Seiing as one of my fav ep is when vamp Willow comes from another dimension (actually there are 2 eps with her in the costme) but its the attitude! DOOD! SEX ON LEGS IS ALL I CAN SAY! Maybe Tara was vamped and well that would be even more awesome. Just a thought maybe we can vote on it and give it to Joss LOL! Good day kittens

Ummm.... forgive me for taking the unpopular view, but my experience with Deep Space Nine tells me the Wishverse is a place we don't want Joss to over-milk. DS9 kept going back to its mirror-verse on a regular basis, and the stories just got silly. I'd hate to see that happen on Buffy.

I am not a big fan of Vamp Willow (all leather aside) and really don't have a big itch to see her back. And I am with Bob on overdoing things.

I am going to have to agree with Bob here.
We would not want Joss to go back to that well to many times.
But, I have personally felt that it would be really funny if Willow went as EVW for Halloween. Buffy could walk in on her and say "Oh my god it's you!". Sort of a nod to both "Doppelgangland" and "Halloween" when Willow was the ghost of hookers past.

sice D'land is my all time favourite BtVS 'stand alone' eppy i would adore to see VampWillow back.
Not for the sexy yummyness per se, you understand but for Alysons portrayal, where she gets to play Willow, VampWil, and possibly Willow pretending to be VampWill and VampWill pretending to be Willow.
D'land was Ally's tour de force of S3 and I'd love to see something along the same lines again, altho' I have to agree with Bob's assertation that you dont want to go to the same place to often.
But hey its like 3 years since that scenario was explored, so a revisit surely cannot be too bad a thing.

As a person writing a W/T fic set in "The Wish" version of Sunnydale (shameless plug that coming fic for that over!) even I have to admit that I wouldn't actually want more episodes on the subject. Whilst if I could take it in isolation I might like to see it, it is not something I would want to fit into the continuity of the show.

I liked Vampire Willow in Dopplegangland. She was funny. Especially the "bitch" line, which gets me every time. However, V. Willow in The Wish was not. She was scary. It was just sad to see her acting the way she did.

However, it might be fun to see V. Willow from D'land come back to regular Sunnydale for a run-in with Tara.

I totally loved the Vamp Willow eps! It was so... ummm... refreshing to see Alyson doing a whole other part that was still the same! I never forgot how weird she was feeling about Vamp Willow being "kinda gay" and how Buffy tried to comfort her telling her the Vamps self had nothing to do with your real self and then Angel was like: actually... and had to stop talking because of Buffy's look... lol!!!!! I'd really like to see Vamp Willow and Xander again. Xander who's always the doofus... he was a turn on in D'gang! *not half as much Willow, of course*
AND it would be interesting to see how Tara showing up affected this other reality...

But maybe going there again could be very tricky......

oh well, still I'd love to see all that!!

I love Willow and Tara just the way they are, warm blooded and alive. To me Vampwillow was amusing but no where near as interesting or sexy as Willow is. No thank you to Vamptara as well. I think Joss has given us *more* than enough with our W/T, true love.
So no, I do not want Vampwillow back, I want W/T back, together I mean, like nowish.

I loved Warlock's idea. And, I have to admit, Vamp willow in The Wish made an impression as well as in Dop'land. But then, as I have wittered before, I don't mind a little darkness.

But, yeah, I think I agree with the general consensus - with this amendment - if one of their writing team came up with a really interesting story, that they all thought had to be done, I, for one, would happily sit in front of the screen, and watch - I have to say, I trust them enough to come up with the goods. But I'm easy, either way.

But I wouldn't be surprised if you'd find a little leather and lace number hanging in Willow's wardrobe, just for those moments, when Tara glances slyly at her and purrs "let's be naughty tonight ..."

Cold shower time, methinks...

Hmmm...I really don't think 3 eps in 6 seasons would be overkill...and I do enjoy seeing Aly flex her acting muscles...but all in all I'd rather see the writers and actors covering new ground, not retreading old. I think Autumn's on the right track.

It would be hard to have Willowvamp back on the show, but Doppelgängland made me thirsty for more of that character. (You can make the ä with the HTML code &auml; which is portable unlike the extended ASCII character the old Buffy web site used which didn't print properly in my browser.)

I know Kittens probably aren't much for RPs, but I created a long-term slow-paced RP on the BronzeShelter specifically to be able to explore Willowvamp further (ok, why does that sound dirty?). It's sorta like collaborative improvisational fanfic. Willowvamp fans might enjoy reading it (don't wait too long, the thread's getting full and will eventually expire though probably not for several more weeks).

The first obstacle was how to explain that she's not dust after Doppelgängland. I still haven't revealed that explanation to my victims--uh, I mean fellow players--but things unfold very slowly when you only post one turn a day. The scoobies have yet to learn of Willowvamp's return to their Sunnydale (along with a new "ally", evil Spike from the Wishverse...no chip).

I think if Vamp Willow comes back, they'll have to think of a really good way of doing it - not the lame-ass way they brought Darla and Holtz back in 'Angel'!

The only way I can think of doing it is a dream sequence - there just isn't a way of bringing her back in the unflesh without going all bad-superhero-comic.

Besides Tara and Willow vamped for real is Willow and Tara DEAD for real, and that is the last thing I'd want to see on Buffy, with the possible exception of... no, that really is that last thing!

Anyway I think you'll find that we can see many of Vamp Will's qualities in Willow - the sexiness, the power, the commandingyness, the leather pants.

The only way I can think of would be that for some reason they need information from thae alternate reality (maybe with Anyas help?) and they do a flashback (like we see with Angels past) on how Willow was turned and what she was like freshly vamped. Did the master turn her, or Xander, or did she turn Xander? Could be interesting if they somehow came up with a good reason.
