Indygo, what a powerful ending that was. Loved the dream sequence in the beginning. I could totally see things playing out this way. Poor Tara, she made the only choice she could. This was a fascinating story. Thank you for sharing.

You dealt with this really wonderfully. I loved the inner turmoil that Tara was having over Willow's use of magicks and how that, in the end, was overwhelmed by her love. This is the kind of story I've been wanting to see, about that time in between Willow floundering with her magicks and then using them all the time and having some essence of control over them. That frisson in between her lacking her confidence and losing her doubts is really well explored here, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Tara fight against it. Angry Tara is what was lacking until it was too late, I think.



The dream was disturbing. Really well explored though. I loved how Giles was taking the role of comforter and then Willow looks at him and asks "Who are you?" The fact that Buffy is whispering her ear about making a choice was really quite chilling, especially with Willow catching sight of Tara and then losing her again. How prophetic. How utterly heartbreaking; talk about foreshadowing.



What a great read. I really did enjoy this. I love stories that make me think and yours did just that. Thank you.

I just have to say that this fic was truly wonderful. Right from the start, you had me hooked. You have the characters down pat. The dialogue was tight and true to the characters. And the situation was remarkably plausible in the Buffy verse. Everything fit in so nicely. And the best part of it was the insight you gave us into what could have happened in those three months before S6. To see Tara so torn about the magick and to have Willow starting to be so blase about it, it's just what I envisioned. Oh, and that dream...phenomenal. It made my hair stand on end. Nice work.



What you did here was give us a little peek into their life prior to this past season that I really hadn't read before. Also, thanks for the "Boss of Us" reference. It made me giggle because I could see Tara's face in Bargaining when she's talking about it.



All in all, fantastic job. I'd love to see more.

Great story! I just read it through from the beginning. I really liked the idea of the orb and its power to take you to one that you love. Willow's dream warning in the beginning of this part was very powerful as was Tara's discussion about magic at the end of this part. They frame the ending very well, setting us up to smoothly enter season 6's themes about the use of magic. It really helps to make Tara and Willow's actions in early season 6 make sense and gives them a greater depth.

Wow really great stuff indygo, i loved how you wrote all the conflicting emotions that went with making such a huge decision and what eventually leaded to the downfall in Willow and Tara's relationship. You wrote the characters so perfectly that is a complete credit to yourself and your writing abilities i simply marvelous effort

Hey, I thought I'd jump in here with the feedback stuff. I just read the whole thing just now, and I loved it. It's an interesting look at what was going through Willow and Tara's minds concerning the whole bring Buffy back summer. I hope you'll hook us up with another story soon.
