W/T Music Vid: "I Shall Believe"

Hi, guys. I made a new Willow/Tara music video. Well it's my first actually. It's to the song "I Shall Believe" by Sheryl Crow. Fits their situation perfectly.

A long download, but definitely worth it. “I Shall Believe” is my all-time favorite Sheryl Crow song – so beautiful. And your mixing of old and new footage was terrific, as was the editing and special effects.

A very unique W/T video and a wonderful effort! I hope you plan on doing more.

That was absolutely stunning. Heartbreaking. Amazing. I have always loved that song, and felt like it was very relevant to what was going on with Willow and Tara. I was so happy to get on the board today and find that you had made a video using it.

If you are a fan of that song, which I'm assuming you are, did you happen to catch the live performance that Sheryl Crow and Pat Benatar did of it at the Lifetime Television Women Rock: Girls with Guitars concert this year? Their duet was amazing. I have been looking all over the net to find either a video or CD of it, but I have had no luck. I have a copy that I taped myself with my VCR, but I don't have the stuff to convert it into pc media files. Oh well.

Will you be making any more T/W videos any time soon...I hope? If so, would you consider using either Sweet Baby by Macy Gray or Landslide by Stevie Nicks? Just a thought.

Anyway, keep working, your stuff is wonderful! Thanks for posting.

BTW, I'll have to go check out that songs-for-w/t thread you mentioned. Maybe I'll find some ideas in there for others to do.

And I haven't seen that duet. I'd like to though. Where do you live, Italiangirl (I'm assuming Italy by your name)? I was going to say if you were in the US or Canada, you could send me a copy and I'd convert it to a video file. (you'd have to send a copy in SP for best results). I really liked that song before even. Someone had posted on another board about how it fit and I was like "OMG, it does" and decided to make a vid for it.

Actually, I do live in the US *grin* I'm a second generation girl. My family is very ethnic...speak Italian to each other ect. About my name...I'm in love with my ethnicity. *grin* Can't help it. Anyway, I would be happy to send you the tape, just tell me where. BUT, the condition would be that you have to send me back a CD with either MP3s of the songs, or you could burn them onto an audio CD. Doesn't matter. Fair enough?

BTW, there's a lot of other really great performances from the concert. If you're into womenfolk, you'll really like it. My fav. from the show was this ass-kicking version of Take It To the Limit by the Eagles, sung by the Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Nelly Furtata, Mary J. Blige, Shea Seger, and Emmylou Harris. It was like buttah.

So anyway, tell me where to direct the mail, and I'm there.

And for those who can't see it, I really am not sure what is wrong. Originally I had uploaded an .rm version but it was corrupt in both downloads that people tried. So I tried this other one. However, I couldn't get it to upload to any server, so I had to send it directly to a friend and she uploaded it to her server. So far, there have been no problems. So I'm guessing it's not the file. But sometimes when I download or upload stuff and have to resume it, it gets screwed up. Did either of you have to resume it? That might be the problem. Some files or sites resist resume for unknown reasons. They appear to be resuming, but end up corrupt in the end.

I'm at a loss for suggestions for those that can't see the video. I'd really like for you to see it. Is it possible that you can't play .asf files? Have you played them before? Do you have the newest version of Windows Media Player? If you have all that, then I don't know what else to suggest. I might put up a small rm version, but it won't be near as good quality. I can't seem to upload anything really big without it disconnecting and resuming (and that messes it up apparantly...I had to get someone else to upload this one).

BTW, I've got ideas for 3 more vids. Two are songs by Jewel. One is "Jupiter" which I saw suggested on another thread. The other is called "Dance Between Two Women" and is only a live cut (she never recorded it in the studio). The 3rd song is "Falling" by Alicia Keys.

I'll let you guys know when I'm done with each one. :-) It may take awhile for each though. I'm very picky about what I put in the vids and how I arrange it. So it ends up taking me longer than usual.
