'Series 6' Ep 14 on-line.

Postby Pezzky » Tue Jan 22, 2002 7:23 am

Hi there.
The aliens have finally released me after countless weeks of testing and probing. Happily, I am now free to release Ep 14 'Mousetrap'. Again, you will find it at http://www.geocities.com/pezzky/index.html

No teaser for Ep 15 yet. Will put it up once I finish writing it and the episode itself will be released around 2 weeks from that time.

I enjoy hope again you

P.S. Apologies for the ridiculously long fourth act.

Pezzky

Excellent as always Pezzky. The scenes are always written so descriptively I have no trouble visualizing them. Thanks again for another exciting ep.

Pezzky, do you have any alien implants? Have you checked everywhere?

Seriously, this was excellent! Glad you're back, and can't wait for the next ep.

You never disappoint Pezzky. This episode was funny and, at the same time, a little foreshadow-y. I love the way you do that. Plus, nobody has ever written Anya as accurately as you do; it's bloody brilliant.

I particularly liked the scene with Giles and Christopher - very telling and yet at the same time, rather disturbing. I think I'm starting to empathise with Christopher more and more; which is odd because I've hated him for so long. Heh.

This was worth waiting for, as all your episodes are. God, I'm gushing here, and I never do that...see? See what you've done to me? Gah, I hate you. I love you.

Thanks canadian kitty, TheWombat, Pixie, tommo, magrat, Warduke and WiccanBex.

Happy to see some new names there and the return of some old favourites

Pixie "..Pezzky, do you have any alien implants? Have you checked everywhere?"
I think I'm clean, though the radio always seem to switch on by itself and crackle out old Barry Manilow tunes whenever I walk by.

tommo "..Gah, I hate you. I love you."
Please make up your mind. I have a nice thank you card in one hand and a restraining order in the other
Thanks a lot for your feedback though. They always leave me with a warm, happy glow inside.

On another matter, a lovely little email in my inbox..

"Dear GeoCities Member,

Your web site, http://www.geocities.com/pezzky
seems to have been receiving a large amount of traffic.
Our records indicate that you're using more than the allotted amount of data transfer we provide for a free web site, which is 3 gigabytes per month (measured on an hourly basis). That means that during the past few days we had to temporarily turn your site off to keep the bandwidth within this limit."

So, if you couldn't get to my page in the last few days.. voila! Hope that didn't inconvenience anyone too much. Anyway, all the good now... I hope.

Thanks all again for the feedback. Always very much appreciated.

Pezzky, why were you so worried about that update? It was superb. I didn't find the final act long at all.

Favorite Lines:

TARA
They're gnawing through the wall!
(then thinks about it)
God, the things you get to say when
you live on the Hellmouth.

You wrote Buffy extremely well. Very witty, very, um... WhedonBuffy.

Oh and what is our dear Willow doing? Nothing bad I hope. Perhaps she's got plans to cause some deserved harm to Solomon?

episode 15 will be up tomorrow right?

Thanks again!

Epicurus - "..why were you so worried about that update?"
- I worry.. like, a lot.. about everything.
Actually, I kinda felt the whole giant rats thing was a little underdeveloped. I did all this research on rat behaviour and rat experiments on the Net and ended up using all that info in about one line of dialogue. (sigh).. oh well.
And Fink was gonna have a much larger part - some reverse experiment thing on Giles and Sasha but that got canned. Aaanyway.

"..episode 15 will be up tomorrow right?"
- That's time machine talk
Seriously, I really wish I could speed things up but, well, I seem to getting slower and slower ( as the episodes get longer and longer - I shudder to think how long 'Sacrifice' is gonna end up being as it is already well over-budget.. so to speak). Will try to shift out of 1st gear.

Thanks for liking Buffy-talk. She does usually gets the most lines after all. Heck, her name's even on the title of the show.

All things Willowy will be revealed in the forthcoming episodes.
8 episodes to go. Nearly there.

I'm a little worried by the 'Sacrifice'. You're not going to 'turn Willow into the Big Bad and have her need to use Tara's body as a sacrifice for some spell' are you?
No wait, I think Joss' already writing that plot.

Wonderful as ever, Pezzky! I've loved this series from the start and it just keeps getting better. Loved Tara and Anya in this ep especially.

If I did that, I'd NEVER get out of this board alive! Besides, the position of Big Bad has already been filled in this series

tommo - aww.. shucks.

Charlie - I think this is your first reply to my series, so.. Hi! And Thanks! Good to see another 'lifer'. Hope you'll stay for all 22 episodes.

Sorry I am so late in replying *mutters about college getting in the way* Great update Pezzky, I just love the way you write. Normally I can't read a story in script form, but your one is just so well constructed and just so damn good that it makes it worthwhile. You have the characters spot on and the storyline is just amazing that I can't wait to see how it end. so I am looking forward to episode 15

Puff - Thanks for the flattering words. Do you take VISA?
Ramble on.
Anyway, I do now realise that there are some limitations to story-telling using a script format but I try to get around it by cheating just a little (eg being more descriptive than what a script would normally call for; writing for an audience rather than for a cast/crew - ahem - that, of course, would be an imaginary cast and crew). But I do find that the script format is the best format to present the stories as if they were 45 minute episodes on TV which is kinda what I'm going for with this series. I hope everyone 'sees' the episodes running in their heads like I do.
Anyway, ramble off.
