You know, VampNo12, I seem to have the exact opposite problem that you do with the M's. I shut my TV off to go to dinner when the M's were up 4-1 and when I came back the lead was blown. I guess we both have reasons to be frustrated.

BTW, I'm glad you got to see Star Wars. It had it's flaws, but it was enjoyable.

Ooh, insightful psychological stuff, disguised as simple questions... Sneaky... I like ;)

1. Tea or coffee? Uh, you mean metaphorically or... :evil Coffee - definitely - streams of it, especially now in the exam period... Anything with cafeine will do really (coca cola is my ambrosia really). I tried tea to get into the whole new age spiritual mood (-> the enlightning Xena Chinese eps made me do it ! ;) ) but it just isn't me... Gimme a good glass of champagne, white/red wine any day... or just plain old beer: ah, a student's life.

2. Read the book or watch the movie ? Since I'm a literary kinda gal and a filmfreak: both (preferably the book first). I wrote a dissertation about the problems of screen adaptation, based on Lord of the Rings. Who says you can't have it both ways ? ;)

3. Vanilla or chocolate? Vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce (which is exactly what I'm gonna eat later on, if there's some left). Chocolate sprinkles are cool too.

4. Shy Tara or take charge Tara? Again I have to go with /sets in Queen-song/ "I want it all, I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now ! (yeah right, like that's gonna happen if my name isn't Willow ;) ) I absolutely love both aspects. I like characters with depth and Tara's evolution was a dream to watch (minus last part of course).

5. Hacker Willow or witchy Willow? Depends how witchy... The whole hacker saga made being nerdy wicked again, but since they introduced the Evil Troika... Also, wiccans are far out, but with the arrival of EvilWill, the Big Bad... Somehow ME is trying hard to ruin everything for us, but I refuse to let 'm. I have the utmost respect for our hacker girl, since I'm not that much of a whizz myself (unless you count e-mail and posting to the Kitten board ;) ) but magic's such an intriguing matter, and the way they introduced it, in such a positive light: I'll always treasure that.

6. Favourite item of clothing you can't live without? From a practical point of view, I'd have to go with: underwear (basic black, please). LOL No, seriously, tough question... Hmm, what shall I say: Xena T-shirts ? At this point I'd probably have to go with my black leather jacket (metal maiden/rocker chick-image, you know ;) ) because it's sort of a statement. When I was a kid (primary school), my mother didn't want me to wear a jeans jacket, because, it wasn't suited for a girl... Excuse me ?! Even then, I already had this fierce feminist streak: I couldn't understand why it was ok for a boy, but not for me, just because: you know: female. I can still remember when we went out to buy one eventually (I was 12 then). Soon it was a real trend and nobody cared anymore. Same with the leather jacket. I've always wanted one, which is weird, if you knew me back then (think shy Tara-type). Just the tougher side of me, I guess. Anyway, my dad wanted to take me on this trip to England on his motorcycle, so I had to have decent moto wear, et voila ! Ok, that was me ranting...

7. Favourite object you can't live without? TV, VCR, laptop,... anything that delivers the goods, kindles the worlds of imagination... If they managed to build me a comp that had all my Xena-eps, W/T-moments,... on it, I'd pick that. Until then, it's hard to choose...

8. Morning person or evening person? Night owl... So I'd have to go with "evening", though I did see some freaky mornings coming up... Usually it's time for me to crawl into bad then... ah well ;)

9. What do you listen to in a car? Depends whose car it is, who drives, who's in it... What music is available. Usually I listen to the radio, keep switching channels (highly annoying) until I find a song I like. Right now, I gave my dad the following CDs to listen to: Within Temptation's "Mother Earth" (metallike with gothic tinges, bit Enya-like at times) and Symphony X's "The divine wings of tragedy" (fave metal band). I'm a real music maniac. Today I bought 3 new CDs (damn, I need more racks to stack 'm, maybe make an alphabetical list...) : bargains, really: 10 Euro each: Amanda Marshall's first album (which I already had on cassette), Tori Amos' "Strange little girls" and The Indigo Girls' "Swamp Ophelia". Still have to listen to them.

10. If I looked in your pockets what would I find? "I got one hand in my pocket and... uhm the other one is typing to the kitten board... Neih, a hankey. Now my big backpack, that's something else... It's scary... I'm already famous, or infamous for it: we're inseperable... Always be prepared, huh ;)

1.Tea or coffee?
Iced tea, hot coffee. Preferably decaf, so that I don't climb the walls any more than I already do.

2. Read the book or watch the movie?
Both. See the movie first, then read the book. Then whine about how bad the movie was compared to the book.

