Bambi, hahahahhahahahaha.
. At least now Willow as a little ammo to throw back at Sheila when she tries her next attempt at separating Willow and Tara.
gotta agree with Hunter on this one when he says moron. Seriously, was Grayson even in the line when they were handing out brains lol.
sexy
#%$# and
. See below for the details!
Willow froze; dropping the lettuce, which bounced across the floor leaving a swath of wetness in its path. The errant bouncing vegetable finally stopped when it hit the back of Tara’s leg.
to bleached blonde hell
in two sentences! “Well hey there ya’ll! Oh my gawd..you must be little Willow. Well aren’t you just the cutest little thang!” The woman announced, as she strode forward and engulfed the stunned redhead in what could only be described as, the most awkward one-sided hug in the history of awkward one-sided hugs.
Truly a role model of the bizarre and ridiculous! Lovely!
And Bambi Rae SWALLOWS – okay, I’ll be quiet now!
“Ow, what the hell dude?” He asked, rubbing the back of his neck and turning towards his little brother.
“Quit staring,” Hunter whispered, “Grab a couple beers and let’s sit out on the porch.”
Tara thought for sure that Willow would release her and go back to chatting with her brothers, but she didn’t. She tightened her grip and began swaying them as if they were dancing; only there was no music. Tara swayed with Willow; fighting the urge to turn in her lovers arms and kiss her senseless. Both women were aware that the boys were still in the room, but neither cared; the moment was just too precious to abandon.
Then Ira catching them and his discussion with Tara, very touching and very lovely! I know that being welcomed into the family means a great deal to Tara!
)Awww, thanks so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying it!!I know that I haven't left much in the way of comments and feedback, but this is one of my favorite stories on the board. This chapter was especially cute with all the sneaky kisses and general light hearted tone.
More about Willow’s past and Robby’s identity are answered in the following chapter. You guess right about him being Sheila’s pawn…I am very interested to find out who Robbie is and if this is the end to Sheila's plan to convert her daughter.
Oh hell yes she did!Oh hell no she didn't!!
Willow just might surprise us.Willow is gonna explode, and I'm sure Tara isn't going to be too pleased either.
I have to tell you, this woman is 100% based on a real person. The step mother of one of my daughter’s friends to be exact. She showed up at their orchestra concert and I turned to my wife and said, “Holy crap! She’s perfect for my fic!!”And Bambi, OMG, I can totally picture this fake floozy.
Her friend’s Dad is 41 and this chick is like 25…so you can imagine what the deal is there, lol. Let’s hope Grayson redeems himself soon! He’s definitely not getting a lot of love here. Not really loving Grayson here either.

And matching chokers. Do you think that Alyson Hannigan ever said, “Hey, this outfit is ridiculous! Who wears this shit?!” lolOMG, that was just great! I don’t think I quite realised how much Willow liked beaded necklaces.
I’m thinking that when they get back to LA…things might get crazy.Oh, that doesn’t sound ominous at all.
THANKS!! I’m glad it worked. I had so much fun writing her. I was just telling wimpy (see above) how she is based on a real person; exaggerated here, of course.I didn’t know it was possible to be so annoyed by someone just by reading about them. No doubt this was your intention, so well done my friend.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Though maybe she was actually in a train wreck, with the amount of plastic surgery she’s obviously had.
…you might be on to something here.In the show, Willow does this twice. Once in ‘Dracula’ and then again in “I Was Made to Love You.’ In both, I loved the looks Willow gave Tara and vice versa…just can’t resist adorable Willow. What were you saying about awkward Willow before? Love how you recreated this. Love that Tara eyebrow. She using no words to communicate, and Willow using too many. *snicker*

You made a Glory reference in the last chapter. Is this one too?

Hopefully he will redeem himself.Seriously? Ugh. So Hunter comes from the Ira side of the family and Grayson comes from the Sheila side. Maybe he's not quite that bad. The jury's still out.
Thanks, I labored over it for a long time and I’m glad it came out the way it was supposed to.That talk between Ira and Tara, wow. That was just beautiful.
Only 8?? LOL That was awesome!! Totally cracked me up!!I’ll give this one…8 “Buxom Bleach Blonde Train Wreck’s” out of 10.

