[b:1de0cf3c6a] This is a collection of creative efforts dealing with the Bad News of Tara's death and Willow's dark turn[/b:1de0cf3c6a]

To the melody of "Going Through The Motions" from OMWF

They Won't Kill Off Tara

Every single Tuesday, we all get giddy
Sit down on the couch, and cry
Suddenly, isnt that a pity
Joss has lost its mind
This dude is oh so sly.
Weve been having trust, now hope he might combust
Our faith about to rust
Hoping that

They wont murder Tara
That they leave her alone
Who could dare to touch our lovely witch?
We were always there, suffering with her
Brain-suck, what a torturous time
Lets hop off the bus and be aware,
this might be a scare
leading just nowhere.
They do pretty well with angst and such
But now I dont hope much
That

They wont murder Tara
As a plot device
Making all our dreams somehow to
Dust
Willow turning bad, this cant be
Tara shot, we dont want to see
How could they do that?
Without me.
Cuz I doubt now forever

That they won't murder Tara.
Killing the shows soul.
Ill throw my stuff away
I guess they were too gay
So finally I say:
Nooooooooooooooooooo!

We all have our ways of dealing with bad news, don't we?

It's a little play on Intervention. I call it:

ANNIHILATION

Open on Ruth at the Kitten Board. Throughout the ensuing scene we see the Ultimate Spoiler Source (USS) through the flames directed against the poor messenger who brings spoilers to the board, sometimes obscuring her entirely.

RUTH: I know you. You're the Ultimate Spoiler Source.

USS: This is a forum. I am the guide.

RUTH: I have a few questions ... about being a Willow/Tara shipper. What about...love? Not just girlfriend love. But you know, lesbian gay type love. The flaming 'o'. Goin' downtown. Levitation?

USS: You think you're losing your ability to hope in the relationship.

RUTH: I-I didn't say that. (sighs) Yeah.

USS: You're afraid that being a spoiled kitten means losing your innocence.

RUTH: Does it?

USS: You are full of spoilers. You're in denial with all of your soul. It's brighter than the fire...blinding. That's why you pull away from it.

RUTH: (surprised) I'm full of denial? I'm not losing it?

USS: Only if you stop reading spoilers. Supporting tv lesbians is pain, and the kittens forge strength from pain. Be in denial...spread it around...never stop hoping. Risk the pain. It is your nature. Reading spoilers will bring you to your gift.

RUTH: (pause) What?

***

Cut back to Ruth still reading spoilers on the Kitten Board.

RUTH: I-I'm sorry, I, I'm just a little confused. I'm full of denial, which is nice, and...denial will lead me to my gift?

USS: Yes.

RUTH: I'm getting a gift? Or, or do you mean that, that I have a gift to give to someone else?

USS: Bitterness is your gift.

RUTH: Bitterness...

USS: Is your gift.

RUTH: Okay, no. Bitterness is not a gift. I found out that Tara dies. I know this. It's from a reputable spoiler source! If I have to kill trolls on the board with my bitter posts because it makes the Kitten a better place, then I kill the trolls, but it's not a gift to anybody.

The Ultimate Spoiler Source is obscured by the flamers on the board, following the release of some more spoilers into the thread. The spoiler thread grows by ten pages in thirty minutes.

USS: Your question has been answered.

She, as well as the spoilers, disappears. All that's left is cold endless weeks of reruns. Ruth frowns in confusion.

RUTH: That's not an answer. That's...that's a cop out. It's meaningless! I come here day after day and I post and I post and this is what I get for it - (stops herself) Ooooh...(realisation dawns) So that's the bitterness...

------------------
You know I've been through hell...Joss can't you see, there'll be nothing left of me. You made me believe...

OK, I resisted as long as I could. What can I say, I'm weak. :-p

This is to the tune of 'We Like To Party!' by The Vengaboys.

We don't, we don't believe it
We don't believe it
We don't, we don't believe it
We don't believe it
We don't, we don't believe it
We don't believe it

They've got something to tell us
Some cruel news for you
Gonna put some bluffs in motion
Get ready 'cause they're fooling you
Hey now, hey now, here's what I say now
Happiness is just around the corner
Hey now, hey now, here's what I say now
We'll be there for you

The Scullybus is coming
And everybody's jumping
From Kittens to Spoiler Hos
We won't give in to false woes
We wheel out our theories
On how to save the series
So don't kill Joss and Marti
Just come and join the party

We don't, we don't believe it
We don't believe it
We don't, we don't believe it
We don't believe it

Hey now, hey now, here's what I say now
Happiness is just around the corner
Hey now, hey now, here's what I say now
We'll be there for you

The Scullybus is coming
And everybody's jumping
From Kittens to Spoiler Hos
We won't give in to false woes
We wheel out our theories
On how to save the series
So don't kill Joss and Marti

Well, with much apologies to Shakespeare, i hereby present a new take in Sonnet 29.