3. Vanilla or chocolate?
Chocolate. Definitely. And often.

4. Shy Tara or take charge Tara?
Take charge Tara. Especially in that black leather jacket.

5. Hacker Willow or witchy Willow?
Hacker Willow. Smart girls are so hot.

6. Favorite item of clothing you can't live without.
My home-from-work comfort clothes: Old, faded blue jeans and a gray Birmingham-Southern sweatshirt.

7. Favorite object you can't live without?
My Disneyland pass.

8. Morning person or evening person?
Night person.

9. What do you listen to in a car?
Jill Sobule. Put the top down, blast, "I Kissed a Girl," from the stereo, and see what happens.

10. If I looked in your pockets what would I find?
So, you'd like to look in my pockets? You wouldn't find anything in them, but you'd be welcome to search as long as you'd like.

Postby Elianna » Fri Aug 30, 2002 10:59 am

Heck, I was around to answer this the first time it came, but I didn't feel like it then, and I do now. At elast, I couldn't find myself on the list, and I don't think that I answered this before. If I did, my answers are all different, probably, anyway. But not from each other, it looks like.

1. Tea or coffee?
Both. I like my coffee strong and black. I also like tea, english breakfast anytime before 8pm, and Chamomile after. I drink both without sugar or milk.

2. Read the book or watch the movie?
Both. And if I haven't read the book until the movie comes out, I usually like to wait to read the book until I've seen the movie, because the movies usually are worse, and so if I read the book I feel really let down watching the movie. But I read alot, and watch ALOT of movies, usually on tv, usually at the same time.

3. Vanilla or chocolate?
Vanilla. I used to hate Chocolate as a kid. Now I'm ok with it, but I still prefer Vanilla.

4. Shy Tara or take charge Tara?
Both.

5. Hacker Willow or witchy Willow?
I'll make an unusual statement for me, here, and say both. And I mean witchy willow from before season six, when she was actually both, anyway.

6. Favourite item of clothing you can't live without?
I don't have a single item. I have a skirt that I really like, and a few shirts, but I guess that my absolute favorite type of clothing is sweaters (I really shouldn't be living in LA). And my favorite sweater is my sister's, that I keep stealing from her.

7. Favourite object you can't live without?
Cups.

8. Morning person or evening person?
Both. I'm usually more tolerable at night, because many people can't handle someone wide awake in the morning, though, and when I'm awake, I want to DO something. Unless I had been sleeping for more than seven hours. Then all I want to do is sit around all day, so then I'd have to say neither.

9. What do you listen to in a car?
Right now, either KROQ (alternative rock) or Billie Holiday, or Ella Fitzgerald. It depends whether I want to LISTEN to music, or sing along with it.

10. If I looked in your pockets what would I find?
Depends how late in the day. In the morning, nothing. In the end, change, various bits of paper, hair band, stuff that I have no idea what it is...

11. Same day or one month late?
three months later. I'm on CST. (C doesn't stand for central.)

Tea or Coffee: Tea - I'm English!

Read the book or watch the movie: Read the book and if it interested me go and get disappointed by the movie

Vanilla or Chocolate: Chocolate

Shy Tara or take charge Tara: Hmmm - I loved the way that Tara grew - but if I had to choose I would say shy Tara as that is how I first knew her on screen. I am nostalgic.

Hacker Willow or Witchy Willow: Hacker Willow - again the nostalgia.

Favorite item of clothing you can't live without: My jacket - it goes everywhere, even though I recently had to replace it due to ridiculous wear and tear.

Favorite object you can't live without: Laptop - how else do I get the Kitten? Also it will play DVD's so I get W/T goodness on the move.

Morning person or evening person: Morning which is why I am here at 7 am on a Saturday.

What do you listen to in a car: Pearl Jam - 10

If I looked in your pockets, what would I find: Wallet.

1. TEA! Japanese green is the BEST!
2. Book, what can I say? I'm a nerd!
3. Chocolate.
4. ARGH! Can't decide! Can I just say both?
5. Hacker Willow.

7. My wushu staff! Wah, I love it! It's my baby! Althought it might get replaced in a few months with a broadsword. We'll have to see. : )
8. I'm an evening person myself. I can't stand the mornings.
9. Trance, raves, but NOT techno! Some punk rock and MAYBE some alternative. To be honest I used to love alternative (Linkin Park), then it became really popular and I HATE following trends so I kicked it. Argh, darn people stole my Linkin Park!
10. ANYTHING! Mainly coins, but I have the strangest things in my pockets. Checking mine now, I have a combination lock, a silver ring, coins, blank sheets of paper and grits of sand.Oh, and my back pocket has a book. Magic pockets. Hee hee.
