As we mentioned before if you want spoilers rather than gossip read the rest of this thread. We tend to try not to post just anything we hear unless it really seems legitimate and a quick read through this thread will tell you how accurate what you posted was. Spoilers come from the scripts or interviews or people that see filming.

As for stories, there is a whole board set up for posting those and getting feedback on them. Try the Different Colored Pens board rather than the spoiler thread.

Also, this is very important for those of us in the know, there are very disturbing spoilers floating out there. However, we have all heard them and debated them to death. So I will asks posters, unless there are new, substantial, and legitimate spoilers regarding a possible big scoobie death as it relates to Willow and Tara or Willow the big bad, do not post about it. We know, we are worried, we take them seriously but we can't spend all our time talking about them. You will be promptly edited or deleted.

Um...what have geese got to do with the show? Are they introducing a new character, like a duck, or something? Or perhaps it's the replacement for MKF...this could be big. Very big.

And uh...calling someone a 'stresshead' is er...well, it's just funny, that's all. I haven't heard that word used since I was teaching last year. The kids used to bandy that one round quite a lot.

I was waiting on an e-mail from a PBP atendee who claimed to have some spoilery goodness, but I've not heard yet so I'm assuming its nothing new. Judging by the 3 pronged MKF disinformation plot by Joss, Marti and Amber, I suspect that all the VIPs had been given strict instructions to keep it zipped!

Dazey, I'm positively fraught with spoiler burnout. This hasn't been a good year at all. The one saving grace is that I think the Tara death rumors have finally reached the point where their constant repetition now makes them appear less credible rather than more credible.

I'm sure there are those who will continue to jump and scream about how Tara's going to die this year. They'll probably keep saying it right up to the last five minutes of the season finale. We don't have to listen, though.

Well as has been the case in previous threads, it is usually only one or two people who elevate laying those mines to an artform. Bleh.

Willow swivels her head, testing her neck.

W: It's between a hitch and a kink. With a side of twinge. It's okay.
T: And Buffy's okay too? Enjoying the refreshing sanity and so forth?
W: (overdoing) Ha! Yes! Refreshing san--that's funny! (compensating soberly) She's okay. A little...freaked. I'm glad she didn't hurt you.
T: You too.
A beat of silence, then:
T (cont'd): So this is becoming kind of a regular thing. You and me after class.
W: Uh, I didn't...
T: only this time you stuck around.
W: Oh, um...various sounds of hesitation [again I believe this should have been in parentheticals]
T: She was just a friend.

Willow's caught a little off guard. But relieved.

W: Friends are nice!
T: You rushed off before I could, you know, explain.
W: Officially, of course, I have to say that I have no idea what you're talking about.
T: Unofficially?

Willow just grins a big grin. They walk in silence for a moment. Willow, still nervous, takes a deep breath, then:

W: We should get coffee some time. Maybe some day this week after class.
T: I am free tomorrow. [{I know we're all cheering right now.}]
W: You could, you could bring your friend.
Tara's actually a little thrown by this.
T: I wasn't gonna--I mean, if you have a friend-- [uh oh! But alas:]
W: No! I'm, oh, I'm friendless.
T: Yeah, yeah. No friends--I mean, I have friends...[sadly I wasn't her friend ]
W: Many dear friends, yeah, but--
T: Coffee.
W: With us. Who are...just friends.

Eventually later they go to the Expesso Pump and Anya shows up and ruins their Coffee date so to speak. I have more info, but I think this is good enough for now. I'm sure someone else will have the info that I am NOT going to post at this time. Too much of a good thing can kill you!

xita, i'm not sure either.. my interpretation was that, that was what willow was saying to be sincere, to not make the situation more awkward.
and tara knew that willow probably thought something else, cos well tara knows willow.
tara knew that willow had something else on her mind. maybe it is the "wanting her to be insanely jealous", or maybe that she just wants to know how willow feels, jealous or not. i don't think that tara would purposely want to make willow feel that way.
i suppose that we have to see the body language and the get the feel of the situation to really get whats going on.

I think the official/unofficial bit is a reference to the notion that "officially" they are supposed to be friends at this stage. I think Tara's hoping Willow will say something that suggests she wants to get back together.

Which, by the way, would be a major change in Tara from what we've seen on the air. Makes you wonder what we haven't heard about in Eps 16 and 17, doesn't it?

Ahh Bob that makes sense. And what I meant by Tara wanting to hear Willow say that was not about Tara wanting to make Willow jealous but wanting her to express her jealous feelings. If that makes sense.

I took the unofficially part to be that, Tara was not supposed to take notice of the fact that Willow is stalking her.
Seriously though, I mean this is how I interpeted it:
Will is hanging out hoping to "accidentally on purpose" run into Tara. Not only does Tara spot Willow, but notices her running off in her "insane bout of jealousy".
So officially Will has no idea what Tara is talking about, because she was not officially there.

Just my take.
