This doesn't happen very often (there's one time that wins almost every single time....), so it felt good to get up and cheer and shout and whoop and holler (and, ahem, rub it in that one team's face).

I didn't form any strong friendships or anything, but I met some nice people (and saw I couple I already knew), had some great conversation about the show, had a good conversation with one guy about Buffy and Firefly, and got a lead on a local Joss Whedon fan club I may be able to join. It was a nice way to spend an evening, and though it may be silly I'm proud of myself for going and actually interacting, even if only on an impersonal level.
Ummm, happy thoughts here too! We always went to my grandparents house for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner...and I loved it! My grandmother would pull out the "good linen" and the "fine china." They practically wrapped us in bubble wrap so that we didn't break something, lol. Plus, we got to drink our iced tea out of wine glasses- booya!A happy feeling for me? Its Thanksgiving. I've got memories floating around in my head.
After eating, we would usually watch football for a bit and then go out and play football. Later on, as a teenager, I would hook up with my friends and go see a movie.

Happy, happy days....
I know it was cheesey but I just didnt care
) I had the pleasure of watching the cold wintery sun set and being out in the open while the moon was peeking through too, plus in my local charity shop I found this big plush carebear- my niece likes the carebears alot and the soft toys and pretty much anything carebear related is hard to come by, so I take it to the till and the woman tells me when I ask her how much it is, she says 50p, a total bargain, plus helping a charity and getting a prezzie which I know will make Poppy happy is a win win for me
Charlie doesnt need to know it came from a charity shop and it still looks brand new and has the tags on it
win win win
