After spending some time clicking around http://elusio.net/pbp2002/ and looking at pictures, I am really impressed with the Buffy cast and their commitment with to the fans. Frankly, I am a little uncomfortable with the crowds around the vips, I have been to many of the signings and events and it seems to me a prudent thing to give them space. Some of those Aly pictures, hmm, kudos to her.

Yeah. God bless those cast members that showed up. I just wish that people would remember that they are people and not merchandise. It's cool to meet people you appreciate so much, but it is cooler to remember they owe you nothing but a good performance each week. The rest is gravy.

a few things i wanna say about the make-a-wish. it's a pretty damn amazing organization. some of my patients have going on trips to see family across the globe. kids have shown me long photo books of their great time at disneyland which is the most popular wish. tho for political reasons i do hate disney, ive had some patients whose families have no money and have never gone on vacation. they have special places to stay with other make-a-wish families so parents can bond with each others. they have doctors available if things go bad. the kids can eat ice cream all day long. the kids are always so excited showing their pictures with mickey mouse.

My god that is a ton of fans at that party! Couldn't pay me enough to stand in crowds like that for hours though it does look like the lot of them were enjoying themselves.
That has gotta get scary at times for the actors. It's mighty brave of them to venture out into the arms of Buffy Fandom all the while doing it with a smile.
