Thought I'd chime in. I had to kiss a lot of cyberfrogs, but I finally found someone to love and be loved by properly via the internet. With a little help from love@aol and yahoo personals. Heh. She had to find me twice before I consented to give her a chance, as burned on internet romance, and just romance in general, as I had become. But I did. And she did. And we do.

Oh, and I got 54% Persephone. Heh. Not that that's much of a surprise. I'm a Plutonian girl, through and through. Call me Johnneh, call me Charleh, call me Hades...

No internet love affairs in RL but a few cyber ones!

Years ago I was on a mailing list for the show My So-Called Life (remember that?). It was the most prolific list in terms of hook-ups: 4 marriages, 3 relationships now over the five year mark and two babies! I met my best friend on that list about 7 years ago.

i have met some great people online... but the best has to be my friend steve from Australia who i randomly started chatting with on ICQ over three years ago. We still email and chat often and he has come to know me better than some of my life long friends... its really weird since we both have the same birthdate and share SO MANY of the same traits it gets creepy at times!

we innocently flirt at times since we are both single and bitter at times... but it has never gone past anything else but that... how can you when he lives on a different continent?! We have plans to meet someday soon when we are both done with college... we will probably NEVER be romantically involved but he is definitely a kindred spirit...
