It's an Mmmmm Peanut Butter weekend, MKF!

So I'm sitting here eating peanut butter. Just peanut butter. With a spoon. From the jar. Some people think that's nasty. I think it's tasty (even better if you have some Nutella and you can mix the two).

So, do you think Willow and Tara are peanut butter right out of the jar people, or not? And if not, what's their favorite thing to spread the peanut butter on? (hey, the last daily thread didn't really lend itself to smut-filled comments, thought I'd give you an easy one here )

Just thought I'd add that nothing beats a good ole peanut butter and jelly (strawberry's my favorite) sandwich on wheat bread.

RE: crunchy vs. smooth. I happen to have both types, and initially I was eating the crunchy, which is great because there's something to chew and you get the extra flavor of peanuts, but then I switched over to smooth, and there's something about the smoothness ...

I agree that Tara would be all for the crunchy, and Willow more for the smooth. But I think that willow would want to spread it on something, like bananas, or celery, while Tara would be perfectly happy spooning it out of the jar. Oooh, how about scooping it out of the jar with celery? Damn, I need some celery.

And I think that Willow not only prefers the smooth, but can talk for a good fifteen minutes about why chunky is just plain wrong. Something along the lines of peanut butter being meant to be all buttery and smooth, and how the chunks are just distracting, because they're NOT buttery and smooth, and therefore not meant to be there.

LOL! I do this same thing with Nutella all the time. My best friend walked into my room once to see me with a container of Nutellla and a spoon and just burst out laughing at me! So, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.
I'm sure Tara eats Nutella straight out of the jar but Willow only eats it if she can lick it off Tara...

La, it's so funny that you mention it, because peanut butter was my dinner last night, too! I too like eating it out of the jar with a spoon, but I didn't have a spoon, so I used a knife.

First, may I join the chorus of "Me too!" on snuggle79's avatar. Like an alien abductee, I'm experiencing "missing time": hmmm, where did that puddle of drool come from?

I'm not much for peanut butter by itself (or the dreaded PB&J), but I love it in certain kinds of cooking.

So, I'm picturing a day a year ago (before the Annus Horribilis). Tara, Chief Chef of Casa Summers, is planning a special meal to cheer up Dawn (turning on Willow---an effortless "task"---is a bonus). She's doing a big ol' stir-fry w/ Spicy Thai Peanut sauce. And for dessert, a peanut&chocolate bar-cookie (just like Mom used to make!), warm out of the oven, w/ vanilla ice cream.

Something tells me the latter will be consummed both before and after (during?) certain "activities" in the Casa Summers Master Bedroom.

On the second day of interleague play, the M's took control of the game early on to win it in a 4-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs. The MVP of the day goes to SS Desi Relaford who accounted for 3 of the team's 4 RBI's by hitting a triple with 3 on and hitting a sacrifice fly. C Ben Davis had the other RBI. Starting pitcher Freddy Garcia (8-4), who had an outstanding day, picked up the win. Closer Kazuhiro Sasaki, who only has given up one earned run this season, got his 14th save.

Forget about peanut butter (even if it's only for a minute) What about chocolate sprinkles ? Now they're the real mean deal... I never ate Nutella with a spoon (cool to find out my favourite "choco" 's distributed in a lot of countries, though ) But I did use one to scoop up delicious sprinkles... What can I say: this student ran out of food again... And what do you do when there's no bread left... Go to the store ? Neih...

Anyway, "sprinkles" , what a peculiar word... "To sprinkle"... He, he, I can already see W/T sprinkle them all over each other, causing that tingly, ticklish feeling... + it's not as messy... Yeah, I lost track of how many times I watched Snuggles avatar cycle through so I could see Amber lips. Lord, that woman has some fine lips. I dont think Ive ever stared at anyones lips that much. heehee

Well, Im not just here to talk about Ambers body parts, Im also here to bitch. They towed my car today. My parking permit expired a few days ago and I walk out this morning and the car is gone. Now I have to hitch a ride down to the lot tomorrow and fork over $120 I dont have to get it back. Youre peacefully sleeping in your little bed and they come and take your car away. I felt very violated. Now my little car is sitting on some strange lot wondering where I am.

So I came here to look at Amber lips. And yes, somehow I feel better.

Oh my god. That sounds so good. I haven't seen any Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut cream in Korea though. Good thing I'm going to Maui for 10 days next week - and since I'm staying at a hostel with a full kitchen, guess what I'll be trying when I get there!

Speaking of sauces using peanut butter, one of my friends just made mole the other night. Yum. Peanut butter definitely makes a good sauce!
