Greetings and Goodbye

Postby knightwithoutacause » Thu May 05, 2011 12:10 pm

I only realized now that I had failed to meet everyone and say thank you for your generosity. You all truly made me feel welcome even though I did not deserve such kindness. My soulmate and everyone else even barely linked to me need to be set free from my curse, and the only way for that to happen is if I'm no longer among the living. Thank you again for all that you have done.

Sincerely,

Rune

Hey there.. hold on a minute. You can't leave.. you just got here! It sounds like you are having a rough time. Please stick around. There are several threads on the Kitten forum you can post and tell us what's going on. It helps to talk to someone. You can also join the Kitten chat and meet up with lots of cool people.

Here is a great LGBT website with a lot of info to get help: The Trevor Project

And you can also call their hotline: 866-488-7386

Please talk to someone, Rune, if not here, then call the number above.

Hi,

I echo what Kajun just said. If there's no one else you can talk to, post in the Kitten; you'll find that we're a compassionate bunch and are always willing to help out those in need. You don't have to go through this alone.

Rune,
Hey, Rune. We haven't met. But I know one thing about your situation.

It can wait.

If you can't talk to someone now, if you can't pick up the phone and call the Trevor project, it's okay.

Wait.

Wait until you after you've talked to someone.

And there are lots of people to talk to. The Trevor Project, the doctors in the ER, everyone in the Kitten forum: you're not alone.

Please. Just . . . just wait.

Rune,
Please don't leave us or this world. I know that there can be a lot that feels terrible and painful and like it won't end. But there is also so much in the world that is beautiful and miraculous. Please call the hotline above or even 911 or 211 (in some cities). Or stay here on the kitten and talk to us. To any of us.

I promise that it can get better.

Rune,

We don't know each other. Doesn't mean we can't some day.

I know it looks like nothing is going to get better right now. Or ever. You just have to tell yourself that it will. Repeatedly. We've all been/are/will be in the trenches, and we all will and do get out of them. Believe me. One of my best friends actually has serious suicidal issues...so what helps him? Friends to keep him company when he knows better than to be alone. Looking forward to walks. Looking forward to an event. Focus on something. Just one tiny thing in the day that can make that day okay.

Looks like to me you've got some people here that want to help. Why not take a small little chance and let them?

Rune,

I sent this to you in a PM last night, but I thought I'd say in here too in case you didn't see.

Hi,

My name's Laragh and I saw your post on the board and caught your message when you were in chat. Kajun is right, there's a whole bunch of threads around that you can talk to people in, but I know it can be uncomfortable maybe saying stuff so publicly, so I thought I'd let you know I'm here to talk if you need.

I'm a stranger and won't judge and I've felt the feelings you've alluded to in your posts about feeling that everyone else's lives would be better without you around. I learnt after time and talking though that it wasn't true.

The Trevor Project is a great resource as well, but you didn't say whether you were in the US. If you're not, I'm sure there's a hotline in your country where you can call if you feel that would be a better help to you.

Please don't do anything to harm yourself or try a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Dear Kitten Rune, I hope you are still with us and reading this message. I received a request from Amber Benson to ask if you would please contact her. She said she would love to hear from you and talk about what is going on. This is not a joke, I promise. Everyone who knows Amber knows she is a very caring compassionate person. I have sent you an e-mail with her e-mail address. If you don’t feel comfortable talking about whatever is going on, that’s okay. You can simply say hello and let Amber, and us, know you are still hanging in there.

We are praying and sending good vibes your way.

Hey everyone.

Is Rune OK?

do we know how how he/she's doing?

I hope everything is OK, I've been there and know how dark it can be.

Whatever is going on, I'm sending rune a little prayer and a tiny hug.

I know this was a bit ago but I think what you said may have helped this poor woman . I see she visited last on Nov 6 of 2011.
