The article is extremely well written. Unforunately I live in the US of A and doubt I'll be able to get a copy for my personal reading pleasure but I read the transcript and rock on you. I give you the kitten solute!

Great work, MM! Concise, yet passionately stated piece.

After perusing tonight's postings on the Clich thread, it boggles my mind that ME's wordsmiths, whose JOB it is to convey meaning with their writing, are so incapable of understanding the message their writing sends.

This is very cool. In the past Diva has been criticised for not featuring TV lesbian characters and couples - which a lot of their readership are interested in. Glad to see they have corrected that, and that they have picked up the point about the lesbian cliche in Buffy - and with a vengeance!

Congratulations MaclayMagic!

Nice article, but the best thing about it! That even months after Tara's death there are articles still being written and - in this case- published!! Congrats!!

Excellent really.

Anyone know how big Diva's other European exposure is? I mena they are just now getting Season Sux in Germany.

Here is a bit on MM article from Diva's homepage, near the bottom.

Congratulations on a well-written article. You achieve a really effective tone of being furious yet reasonable. It states all your points convincingly and points out the wider negative cultural reverberations of what Joss & co. did. Excellent job.

And it made me miss Tara even more, which I thought was impossible. :)

Just read the scan of the article. Very nicely done, MM. Someone I've been corresponding with emailed me this morning and mentioned the article, and didn't know it was by a Kitten. Hee. I rather gleefully informed them of this.

And as for the mainstream gay press finally publishing an article stating what is so obvious to all of us and has been all but ignored by so-called media watchdogs? About frigging time.
