Was it just me or in the confrontation scene with Anya, Xander, Spike and Buffy did Anya look like strangly old or something? there was just something about her that looked worn, but not in a "I just had sex way". Maybe it was just me.
Its almost Friday, the show aired on Tuesday and I'm still reeling from that kiss! Definitely the hottest kiss on television. I think its about damn time that we saw a kiss full of passion from those two! We got the comfort kiss in "The Body", the two cute love kisses in "Becoming" and "All the Way", but this was a full on I miss you passion kiss. I think I'm gonna go watch it again. Thank god I taped it on two tapes! And now I gotta go check out that Anya stealing the coffee and Willow tongue thing.

I haven`t got sky have to rely on my parents taping it for me and then sending it up for me to watch! The thing is I have to wait until the tapes full before she sends it which means i`m going to have to wait another 2 weeks before I can see it! ARGH!

Whats with the crappy make up recently, Anya looks like she just stayed in the bath to long!

Willow tongue I missed that, yup going to have to watch it again. Oh the torture.

Well UKers, we got the full version of the kiss! I was very nervous beforehand, as I knew how pissed off I would be if they cut it but Sky came through!

Did anyone notice the bad quality? The sound was awful.

But the episode......excellent. It was shot like a soap, lots of head shots, no action past the credits, lots of talking. And an Anya-centric episode! Finally! Emma deserves more screen time, she is a class act.

I am glad that the Xanya issues were finally addressed. For a supposedly "straight up feminist show" I for one, always felt uncomfortable with Domesticated Anya. When she admitted to Spike that she had always feared that she loved Xander more than he loved her, my heart broke for her - that must be an awful thing to admit to yourself. I welcome the return of a sassier, more independent Anya, she needs to work on herself for a while, kinda like Tara did.

I am glad she took Xander to task outside the Magic Box, dear lord, Xander has sunk to an all time low in my estimations. When he told Anya that it "made him sick" to look at her, I was so angry, I am sick of his self righteousness.

ANYWAY back to the good stuff. Wow, Tara's positive character progression just goes from strength to strength. I love it when she talks all fast and witty, as it means she is in a situation in which she is totally comfortable, she doesn't have to deliberate on what she says. And now she has gained the self confidence to be comfortable in most situations, bless her. That "and unofficially?" was totally not how I expected it to come out, Amber & Aly (little tongue!) nailed this scene.

And what can I say about the kiss that hasn't already been said? Oh yeah - More Please!

Finally, gay Andrew - was this a one off joke or should we make something of this? Am I right in thinking there have been no other allusions to his gayness before?

Actually, Willow shows her tongue again just before the end of the shot. She doesn't really stick it out , it looks like it's pressed against the back of her teeth.

Absolutely one of the best episodes this season. It seemed as though everyone had finally slipped back into the comfortable groove of being together! To Shellybean: I too thought Anya looked oddly older in the last part! I have heard that life changing stressful events age a person, but that may have been a little much!

I seem to remember something back in the episode where Buffy gets drunk (Life Serial?), when the boys were in the van and there was something about "you know what your homophobia says about you?" that I believe was directed at Andrew. Who knows if ME would actually develop anything or if it's just sort of a joke.

I think the "Andrew is gay" thing is just boorish macho humor, like the stuff about Jonathan's "magic bone." No subtext.

The kiss was so totally overdue, however many seconds it was it was totally worth it. I gets my vote for best on screen kiss ever.

I thought the funniest scene in this ep was Willow telling Tara about the scooby adventures she missed.

Someone was wondering in an earlier post about the Spike/Halfrek encounter at the Magic Box and why they didn't recognize each other. I think the writers either forgot or the two of them decided to pretend they'd never met. I would have LOVED to have seen the conversation between them, though. That would have been a hoot.

I found it odd that the Scoop Me review excuses Xander for always doing or saying the wrong thing claiming he's just immature while at the same time praising Willow and Tara for being so mature and working through their problems. Hello - aren't they all the same age? Like, grow up already.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for Xander- if he wanted to be a dolt and live in his parents' basement forever that's fine, but involving Anya in his lameness and backing out of the wedding was inexcusable, unforgivable and irredeemable, IMO. She didn't hold a gun to his head and she wasn't the one to walk out. I was glad Anya called him on being immature. He had no right to criticize her for consoling herself with Spike; it was absolutely none of his business. And on top of that he was all judgmental with Buffy. He needs a good getting his ass kicked. Dawn acts more like an adult than he does.

OK, so I was watching that last scene for a 5,000th time maybe, and there was a dress hanging on a door of Willow's room when Tara came in... Is it just me or it's the same dress Willow wore in OMWF?
Not that it will necessary mean anything even if it is, except maybe indicating they've sort of came full circle...

Just thought I'd comment on the Sky re-run on saturday. No cuts, I thought they would cut the A/S bonk-fest, but no... and no cutting of that W/T kissing scene.

So its hats off to those people at Sky for keeping things whole, even for the 6pm re-run.

I was so courious about this that I contacted a friend of mine who does get most (if not all) the wildfeeds off her satilite.

She confirmed that there is 5 seperate wildfeeds of Buffy per week. (different days and times as well as channels) So what the hell does this mean?

The heck if I know what it means. All I know is there is 5 seperate feeds going out over the air waves.

Yes, but four of those are the syndicated reruns. There are two different syndication packages, and each has two wildfeeds. I get that info here. So the new Buffy ordinarily only gets one wildfeed per week.

I watched most of the ep 4 times on Saturday (we just got back from NY on Thursday and I was checking the tape only to find that NTL had put a bleeping big pink update window on the screen and of course we weren't home to 'ok' it so it was there thru Buffy and Angel and every other show we recorded!)

Anyhoo, I was couldn't turn it off even tho I couldn't see all the picture.

In the scene where the Lame Gunmen are caught by Willow with the camera stuff, and the guys tune into the Magic Box and see Spike and Anya, I'm sure Warren says.. "What's that, porn?", in the first showing but on the Saturday rerun it's just cut to "What's that?". Did anyone else catch it or was I just in a jet lag haze and picking up stuff not really there !

Hats off to Sky anyway, for giving us the good stuff

So, way back at the other Kitty, someone clever came up with the idea of translating dialogue online and then translating it back. Which was very amusing. So I had to play and see what happened to the Entropy dialogue. I left out the last scene though. This was into Portuguese and then back again.

about this ep beside amber's adorable looks during the hallway scene, expecially when she turns for her "unofficially", was the end kiss. of course everyone's brought it up how sexy and hot and loving and all that. agreed. but what i loved about it and i haven't read 11 pages of discussion, my bad i know, was the way it was rushed at first and then it slows down.

i've seen it about ten times now, i know i'm not worthy of kitten obsession just yet but, i absolutely loved the way that was done, whether on purpose or it just happened that way. you feel the rush they have to get their lips/hearts/souls back together and once they realize that it's happening they slow down. and aly's hands on amber's neck, her little thumb traveling... sigh...

oh and i'm talking about the long kiss from the wildfeed.

I agree Rane018. That's actually my theory why they cut the last couple of seconds off. It was too hot (in their tv network minds). The whole kiss was exceptionally wonderous, but the last couple of seconds had some extra slow burning heat to it!

two observations i made tho'... in The Body, it was Willow who did all the talking b4 Tara kissed her to comfort her. now it's Tara who did all the talking and it was Willow who kissed her to comfort her.

second, as for Willow hugging Anya when she arrived, Tara held out her left hand to Anya's right, so it wasn't only Willow who did the hugging. Tara reached out as well w/c means she really was worried and was glad Anya's back. pax