Aww, let’s not be too hard on the super stud just yet…maybe he’ll redeem himself!I guess Grayson really is a spawn of the Sheila & the milkman... Grayson dating a "local celebrity" stripper sounds like Grayson sure is from the Sheila side of the family tree...
Typical Sheila thinking.I guess Robby is Sheila's plan to "convert" Willow back to "boys town".
When Willow finds out that Sheila is behind Robby's appearance she & Tara are going to explode and I think it will be the last straw in the relationship between Willow & Sheila
They just might surprise us.Not really sure what Sheila was thinking or not thinking for that matter.I feel that things won't be pretty between between Willow and her mom anytime soon...
Sadly…she is based on a real person, lol.Okay, and Bambi Rae Swallows? So annoying!! I wanted to smack her, lol.
LOL…I had no idea what Details was either until I Googled ‘top men’s magazines.’Is it weird if I'm 29 and that I know GQ, but not Details?
Unfortunately, I don’t think he’s smart enough.I so can't wait to see what'll happen with Robby!! I kind of hope he will run away quickly to save himself
I’m sure she won’t dissapoint!!I hope to see a jealous Tara I think it will be so cute!!!!
Aww, thanks! I wish I could update more often, but alas real life annoyingly gets in the way!I so can't wait for the next update I don't think I can wait a week lol!!! I"m so glad you a writing this story it is exactly what I needed to read today!
I kinda modeled Ira after my friend’s Dad and all the stories he’s told me over the years about how his Dad would catch him doing al kinds of shit, lol.Tara and Will being busted by dad making out on the side of the house priceless. Although it was a very sexy moment before dad interrupted.
Luckily for Tara, there are 4 other kids in front of Willow and by this time Ira has realized that as long as they’re happy…It was great how Tara interrupted Ira's don't hurt my daughter speech and confessed her undying love for his baby girl.
More is revealed in the next chapter. So who is this Robby a old boyfriend maybe Willows first or just some guy (maybe a childhood friend) Sheila has in mind as the perfect son in law.

So far, you are the only one to mention it! I just watched that episode last week. One of my favorites:) Especially the end where Lily switches places with the real stripper and then tries to pole dance. Totally reminded me of clumsy Willow, lol."the Lusty Leopard" lol; I always like "expanded-'verse"r eferences, almost as much as show references.
I think poor Grayson is getting a bad rap!Grayson; Law of Averages ; with 3 brothers, all older, 1 had to be "that type." Hope he either wises up on his own or gets his head handed to him.
Me too…err, Mom that is.Ira: Hope I'm that kind of Dad when my daughetr meets "the One."
Awww…poor Grayson:( I think he may be getting a bad rap, lolCreating characters that one can love is one thing, but at the same time writing characters that readers love to hate is another. I'm from California, so we get a lot of dudes like Grayson. I wanna headbutt him.
Yes and no…see below!Okay, either that guy was Willow's boyfriend at some point or he is just a great friend. With flowers..

So true, lol.LOL, it’s hard to picture Barney as ever being sexually frustrated
I know, right?OH MY GOD, quick someone introduce this man to Neil Patrick Harris
But will she use it?At least now Willow as a little ammo to throw back at Sheila when she tries her next attempt at separating Willow and Tara.
I think every parent has one of those moments when their kid brings someone special home. I’m just hoping that someone can reign in Sheila…hopefully Ira will grow a pair.I really love the talk between Ira and Tara, it seems as if he is testing her a little.
Yes and no. I know, vague much? LolA possible former boyfriend or a wannabe b/friend?
What can I say? Sheila has issues.I've noticed that Sheila doesn't even appear to have any admiration for her daughter in any way.
I doubt it…I'm hoping that this Robby is just an old friend of Willow's and not someone who Shelia is trying to set Willow up with.
And completely based on a real person! Freightening!!!Hail to thee, Bambi the Boobsie Bimbo – Taharincess of Tacky!!! Truly a role model of the bizarre and ridiculous!
Poor Grayson…getting a bad rap already. So glad somebody is teaching that idiot some manners!
It really means everything to Tara. She knows how close Willow is to them and she’d rather be welcomed, than named as the woman that pulled Willow away. Then Ira catching them and his discussion with Tara, very touching and very lovely! I know that being welcomed into the family means a great deal to Tara!
You got that right!!And Robby . . . eager to see how this one is going to implode!

Willow shifted, sitting up straighter so she could check on her nephew,
Willow’s eyes and face softened, “I love you baby, this is our time together and I’m not going anywhere with anyone.” Willow held Tara’s gaze and then kissed her soundly
Willow Go
Willow

That was Great GO WILLOW!! Stand up fo yo woman!!
That was great, I loved that last bit. As always wonderful wonderful update on this. Willow and Robby as if! He and Sheila are completely blind if they thought he ever and I mean ever stood a smidgen of a chance with Tara's girl. Humph what nerve. I know it though. Milo and Willows interaction so sweeeet! Willow and Tara snugglin on the back porch nice recovery. Sad about Wills best friend, Im sure that really hurt her po baby :(
Sheila finally got the message, do not mess with Willow and Tara's relationship.
the ending.
I can't believe she would do that to her own daughter! Towards the end I was really getting worried that Willow would be forced into an unwanted date with Robby, thank you so much for not letting that happen!
Chapter 38: Morphibians
– here I am looking for some deep meaning to this title!
Tara remained motionless watching the scene play out in front of her and wrapping her arms around her stomach. She kept them there, firmly pressed against her sides; it was the only place they could be.

