It's my Mom's birthday this Weekend, MKF

Postby Kalita » Sat Jul 27, 2002 10:01 am

It's today (Saturday), in fact. Birthday wishes to my Mom! Gelukkig Verjaardag! :bounce :love :bounce :love :bounce

Well, it's well into Saturday and no weekend thread! My goodness, what's going on? :p

Question, I guess: I know Tara no longer has a Mom, and isn't exactly cosy with the rest of her family, But how about Willow? Did she do any big birthday celebrations with her family? How about other Scoobies' parents (those who still have them)?

Or come up with your own, less-lame topic. I'm feeling open today...

Well happy birthday to your mom!
That aside, Joss seems to have a big problem (among other issues) with famililes. Celebrations dont seem big on the list.
So, if I may ask a personal question, whens your birthday, and how old are you?

Happy Birthday to your Mom Kalita :)

I think Kalita's question wasn't about Joss more about what we would want for them.. I think Family was a good party at the end, so something like that but maybe at their home with all their friends, but a lovely private celebration for our girls.. later on in their bedroom ;) :devil

Speaking of Family, I always wanted to know what Willow gave Tara, pissed me off we didn't see it :P I keep looking at the boxes wondering which one was Willow's.

Destroyer: As Xita siad, this is how OUR W&T handle things. What Joss came up with, we no longer care about, right?

As for my birthday and age... it's within the next month, you'll see soon enough. ;)

Hope your Mom has a good birthday!

I agree that family birthday's are probably not big with the scoobies. They all seem to either not get along with their parents or not have any.

Everyone have a good weekend!

Happy birthday to your mum, Kalita!

Willow would probably feel obliged to spend some of her birthday with her parents, but would be making a dash for her real family as soon as she'd got that over and done with.

It's been a real scorcher over in England today - I know, amazing - but it was great timing because it was the first home football match after the summer break for my team Aston Villa.

The day was made complete when we overcame a 2-0 first-leg deficit to book a place in the semi-finals of the Inter-Toto Cup with a 3-2 aggregate win over FC Zurich.

I know there are a few Aston Villa fans on the board so here's a few thoughts - Marcus Allback looked very sharp, Michael Boulding looked a bit out of his depth, but it was great to see them both score on their debuts.

Mellberg and Staunton looked in control at the back, and Merson made all the difference when he came on in the second half - even though he was knackered after five minutes!

Kalita: one question. Your profile said you live somewhere in Canada.... how come you congratulate your mom in dutch?

Just wondering...and also on my behalf, gefeliciteerd :p (assuming you know that too in dutch, hehe)

Happy bday to the mom

well we know that Willow and her mother don't get along to well, so probably Willow would try and please her, but her parents would end up going out with some psychologists and such, not really paying much attention to Willow.

And as for what Willow gave Tara durring Family?

We all know it wasn't wrapped, well it coulda been, but...
probably consisted of bed..and Willowhand...*grin*

Thanks for the heads-up vis-a-vis [i:5b8632b191]Bound[/i:5b8632b191].

As for Willow and Tara, methinks they got each other clothes--finding they matched each other in quirkiness that way.

Happy birthday Kalitas Mom!

As far as Scooby birthdays are concerned, I dont think big family celebrations are the order of the day. Willows not particularly close with Ira and Sheila, same thing goes for Xander and his folks. As far as Tara is concerned, we all know about her difficult relationship with her remaining family. Buffy celebrates her birthday by having Dawn shriek, get out, get out!

Hey BoredNow, great result for the Villains wasn't it? Gives me hope for the premiership!

Having a quiet weekend so far, nice and relaxing, catching up on some recording I have to do for people and some correspondence.

It was a cracking result and you should be proud of your man Stan - he had a corker of a game.

The World Cup exertions don't seem to have done him any harm at all.

I love Steve Staunton! Was a bit unsure about Marcus Allback, he didn't seem to do well in any of the Swedish World Cup Games, but he seems to have gotten off to a good start for Villa, so that's hopeful!

Hello all,

I can't believe that it has been over two months since I have read or posted at the kitten board. The reason for my prolonged absence, well I have committed the ultimate sin in the north east of England and I have move from Newcastle to Sunderland.

I have somehow managed to get my foot on the property ladder and I have bought myself a house. During the move one of my friends dropped my computer and it has been knackered for the last 2 months until I had enough spare cash to get it fixed and upgraded. At least being away from the kitten gave me chance to decorate my new home.

well I'm off to catch up with the stuff on the pens

Many happy returns to all who are celebrating their birthdays, ( it was mine a few weeks ago, I got very drunk and dragged all the people I work with round the gay village in Newcastle it was quite an experience for them & me I had a hangover for 2 days !)

Love to all

Z
