every time I think I'm close to remembering, 'chicken casserole' jumps into my brain. I hate it when that happens.
[/quote:42975c9336]
Man, Sass, you've got chicken casseroles in your brain? Crap, that sounds serious. You really oughtta have that looked at. I happen to know a really good brain doctor... :hmm

But--I'm sure W/T would have appreciated chicken casserole in the dorm cafeteria at some point.

And [b:42975c9336] tommo[/b:42975c9336], pie and chips? Would that be the savoury kind of pie, or the PiePiePie! kind of pie? Both equally desirable, in my opinion. :p

~Novelty, warming up the hot tub :grin

P.S. [b:42975c9336] Relativegirl[/b:42975c9336], was there roadside BBQ involved in your romantic seaside weekend? ;)

I recall our "first date" and our subsequent "first kiss". That was after a steak dinner somewhere near the airport in Hartford, CT. Our first intimate moment was the next evening after he came to my theater to see the show I was working on and gave me a dozen red roses. There was no dinner involved but the next night we had a lovely dinner at Jekyll and Hyde's in NYC. He'd never been to the East Coast before and I was playing tour guide.

I guess I'm easy too...I'd only met him the day before (although we'd talked online for 5 years).

W/T: In my mind, their first intimate moment happened at the end of NMR after Tara blew out that candle. As the action of that episode goes...I have a feeling neither of them ate any dinner that night. But there was plenty of dessert.

Whatever Willow and Tara had, I'm sure Willow's "yummy face" was more notable later! :grin

As for myself, look away Mrs. Vertigo: mine was seafood, too.

I don't actually remember the meal, but it was part of weekend getaway that my ex and I spent in Cape May, New Jersey (seaside resort town), so I'm sure seafood was consumed.

GG [i:4cde7e1bf8] I do remember what we had afterward---strombolis! (As I recall, what came before was more comical than volcanic, however.[/i:4cde7e1bf8]) ;) Out

Humm, actually, Tara did mention that 'I thought she didn't like my cooking until I realized that was her 'yummy face''. Kindda makes you wonder though, is it more likely that Willow liked or didnt like what they were eating? Coz if she did like it then, yummy face mode, Tara goes all oh dear, I think shes in serious pain and all is in big misunderstanding. If Willow didnt like it, on the other hand, yucky face ensue, Tara goes all oh god she has perfect breasts- oh wait, wrong one *whistels innocently* Ahem. I meant Tara's all o-oh, shes changing colors. Is she supposed to be changing colors? I actually really like her the way she is now, all not-green and, Willow! Are you ok? Oh, God, thatll teach me not to order out squid'

:) Just wondering.

Food & first dates,

Way back during the summer break of my first year at uni I was stuck living in the middle of nowhere otherwise know as my parents farm & a very pretty girlie I worked with asked me out for a drink.

We went to a pub round the corner from where we worked & we had a laugh butas the evening progressed I lost track of time & missed my last bus home (which was at 9.30pm)

So my then girlie decided to invite me back to hers to get a pizza & call my dad so I could bribe him to pick me up (I was sweet & inocent back then) :lol , but she'd spent all her money down the pub so she made egg & chips. Student days what fun!

Mmm. Chicken casserole.

Not so good in hot tubs though. Kind of...suffocating.

I'm not weighing in on the personal experience field... but a word on savoury fondue.

I had it once, the chef being a guy whose specialty it was (he was over from Germany). He got the perfect cuts of beef, which were cubed, and made the most incredible sauces to go with them (garlic! mustard! herb!). You then proceed to skewer some meat (still raw!), dip it in the very hot fat (oil? shortening? I forget) until cooked, then enjoy said cooked meat with sauce of your choice.

Wonderful meal, especially on New Year's Eve, when I had it...

Ruth, I take umbrage. :miff

Trust me my dear, the only person who scored more often than the Broncos that weekend was me. :blush And believe me, I remember every single time . . .

As for you lil miss NoveltyAct . . . The girl was kosher before going to San Diego. She ate shellfish for me. What, you think I was gonna push it and make her eat BBQ too? So that I could be forever remembered as the shikse that seduced her to the dark side?

But now that you mention it, I seem to recall that those pesky post-coital munchies necessitated an impromptu stop at a roadside BBQ. Sadly, a band of short butchy dykes had just cleaned the place out of cheesesteaks. [i:148b8d1583] *shrug*[/i:148b8d1583]

it's a fine line with the seducing someone into doing something theoretically against her religion.....i'm always halfway amused, half feeling bad that i did it, in a principles sort of way, not a "it's gonna convince me i shouldntve" sort of way.......heh heh heh, lobster.

You know, I've never had Lobster, Shrimp, Clams, anything like that. I've never even had a cheeseburger. When I was in Philadelphia, my friends tried to convince me to try a Philly Cheese Steak, but I just couldn't.

I'm so ready to be corrupted.

Oh and Elianna, you >so< need to find some shikse-Tara type to lure you over to our side of the menu.

Thai chicken fillets. Cheddar mash. Broccoli. Yes, I know - odd combination. But it seemed to do the trick.

Either that or my extensive charms compensated quite nicely for my lack of culinary judgement ;)

Oh god that would be the young lady that broke my heart cause she didnt want to be a lesbian, friends couldnt handle it and being catholic and all..Well i dont think we ate a meal per se, i do believe we drank it :lol

But she was so cute and sexy that if i were to wine and dine her, [b:e030b14983] it would have been at that restaurant on the beach in San Diego, by the window, with that bottle of fine wine..[/b:e030b14983]

She was italian and french so either of those foods would have been good...[b:e030b14983] Then of course that walk on the beach afterword and forget the hotel, im taking a blanket and some candles to the beach..[/b:e030b14983]

We'd watch the sunrise from there the next morning, drinking coffee from the thermos i just happen to have brought with me ;)