When in disgrace with Fortune & Naysayer's news
I all alone beweep my spoilered state.
And trouble kind kittens with my bootless cries
And look upon myself and curse my spoiler reading habit.
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope.
Featured like the unspoiled, like those who know no sadness.
Desiring this kitten's hope and that unspolied kittens happiness.
With what I used to enjoy most, contented least.
Yet in these thoughts Mutant Enemy almost despising!
Haply I think of Season 4 and 5 and specific lines.
Like "yours" and "I will always find you" sound like hymns at heaven's gate.
For Willow and Tara's sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

I know I am just a Blessed Wannabe but I have to comment on this thread. To continue with the Shakespeare post of Jomarch, I reply: To sleep, perchance to dream.

We can never give up the dream. I, personally, have just found this site and have posted some poems. These are the first things I have written in 8 years. I was in a very dark place and found you all. Thank you.

We must never give up the hope that Tara and Willow will be together forever. We also have to remember this is BTVS and miracles do occur.

I have walked in the shadows and watched the mortals.
I have dreamed of my Goddess and found her there.
I have touched the inner beauty of her soul and found mine.
I will not walk alone on this path.
I will hold her hand until the end of time.
If she is lost, I will find her.
I will always find her.
For she is my girl.

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the bord well I read the fic here all the time but this has got my attention. I mean I *don't* want Tara to die (Like all of you here) I know you've been hearing this everywhere but you can't be sure that the spoilers are true till you see them. I mean I was up set when I first read them but then I asked some people about this and well they said you shouldn't believe it right away. I mean wait and see.. I have hope that it will not happen, I mean everyone knows that Amber Benson is a huge part of the show and everyone on the show.

In our loves flame that lasts
Forever. Eternal and undying.
Changing and evolving.
We draw strength when we stumble
And keep our path clear.
A Passion that cannot die and
Hope that will always be,

I did not write this, I don't know who did.
It was on the General Spoiler thread, but I felt it should go here. It appeared on a website, A Candle for Tara, I don't know where or the URL.

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Tell Dawn her stand-in mom will not be coming home,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the Scoobies come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message 'She is dead',
Let Buffy and Spike pause in making their forbidden love,
Let Xander and Anya take off their boxing gloves.

She was Willow's North, her South, her East and West,
Her working week and her Sunday rest,
Her noon, her midnight, her talk, her song;
We thought their love would last for ever: we were wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

with apologies to W H Auden

I have no ability to express myself in prose. I envy those who can. But I can express myself with other people's words.
I was motivated by the poem above.

Here is my contribution, thanks to Jimi Hendrix.

The Wind Cries Tara

After all the vamps are in their boxes
and the Scoobies have all gone to bed
You can hear saddness staggering on down the street
footsteps dressed in red
And the wind whispers Tara

A broom is drearily sweeping
up the broken pieces of yesterdays life
Somewhere a queen is weeping
Somewhere Willow has no wife
And the wind, it cries Tara

The traffic lights, they turn, uh, blue tomorrow
and shine their emptiness down on her bed
The tiny island sags down stream
'cause the life that lived is, is dead
And the wind screams Tara

Will the wind ever remember
the names it has blow in the past?
And with this crutch, its old age, and its wisdom
it whispers 'no, this will be the last'
And the wind cries Tara

Here's a little tribute to our couple -
Disclaimer: Most of the lyrics aren't mine and I'm not making any money on this I swear - those bloody bastards!!! Um, I meant the Girl Guides kinda swearing ...

Missing You

Yeah, for Wil and this goes out to everyone that has lost Tara, who they truly loved
Cmon, check it out
Seems like yesterday she used to rock the show
They were loving each other till they stopped the flow
Hey Joss now where do we go?
Youre Notorious we got to know that
Life aint always what it seems to be
Words cant express what they mean to me
Even though shes gone, theyll still a team
Theyll be a family and fulfil our dreams
In the future, cant wait to see
If Amber guests back on the screen
Reminisce some time
The ep they took Tara
Try to black it out
But it plays again
With all this grief its hard to conceal
Cant imagine all the pain we feel
Give anything to hear half her breath
We know shes still living her life after Death

Every step she takes
Every movie she makes
Every single day
Every time we pray
Well be Missing her

Thinking of the ep
When she got shot
What a life to take
What a bond to break
Well be missing them

