I must have been fixated on the hotness of Willow the first couple times I watched the this scene, because I didn't notice until today that when Tara's coming out of class, she's talking to herself. It's so adorable! Who *doesn't* think out loud after a class? Or maybe she expected Willow to be there and she was practicing. Either way, it's another example of Amber's brilliance in that role. I hope hope hope (against hope) that she's not really gone.

Don't know if this is really all that significant, or if it's already been mentioned, but I think it's interesting that the UPN summary for Entropy took Greenberg's comment from the script ("It is intense. It is passionate. It is, above all else, love. Truly and forever.") and included it as the closer for the summary. FWIW.

Hmmm ... wonderful moments ... Let's see, I vaguely remember something at the end.

I just DLed and rewatched OMWF, and the little Spuffy thing at the end has nothing on the W/T kiss at the end of Entropy. Both were supposed to be show-ending Big Romantic Moments, but the Spuffy kiss just didn't strike me as ... well ... romantic. Not at the time, and definately not now. OTOH, the Entropy kiss was the best ever on TV. Any couple. And the unedited version was heart-stopping.

You're right about the Spike and Buffy kiss. It was a big Hollywood smooch type thing that was supposed to be dramatic. Romantic? Nuh-uh.

Willow and Tara in Entropy? That was hold-your-breath wowful amazement.

My favorite W/T moment of the episode (besides the kiss, obviously!) was a the beginning when Willow was explaining why she was waiting around for Tara. I loved the way Tara turned to Willow and gave her trademark grin as she said, "Unofficially?". It was just so cool.

You know and that is a perfect example of an actor making the script so much better. We'd seen the lines from that scene for months, but her making it real, in that way. Beautiful.

Absolutely my favorite bit, the head twirl, she is gorgeous I love that line. Hmmm, they are both so awesome in that sequence.

Totally, I love the way Tara leans in toward Willow when she says, "I'm free tomorrow," with a hopeful lilt in her voice, and then gives the crooked smile.... Sigh....

I thought this was interesting, that the definition talks about enclosed energy. That could be seen as the energy/chemistry still between Willow and Tara, or the magickal energy that will always be a part of Willow no matter how hard she fights it. What does everyone else think?

OK, so like I've got Buffy on in the other room just because I thought I might wander in and watch the [i:a17528a7d8] Entropy[/i:a17528a7d8] kiss for, I dunno, the kajillionth and third time when I noticed something REALLY weird. And damn it my tape was not in the VCR to record. Remember the big dustup when [i:a17528a7d8] Entropy[/i:a17528a7d8] aired about them cutting 4 seconds or so off the kiss? Well guess what. Those four seconds were back in all their glory. They aired it unedited just like the wildfeed version we saw that clued us into the cutting of the kiss. So actually tonight's repeat had the whole damn thing in it. Just so you folks on the west coast know.

Thanks for the heads up Autumn I'm pleased to see that they are going to air the extra 4 seconds this time. Now if only I can stomach the way through watching the season 4 episode on FX right now at least Willow looks cute in armour.

I'm looking forward to watching the college hall part at the beginning as well as I think it's my second favourite part of the episode.

Yeah, I was taping an extra copy of Entropy and I thought -'Hey! that was the whole kiss!' Very cool! Nice to have some good news for a change.

Just got thru watching the "whole" kiss and holy moly i loved it, recorded it for posterity sake..I guess i should wander off to the angry rant thread cause it just pisses me off that W/T will no longer be..

I so loved that final scene, thought Amber and Aly were both awesome in it..The dialogue and the acting was outstanding..

But then there's Joss who decided to fuck it all up for the sake of his fucking story arc..Grrrrr, ok better go now..But i did love the extra kissage

OTHER than how that TOTTALY just made my day and night and probably week to see that (even tho i didnt know ahead of time to retape it, whatever, i know i'll have th dvds the second they exist) it was not only the most scrumdidliumptious addition to my evening, but it also just made the whole ep feel better. even if i step outside of my obsesed amber and alyson fan shoes. just directorially speaking, the extra four seconds made the scene work better. it had more flow. when youre editing theres this moment in every scene you can *feel* exactly when to cut it, and [i:566e5a4bd2] this[/i:566e5a4bd2] was the appropriate cutting. oh yes. for MANY reasons.
i'm so happy. it's rediculous.

It is from the wildfeed of the original episode. It aired cut in the US but we had the wildfeed mpg. Now the rerun is airing in its full form.
