I believe Episode 16 is going to run on March 5. I haven't seen a date for Ep 17 yet, though, which makes me think it'll be April. Maybe early April, though.

Rally, that's how I took it too. That Willow had been hoping to "accidentally" run into Tara, and took off when she saw Tara with someone else. So, "officially", Willow's not fessing up to having been there. Unofficially, she's happy for the explaination.

Yes Rally you make sense as well.

Rose, she doesn't necessarily have to be listed in order to be in it. Angel X had spoilers that she was there as well as other people that got sides. Unless they cut all her scenes which is unlikely cause she has a couple of key scenes with Willow.

RAMS spoiler: Regarding how Joyce is involved--Episode 17 is an altered reality episode.

From the same source I got info on Joyce, but who is wishing to remain anonymous, so will now be credited as an anonymous RAMS source.

For the record, we got the director/writer info figured out: she'd accidentally switched the two.

Hmm.. interesting so who is writing directing the ep again?

And I am still not sure if Tara is in it.

W: (overdoing) Ha! Yes! Refreshing san--that's funny! (compensating soberly) She's okay. A little...freaked. I'm glad she didn't hurt you.
T: You too.

I mean that could be I'm glad she didn't hurt you because you weren't around.

Now the other stuff is, well I think it's clear that they show the scene where Willow spots Tara with that other girl. The scene we have is act 1 but that scene with the other girl could be in the teaser. In fact it would be a bit much to carry that from one ep to the next. I am going to say that maybe Tara isn't in 17. Grr.. i hope she isn't anyway, back to denial land where Tara is in every ep and she's a regular.

Dazey, I'm positively fraught with spoiler burnout. This hasn't been a good year at all. The one saving grace is that I think the Tara death rumors have finally reached the point where their constant repetition now makes them appear less credible rather than more credible.

Yup, I'm another one who gets fraught about Tara death rumours, to the point of having nightmares about it. However, I just remind myself how Joss's lesbian friends bugged him about Tara getting her mind back last season, and how he probably doesn't want the headline Buffy creator torn from limb to limb by pissed-off Tara fans as his epitaph...
Also, I'm really tempted to ask if we can have an official 'Tara's still here' gloating thread when she makes it to the end of the season alive. Yup, I know it would be kind of petty .. but no more petty than all the crazy rumours...

Hmm, maybe I missed something, but where was it announced that Normal Again would be an altered reality episode? Joyce's appearence could be done in several ways: A flashback, a dream, she comes back as a ghost. If she's actually going to be coming back at all. It is still just a rumor, right?

"torn limb to limb..." LOL.

And "Yeah, Me To" to the 'Tara's still here' gloating thread. I want some of my own back.

And just to be clear, I'd never be so petty as to post the URL on various other boards and send emails "TARA STILL HERE" with the URL to certain other people.

General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 6 - The Bermuda Triangle

Postby Hugin » Wed Feb 20, 2002 1:18 pm

Folks...it's looking increasingly like the rumors swirling around about Tara dying (or any Scooby dying, or Willow going Big Bad, etc) are untrue.

And every week that Tara continues to live, beautiful, level headed, supportive of her friends (and increasingly sassy!), it only makes sense that we want to celebrate. But please, let's do it with good grace.

The people who, whether through meanness, or lack of critical thinking, or pride, or gullibility, or plain honest error kept us nervous and worried these past months shouldn't make us less of a community than we can be. When the negativity got some folks down, other folks had encouraging words or jokes to cheer them back up. When news trickled out that could be interpreted as bad, Kittens applied thier own logic to the clues, and came up with thier own interpretations. Biased? Sure. But not illogical. We never went into blanket denial. We never shut down or tore ourselves apart. We asked for facts. We sniffed out agendas. We chose to be hopeful rather than prematurely pessimistic.

We all know we're fans of a complex, frequently dark show. Happiness isn't always a given. Characters we care about may still have hard times, who knows. There are no guarantees. But for now, things are looking good. And I'm just asking that as we express our happiness, we do it with good grace. Yes, even us mods have expressed snark, if not outright anger at some of the spoiler purveyors we're gone round and round with this season. But at the end of the day, that's not what the board is about. That path may be satisfying on some level, but it's not good karma. Today, we may be right. But we may not always be right. Let's be classy when we have the luxury to do so.

We're not going to have a "Nyah nyah"-type thread. That's official. If someone makes one, it will be locked. Instead, lets celebrate the positive reality unfolding in front of us. The cool character developments Joss has sneakily distilled from the yuckiness of the breakup (regard, miracle of miracles, the nearly universal Tara love that abounds all of a sudden across BtVS fandom). The moments pointing to reconciliation (finally!) between our girls. The clear signs of a continued commitment to the relationship and the integrity of the characters. The underlying rightness and fairness and beauty it represents week after week, to a national viewing audience.

Let those who made mistakes, or tried to hurt folks who care about Tara and W/T, deal with thier own lost credibility. Let them contemplate the way they've conducted themselves. But like Giles said in Fear Itself:

Don't taunt the fear demon. It's tacky.

Len,

You are after all are right. We should show a higher grace than those who have come here from the outside.

I should also lose 30 lbs, lower my blood pressure and reduce the amount of fat I eat. And I will, when I get done with this chicken wing.

I agree, we should not start "Tara Lives" thread here.

Should I start one on usenet after the season ends? Damn straight. Or as my stats prof used to tell me, "that dog'll hunt!"

Warlock.

Postby Rally » Wed Feb 20, 2002 1:43 pm

While the impending skies are looking clear and blue for our girls. I agree with Len, let's not get ahead of ourselves and add more fuel to the fire by thinking we have beat this thing.
The season is far from over and though there is absolutely zero proof that anyone beyond Katrina will die...it's still too soon to start celebrating.
Let's just await our coffee date, enjoy the fun little teases we are going to get in 15-17. We can worry about the rest later.

Wow. They are very pretty and a bit shorter than I imagined. SMG and Emma are also short at 5'2". No wonder Michelle T. can't really wear heels in any of her scenes with the rest of the women in the cast. On the show she wears mainly tennis shoes. Last time I checked a close associate(cousin) of Michelle's said that she was 5'6" or 5'7" in height. And it definitely shows on the show and in pix.

Postby Wiccagrrl » Wed Feb 20, 2002 6:04 pm

Well, at the risk of opening a can of worms, Frank had kind of an interesting theory up at Spoiler Slayer about ep 17 (which appears to be an alt reality ep, where Buffy has some kind of breakdown) and that something that happens in this ep might have been the source of the BSD rumors that have plagued us all season. This makes even more sense when you think about the fact that the plot could very well be a reworking of the rumored ep Asylum (which was supposed to happen, I think, around ep 10 or 11- when these rumors really started getting going)Not too different a situation from the scene from Restless that got leaked and led to half a season of Xander dies rumors, or the Riley stakes Spike bit, which led to all kinds of rumors about Spike being instant soup mix. Kinda makes sense.

Postby Kendahl897 » Wed Feb 20, 2002 6:35 pm

I agree. And I also think that BBQ Guy may have a point as whatever happens in episode 17 being the spark that pushes Tara back towards Willow. I guess there's nothing like seeing the woman you love getting hurt by a crazy, super slayer. If's Willow's neck is hurt, I'm guessing that Buffy had her in a chokehold. And since Buffy can snap a neck like she can snap a twig, it probably winds up being pretty scary for both Willow and Tara. I'm also guessing that Willow doesn't use any magic to help get out of the situation..This is not a spoiler or fact, just pure speculation on my part.
BTW, does anyone know how many more episodes Amy is contracted for?