Miss you Babe

Its very hard with her not around
But we know shes in heaven smiling down
Watching her while we pray for them
Every day we pray for them
Till the end where theyll meet again
In our hearts is where we keep our friends
Memories give us the strength
We need to proceed
The strength we need to believe
Lame Storyline I just cant define
Wish we could turn back the hands of time
To ep 18 where they really kissed
And now look Joss how theyre really missed
Made a hit
Stages we received them on
Still cant believe shes gone
Give anything to hear half her breath
We know shes still living her life after death

Every step she takes (Go Amber!!)
Every movie she makes (Well watch them!!)
Every single day
Every time we pray
Well be missing her

Yeah, yeah
Thinking of the ep
When she got shot
What a life to take
What a bond to break
Well be missing them

Somebody tell us why
Why in that ep Tara had to die?
We hope well see her soon

Every night we pray
Every step we take
Every move we make
Every single day
Every night we pray
(Continued on repeat)

Every ep that passes
Is another step closer
To seeing her again
We miss you Tara

And we wont stop
Cause we cant stop

We miss her
We miss her
We miss her
We miss them

We miss you Tara

Every step she takes
Every movie she makes
Every single day
Every time we pray
Well be missing her
Yeah, yeah

Thinking of that ep
When she got shot
What a life to take
What a bond to break
Well be missing them.

It's called: SOB: A Tara death Parody Medley
To the tune of Fire and Rain

IT's Tuesday evening, I just saw you are gone
Tara, those writer dicks put an end to you
I cried out my tearducts, and I got really drunk
Now I can't remember what i had for lunch
They've done Glory and the gentlemen
You've had your brain sucked and your memory erased
You've been rumored to die for the past 2.5 years
but i never thought they'd do this to you

To the tune of Bridge Over Troubled Water:

When I first heard it, I was feeling dead
and tears were in my eyes
the kittens dried them off
times were rough
the kitten was in chaos
like a bridge that had fallen down
we were torn apart
to the tune of American Pie:
A long, long time ago
I can still remember how those spoilers used to make me laugh
and I knew if they had their chance
that I could see those witches "dance"
and maybe they'd be happy for a while
but part 8 page 2 made me shiver
with every post it just got grimmer
bad news 'bout our girls
i couldn't take one more whirl
I do remember that I cried
when I read about our "Big Bad" Red
something stung me deep inside
the day that Tara died

So bye, bye Miss Tara Maclay
drove my browser to the spoilers but the spoilers were sad
them good ole boys were on the Sceptical Bus
singin' Tara's not the one who'll die
Tara's not the one who'll die

*shameless promotion of my poetry, hehe*

No really, you guys need cheering up! So here's something I wrote during S4; hope you like!

"Be Mine"
By Amber
I do not understand what it is I feel,
Do I dare to try?
Can I put a single name on something so nameless?
So wonderful, and painful, and eternal?
Can I give that thing a name?
Will I always be wandering round and round your heart?
Always guessing why we stay apart?
Do you not love me?
Do you not care?
How should I put this; should I even dare?
Is my affection returned; is it even there?
Maybe I just miss him; maybe I'm unaware.
Something empty, for what I thought was an eternity, has been filled,
Since you came into my life, I knew what it meant to be truly loved.

I'm staring into your eyes right now; I have just given you a note;
We sit across from each other on this bed of lies right now,
Will you answer or will I be smote?
Answer me please; I don't know how much longer I can bear,
Those thoughtful eyes staring into mine,
Asking me what is going on.

I wait.

Then, in a whisper, soft even for you, my dear,
You answer, with a little tear,
In the corner of your eye,
"I love you, Willow; will you be mine?"
The End

*shrugs* Hope that brought some smiles! =)

i wrote this and i don't know if it makes sense... i needed to write something.

They've been playing with our hearts
I know death is around
As always
And it's me crying
A body, a lost soul drowning in the sea
Anger in my veins
I'd do whatever it takes to stop the pain
I wanna close my eyes
Anf fly
Searching for the real you

My words are meaningless
Their thoughts already killed me
I feel it
Death is around
And i am nothing
I can't stop it
It might be over...
I will close my eyes
And just imagine
How your blue eyes light our sky.

Okay, here I go. I wrote this a long time ago, in a darker place. I was encouraged to post it here, so hope you understand.

Tapestry

Quietly now I'll take my leave
And be a part of the tapestry we weave.
With thread in hand I will travel.
While my own personal tapestry I will unravel.
There is nothing left behind of me.
For I will leave nothing behind of me.
Because of my departure, no tear should be shed.
A hint of laughter will do nicely instead.
Think of my tapestry with what your memory does hold.
Keep it only as your own and of me listen not to what you are told.
For the memory of my tapestry is yours alone.
For my tapestry is me and all that I have known.
With thread in my hand my journey is about to begin.
Start your memories now for my tapestry won't be seen again.