The ten seconds or so that his arms were wrapped around Willow, were the longest ten seconds of Tara’s life.

Ok, that’s it. No way this interloper is getting away with leering at my Willow like that. Tara finally shook off the initial shock, moving forward and wrapping her arm around Willow’s waist. This is my spot.
“Hi, I’m Tara, Willow’s girlfriend,” She said as she extended her hand to shake Robby’s.

Willow returned the gesture, wrapping her arm around Tara, “No Robby, girlfriends… as in lesbian, gay-type lovers.”
And Willow steps up to the plate and it’s a lesbian home run – RIGHT outta the ballpark! Love how she claims her girl!“Aunt Will, did you bring me a present from Cali…Cali...um, Cali-foamy?”
Sheila grimaced, clearly put out that Tara would interrupt their conversation, “Well, I was just telling Willow that I think it would be wonderful for Robby to take her out while she’s in town.”
“Excuse me? L-Like on a date?”
“Tara, Robby and Willow go way back. I think it would be nice for them to spend some one-on-one quality time together, just to reconnect.”
Tara noticed that Sheila chose her words carefully, just edging around the official ‘D’ word, “Oh well um, I th-think maybe that sh-should be up to Willow.” Tara was doing her best to be strong and not let the hurt show, but her emotions were getting the best of her. Oh God, what if she gets guilted into going? What if something happens? What if…?
Willow’s heart broke hearing the distress in Tara’s voice and the return of her stutter. Just as she was about to speak, Robby snickered. Realizing what he’d done, he cleared his throat and smiled weakly. That was it for Willow; her face turned red and lasers practically shot from her eyes. No one laughs at my Tara! Willow wasted no time, she took Robby’s hand and forcefully removed it from her knee.
She jumped up and placed her hands on Tara’s face. Willow could hardly believe she was being so bold in front of her mother, but her all encompassing love for the blonde and her fierce urge to protect Tara completely took over.
Willow’s eyes and face softened, “I love you baby, this is our time together and I’m not going anywhere with anyone.” Willow held Tara’s gaze and then kissed her soundly.

and showing her mom and Robby the certifiable moron just who the love of her life really is. And as for him laughing at Tara’s stutter grrrr argh. Hopefully now they’ll both get a clue and butt out of Willow’s love life.

Isn’t that the case in pretty much any family? We’ll just have to see how it all plays out!Hmmm. So Willow's family is basically 1/2 totally alright folks and 1/2 tools. Or nearly that.
Me neither, but it is kinda fun to play with.I seriously have never met anyone who would try to set their daughter up on a date with someone while she had a gf with her. I mean... never.
Big balls? I dunno, but it wasn’t “really” a date…that word never came up, lol.And Robby. Jesus. Dense much? How do you ask someone out on a date while their date is in the bathroom?
LOL, I agree! 3 minutes? Try 3 seconds! That little soccer story about Rachael being goalie and stepping aside when the ball came her way…total Jordan story. She was 5 and it was freakin’ hilarious! A moment I’ll NEVER forget! Why do they have T-ball practice for 4 year olds and who expects them to focus? 4 year old focus is ... what, about 3 minutes? They're 4!
I think she’s feeling ganged up on. She started out a little jealous and it turned when she had to face Sheila, whom she’s a tad intimidated by.It's very interesting that Tara does get insecure.
She came through, but is still a bit intimidated by her mother. I have a feeling it won’t last, lol.I'm soo glad Willow showed Sheila and Robby exactly how she felt about Tara.
I’m right there with you!! Maybe we can bonk Sheila over the head while we’re at it??And Robby laughing at Tara -- let me go get my bat. What an asshole!!
I was just telling Deb (above) that the little story about Rachael playing soccer goalie and 100% true…just substitute my daughter for Rachael, lol. I have the entire thing on tape somewhere and we still laugh about it! Soccer career: OVER. Let’s see…we’ve done dance, soccer, karate, piano, softball, archery, and are currently on violin and volleyball. So, there’s STILL hope!!!I know when my son first started playing ball, especially at that age, I absolutely loved it.

