we spent the whole afternoon with my girlfriend's cousin and her boyfriend, and their adorable almost @ years old son, Niels. He also is my girl's godson, and he "wrote" her a letter. ^^
On Friday we went to see my girl's little sister who had a baby on January 1st. Little Fay was a bit fussy but she's so cute. She changes so fast.
All of this makes me incredibly happy as I get to be around babies. Better even, I get to be the French auntie.

Despite the fact I have totally worn out my fiancés interest in Buffy, I managed to convince him to buy me the $70 complete DVD set as an early birthday present. And I mean early--my birthday's at the end of June.

Just picked up the Buffy boxed set for $70 on Amazon...$100 off the normal price! PLUS I had a $50 gift card from Christmas, so I only paid $22! What's not to be happy about??

I managed to organize my moving in such a way that everything went smoothly. I did all the administration stuff needed, or at least started them and now am waiting for things to get done by the administration... It makes me incredibly happy because it means am breaking the circle. I'm not like my family. At least not all the way. For once I feel proud of myself.

My sister's okay I've known for 8 hours and it still hasn't really sunk in 100%, but I think once I see her in the hospital tomorrow it will be more real. And soon, we'll know if the surgery took her migraines away...

My sister might be able to go home tomorrow, which is 1-2 days earlier than expected. Plus, I'm listening to my family's album we made last summer and it always makes me feel better.