Feeling sad now kittens Later

Okay, gang. I think what we need here is something a little more upbeat (given as we've upgraded from the Denial Bus to the Everything is Going to Be Fine! Bus

To the tune of Cheap Trick's "Surrender"

Willow told me, yes she told me
Some things just aren't true
She also told me stay away
You'll never know what you'll see!

Just the other day, I heard of
Kittens fallin' off
Some BSDian junk, that's goin' rounnnndah!

Willow's alright, Tara's alright
They just seem a little weird
Surrender, surrender
But don't give the game away
Heh-hey
Hey

Tara says that Willow's right
She really knows the tale
Before we married Willow served
With the Scoobies in Sunnydale

Now I had heard the Scoobs recruited
Geek nerds for the war
But Willow isn't one of those
I've known her all these years

Willow's alright, Tara's alright
They just seem a little weird
Surrender, surrender
But don't give the game away
Heh-hey
Hey

Whatever happened to all those spoilers
We laughed at all last year
Everytime I want to view them
Then they disappear

Then I woke up; Wil and Tar
Are rollin' on the couch
Wiccan sex & doin' sex spells
Got the flamin' candles out!

Willow's alright, Tara's alright
They just seem a little weird
Surrender, surrender
But don't give the game away
Heh-hey
Hey

(Away)
(Willow's alright, Tara's alright
They just seem a little weird)
(Away)
(Willow's alright, Tara's alright
They just seem a little weird)

Hey everyone.

I know we are all spoiled, and not in a good way.

So, I wanted you all to check out the webpage that is going up in place of my normal one after the dreaded episode airs.

The temp link is http://www.xtreme-gaming.com/theotherside/taratrib.html

But it will replace my index page.

I hope it is not too cheesy. But I HAD to do something.

My site gets a few thousand hits a week, but I'll a bit of track code to see who is visiting it and from where.

Don't let anyone outside of the spoiler world see it yet. We would not want to spoil them yet.

Ok i'm not a poet (but i already know it) So please dont kill me if i've gone and made some major poetry mistakes, this is just what came to my head as i was typing.

I'm such a silly fool, not knowing what I was getting into
I clicked on the new thread, and found out TARA IS DEAD?!?!
What the fuck? Just my damn luck!
I stay pretty much spoiler free, all but what Rhiannon has told to me
I like the surprise, really, I wont lie
Yes I read the warning, but hell sometimes you gotta throw caution to the wind, and dig right in
Didn't even watch the show, till I saw the "Flameing O"
Now what will I do? (if it's all really true)
Just hope and pray? Thinking Joss would never do me that way?
Will I cry, when I see her die?
Is a ducks ass water tight? How the hell can Joss think this is right?
This just isn't fair, like in Tabula Rasa when they gave her *that* hair!
I love my Willow. (she is *MINE* you know?) But without Tara this just cant be so.
Clicking on this thread, has made me wish *I* was dead
Now what shall I do? Ohh I know, I'll become a "Spoiler Ho" too!

Hehehe. Great poem, TrueXena. And welcome to spoiler 'hodom. I really do feel kinda bad for the spoiler-free folks. This is gonna blind-side them (not that it didn't us too, but those of us who are spoiled at least have a bit of a heads up and time to adjust to the idea.)

Garner -

Thank you for another beautiful story. I can really see an improvement in tone during the conversations between W/T. Also, I enjoyed the action of the fight - very well blocked out.

Web Warlock -

Love the page. Yor insights are always spot on!

Nice work on your webpage, Web Warlock.

Sorry, I know this isn't technically creative, but I don't know where else to post it since it deals with spoilers:

I've thought of creating a web page before, but never felt strongly enough about something to do one. I think I do now, though. After visiting other boards in the wake of these horrible spoilers, I'm of the opinion that very, very few people have a CLUE as to who Willow is (except at the Kitten, of course!). People obviously don't understand her sexuality (as we've all lamented repeatedly), but they also don't understand her insecurities and complexities AT ALL. Bob's essay on Willow was very good, but I'm thinking of going all out and creating "The Willow Project" or something. Willow is one of, if not THE, most complicated, multi-layered characters on TV and I think worthy of a site dedicated to her accurate deconstruction. I'll wait to see if ME completely destroys her character (and in the process, my theories) or not before I do it, but if things are somehow reversed in the finale, I just might do it. I will, of course, need the input of all the smart Kitties if I do it. Hmmmm.

Amy

EDITED TO ADD: Great story, Garner. Thanks!