Just a few dozen?? LolSheila & Robby really makes me want to hit them in the head with a baseball bat few dozen times
I’m sure they will at some point. They were pretty young when they had him and are still trying to figure things out.I really loved their moment with Milo... I truly hope Milo's parents soon get their act together
It’s fun to see the little things being revealed.I really like the way you’re creating such a rich background to Willow and Tara’s story.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned…no family is perfect no matter what it looks like on the outside. When I was a kid, I desperately wanted to be my aunt’s daughter. I remember seeing their family pictures…always smiling, perfect holidays, etc. What did I learn? It was all superficial. So much better off where I am today. The family are a believable mixture of affection and tension.
You hit the nail on the head and are exactly right. She was 17 when Milo was born and soon left for college, so she has no idea what is “really” going on.Willow’s reaction to her nephew is sweet, but she’s away a lot and her understanding of his parents’ problems shows her inexperience.
Thanks! See what happens when you’re a parent writing stuff like this? LolWhich is exactly how people act, so the realism adds to the impact of her words.
You are probably right. It’s going well beyond the passive aggressive point.I think Sheila’s behaviour is actually making it easier for Willow.
Thank you and I agree. I think if she wasn’t a tad insecure, THEN there’d be a problem.Tara’s jealousy and insecurity are understandable.
She is and having been in uncomfortable situations with my wife’s family...I can sympathize.I think she’s holding it together pretty well in the circumstances.
Willow’s getting all large with the butch! That was Great GO WILLOW!! Stand up fo yo woman!! That was great, I loved that last bit.
LOL! I know, right? I think deep down she knows, but is doing her best to just try and come between them.Willow and Robby as if! He and Sheila are completely blind if they thought he ever and I mean ever stood a smidgen of a chance with Tara's girl. Humph what nerve.
Definitely a very cute moment!Oh Oh and how could I forget I was rootin for Tara when she put her hands around willows waist and introduced her self to Robby. GO Tara!!!
It get’s worse…see below!I'm glad that Willow and Tara knew what Shelia was trying to do by inviting Robby over. I doubt Shelia is going to turn over a new leaf and start being nice though now that Willow stood up and defended Tara's honor.
Awwww…let’s not give up on them yet!!Okay, I had some hope left for the "bad" half of Willow's family, but I see now. They are a lost case of big poopheads.
THANK YOU!!!Another awesome update from an awesome author.
She’s a piece of work isn’t she? There aren't enough words to describe what I want to do to Sheila right now.
Anyway, I hope that Sheila finally got the message, do not mess with Willow and Tara's relationship.
I don’t know, she’s pretty pig headed.A little upset, are we? lolsomeone needs to punch that sheila in the nose and stick robbie up her butt
I don't like robbie..or sheila and can't help but feel they will try and cause Tara trouble down the road with her career
He most definitely knew exactly what he was/is doing. Pretty low of Sheila in my book. I don’t think that she thinks Willow will choose him, but it’s just a tactic to try and come between them; cause strife. Maybe she thinks that if she causes enough problems that Tara will high tail it outta there. The hug, well, yes, he hasn't seen an old friend for a while but when he went down a little too far and moved the wrong way, well that said he knew what he was doing and the wink with Sheila settled things
As for Robby snickering at Tara…bastard. At some point I think Ira needs to step in, but he seems to be somewhat oblivious.Maybe "somethirdone" will speak up to Sheila after this? Or will it take more?
It’s tough being a parent, as you well know, but even worse when you’re young and inexperienced..Milo Elijah and Stella; he seems decent enough and she sounds like she's salvageable with the right steps, and open to being helped
Well, Willow is after all “All large with the butch.”Boo on Robby and Sheila for bouncing Tara back to suttering. And good on Willow for getting right in there *at the moment* to keep things on track.
I should have named him Russell, that was the asshole that used to taunt me on the bus in junior high. Ugh, just thinking about it makes my blood boil!! And you know what? When I was in 10th grade and he was a senior, he was an aide in my biology class and he didn’t even remember me. I was just someone to pick on. GRR…bastard! I’m gonna PM you because you’re gonna laugh when I tell you his last name!Once again you've named one of your characters the same name as a jerk in my life which I find completely hilarious. (Robby was the name of this older kid on my bus in middle school who used to harass me all the time).
I think you just may need to take a number here, lol.I seriously want to punch Sheila in the face
Nah, no way Willow would have gone.Towards the end I was really getting worried that Willow would be forced into an unwanted date with Robby, thank you so much for not letting that happen!
Hey, Morphibians are serious business!– here I am looking for some deep meaning to this title!

