ETA: Okay, I could be totally off here, but teasing at the back of my memory, I swear I've seen, also in Victorian literature, uses of "quim" that were referring to anal sex. Can someone tell me whether or not "quim" has been used as an all purpose orifice signifier? Heh.

but some so called 'nice' words come off sounding rather silly if said by the wrong person.

I am not offended by 'cunt' at all. I think it sounds funny. I am completely repulsed though by 'pussy'. Don't know why, always have been. When I hear the 'p' word, as I refer to it, I cringe. The one word I absolutely crack up LMFAO when I hear it used is 'snatch'. Love that word. It's hilarious to me. I think 'fuck' is a great word too. Just cos we know that they are in love doesn't mean we can't use that in smut.
