In Buffy’s house.
Buffy- Um, bowling?
Willow- (all excited) Yeah. It’ll be sooo much fun, Buffy! It’s Disco night at the bowling alley and they play disco music, and they have strobe lights and a big mirror ball that sparklys all over the lanes, and you can even dress 70’s if you want. Plus, you’ve already got those big hoop earings and those gold pants which would not look very good with the bowling shoes now that I think about it but to hell with fashion at the bowling alley. It’s kinda like golf don’t ya think? How they dress so-
Tara- (rubbing Will’s lower back) Honey, breathe.
Willow- (To Buffy, anxious) So?
Buffy- I dont know, Will. I kinda wanted to rest tonight, ya know?
Willow- Hello! You just came back from the dead. No more resting for you!
Tara- Uh, not winning points there, darling.
Willow- (resolve face like) I dare ya.
Tara- (to Buffy) Oh, you’re busted!
Buffy- (chuckling) You are a horrible freind, Willow! Dont know why I bothered coming back.
At the alley. (Bowlmore for the NYC kitties!) All the Scoobs are there. Even Spike. Disco music is blaring and the lights are strobing. Everyone is getting ready to bowl.
Spike- Bloody shoes are silly.
Willow- It’s to guard your toes. In case you drop the bowling ball on yourself.
Xander- (tying his shoes) Or someone throws it at you.
Anya- I like them. Very comfortable. I may just purchase a pair once I get a raise. (looks to Giles, he rolls his eyes)
Xander- Looks like shoes stuffy people use to play croquet.
Giles- I have never used such shoes!
Tara, Buffy and Dawn arrive to the lane with treats.
Dawn- Food. Cherry Mt. Dew is mine!
Giles- (looking at the computerized screen overhead) I dont understand this. It’s got graphics. Whatever happened to pencils and overhead projection?
Buffy- Welcome to the 21st Century, Giles.
Speaker- (from the lane chair) Lane number nine?
Tara- (to Willow) Honey... (not telling what is going on with them at that particular moment =)
Giles- (to Buffy) Did you hear that?
Buffy- What?
Speaker guy- (kinda like Ben Stein’s Beuller) Number nine... Number nine...
Spike- (to Xander) Hands off my fries, bloke!
Xander- Hey! You’re getting the discount because of me you bloodsucker.
Giles- (re: number nine) Sounds like the Beatles song. I thought it was Disco night.
Speaker- Hey you! Lane number nine!
Buffy- Are we lane number nine?
Giles- (looks to the lane, sees the number) Ah, yes.
Buffy- (presses the speaker button) Lane number nine reporting for bowling.
Speaker- Names. Input your names on the keyboard.
Buffy- Oh right! Thanks. (to the Scoobs) Ok, people, names. What silly names are we calling ourselves?
Xander- Bronco Billy.
Spike- Bronco Billy? Dellusional much?
Anya- Ooh! I love role playing. I want to be Debbie.
Spike- Debbie? Who’s in history’s name is that?
Anya- She’s a very famous Po-
Xander- (cuts’ her off) Um, how about Anyanka for you?
Anya- But that’s boring. I was Anyanka for 1120 years. 1122.
Buffy- Spike?
Spike- (duh) Spike.
Buffy- Willo- (she’s currently occupied with Tara’s lips) Ok, next. Dawn?
Dawn- (pointing to the other lane) There’s a dead cockroach over there.
Buffy- (rolls her eyes) Giles!
Giles- Bond. (off her look) And why not?
Buffy- (typing) Fine. I’m naming the loverwiccas Ruth and Naomi.
Dawn- Are those the Indigo Girls?