Not me!!!I mean, who can blame anyone for falling for Willow?
That’s our star athlete! She never let’s the team down! And Willow steps up to the plate and it’s a lesbian home run – RIGHT outta the ballpark! Love how she claims her girl!
Did you mean Stella?Rachel did seem very unloving
Thanks! Everyone has that first painful love they had to get through and for a lesbian…it’s usually the best friend.really enjoyed the backstory about Willow and her first lover and about Robby and how he came to be in her life. You’re rounding them out, making them more and more real – love it!
LolDamn you, Sheila! Bitch!
And having known Willow most of his life, you’d think he’d know her better by now. I think it just shows what an arrogant ass he truly is.I love how touched Willow is when Tara’s stutter returns and she’s vulnerable and Robby snickeringI . . . that fool didn’t know who he was messing with!!!!
Awww…well, I guess you’d better whip out the tissues then, cuz it ain’t over yet! They still have a week to go!This put tears in my eyes. To see Willow stand up, first in anger then with the certainty and tenderness of true love, THAT was an incredibly beautiful transformation. Perfect.
Not in Texas…it happens to us ALL the time. Well, not the flowers part, but the part where people just show up unannounced, lol. Texas is…different?Normal, intelligent people usually phone first to check and don’t just show up unannounced with flowers.
I soadore ‘take charge Tara.’YAY, take charge Tara to save the day
She had to keep up the appearance that she had nothing to do with it…didn’t work so well.feel kinda bad for Robby here, being thrown into something he knows nothing about, then when
he turns for help Sheila turns away, ignoring him and clearly not giving a shit. Bitch.
Where exactly is Sheila from?
I hadn’t really thought about that, but I’d have to say they’re all Texas born. I can’t see Sheila with any sort of accent, it’s sort of ‘beneath’ her. Elijah is a different story though; you’ll get to know him more in the next chapter.Yay Milo! He is a cutie!I just love Milo, he’s such a cool, awesome little dude.
Perhaps!I love how Tara sees Willow as a wonderful future mother, with herself as a momma perhaps.

Yeah well, as a lesbian I can vouch for the ‘first time girlfriend blues’ and you are correct…2nd time is the charm:)love how Tara sees Willow as a wonderful future mother, with herself as a momma perhaps.
LOL…welcome to the world of the large family! I know none that are ‘normal.’Holy crap, Willow’s family seem to be more screwed up than most in soap operas. You sure you’re not overdosing on ‘Melrose Place’ lol.
Woo hoo!YAY kick ass Willow on the rampage
Awww…thanks! I’m so glad you like it!I just caught up with your fic after reading for a few days and it's really great.

I think that’s how it is in real life when you’re in love and in a relationship. You have those moments of insecurity, but you trust your partner enough to know that it’s OK to have them and it’s not the end of the world.I like how you've been able to show the girls, individually, to be insecure in one minute but then they can turn around and take charge and comfort the other when needed. I think it shows how strong they can be when needed but they're not afraid to show their weaknesses either.
Maybe all of us Texans should band together and pay her a visit?? LolOh! Also, Sheila needs to be punched in the face. Repeatedly.
This one is far from innocent and like a bad penny…he just keeps turning up.Then she enlists a not altogether innocent party
These two are fairly dense and I think they may need more like a buck fifty! If Robby & Sheila need a quarter to buy a vowel & get a clue, I think Willow just tossed them one.

And here’s one of those things that’s got to be sort of awkward. I mean it sounds like a lot of Eli’s issues stem from making very little money. And then we have Tara who makes $14M+ a year. And it’s not like she can put him on the payroll as her official Texas Weather reporter or something. Like the jobs they give football players a major colleges – keeping the alligators out of the gym and things like that. It’s not like she can just be like… “Oh.. that sounds hard. Would this $40,000 help?” So it can be a sort of weird conversation.Tara nodded, “Sounds like you love what you do.”
“I do, but its sporadic work and with a wife and child…”
“I thought you weren’t married yet?”
Nice. Eli is awesome. This here’s just a blip on the radar and don’t worry none about Robby. Willow can handle him just fine, he ain’t no threat.”
Tara smiled, “I’m not worried, it’s just…”
“Uncomfortable?” Elijah answered.
Tara laughed, “Yeah, to say the least.”
Lol. I hope he feels really stupid when he sees the news and magazine covers later this week. The twins snapped a few more pictures and made a big scene; leaving Robby confused as to their reaction over the blonde.
Yeah. What a very long time to go spend at the first visit to your girlfriend’s family…Seven more days, only seven to go.
