General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 7 - The Voyage Home

Postby VampNo1 » Fri Mar 08, 2002 12:38 pm

I not sure Marti meant that how the death itself comes about is what she meant, about taking the show in a new direction, but who really knows! I'm not naive to think Joss and Marti would kill of a character, but at the same time I really don't see it happening in this season. Last year was the big dealing with death story-line with Joyce, and to an extent Buffy. We already dealt with the funeral, mouring for a loved one, etc. I just don't see season 6 going right back to dealing with basically the same issues that were dealt with in season 5. However, this is only my opinion, and in the end anything can happen, I still think BSD won't occur.

Oooh Wiccie, so butch. *swoon*. Heh.

Honestly, right now there's like, a hundred different spoilers around so it's hard to take any of them seriously; or indeed, not take any of them seriously.

My head is, as they say in Liverpool, cabbaged.

Thanks Ruth - I've been taking butch-lessons from Bob and Brian.

Yep, I'm not believing *anything* that doesn't come from one of these three categories:

1. Witnessed by Bob (or other trusted Kitten) at a Location Shoot.

2. Script sides provided by AutumnT or GiftofAmber

3. Confirmed tidbits from AngelX or Dark Sheep Mysterioso.

As I will, so mote it be.

If there is going to be a 'sacrifice' death, then doesn't that seem rather familiar - ie exactly like the end of season 5, when Buffy sacrificed herself. Surely they're not going to run the same type of storyline again!

Since these 3 seems to be the most reliable sources, where can one find spoilers from them?

Crap! I'm going nuts with all these rumors! This is the 1st season for me with that amount of spoilers/rumors/lies/whatever. It's driving me crazy!! But being the 1st one I guess it's ok, right? RIGHT?! ok, sorry, breaking down here!!!

Legs, you can find their spoilers in this thread and on this board (Bob's location reports go in seperate threads, but there haven't been any for the upcoming eps yet), and if you want the link to AngelX´ site just read the first post which has all the relevant spoilers so far in it as well.

I found it hilarious that B/A won the "Who do you want to gether at the end of Angel this season poll" without even being nominated. People wrote in cuz there option wasn't on there. I have one thing to say: Damn it! Why didn't we think of that? We could have made the winner for the BSD poll "No one you lying b**ch!"

Sounds to me like wiccie's just come up with the Kitten Board Spoiler Thread Credo (thanks!)...can we make this a header on every page to ward off trolls, like hanging garlic on the door to deter vamps? Only partially kidding...

Our unregistered "Spoiler" posted identical information at the Bronze Beta yesterday without spoiler warnings or spoiler font and pissed off a lot of the Bronzers there.

If it was reliable information I'm sure it would have been typed correctly for a start...

What. The. Fuck. Sorry, no, you're gonna get shot. Please tell me what your reason was for posting this? Have you read anything that the mods have said, over and over, in this thread? Like, oh say this for instance, posted by xita just a few pages back:

Ok, we are gonna quit now. Let's not spend another post on Wanda, I am considering deleting all these posts and I will delete any further ones. ...This poll means nothing, TV Guide had a similar poll a while ago and guess who "won" and it didn't mean anything then and this won't mean anything now.

I'm getting really fucking sick of people ignoring these repeated warnings. Really, it's not that hard. Remember, first engage brain, then post.

Dazey, I understand entirely what you're saying. Believe me, I really do. But whatever we feel about Wanda and her possibly/possibly not bogus spoilers, I think we should try and rein in our ire. Whatever happens happens. And it's going to happen whether we like it or not.

It doesn't do us any good to read stuff like this. But on the other hand, there's no need to jump down someone's throat for posting it, however misled they might be.

Postby Dazey » Fri Mar 08, 2002 5:29 pm

I'm sorry for the throat jumpage--actually I'm not, though I might be later--but the issue is not Wanda, or any other rumormonger. The issue is Kittens who ignore continued warnings about posting inappopriate items, like this one. You state yourself that "It doesn't do us any good to read stuff like this," so why is it here? If someone wants to know what Wanda and her cohorts are prattling on about (other than legitimate spoilers, which of course can be posted here), they can go to her site or wherever. I don't want to read it, and I shouldn't have to.

And CPS Boy, I don't think you want me to tell you where the love is right now.

Careful... we can be wrong, too.

People have been asking where the location shoot info has been lately, so I'll repeat what I've said before:

The eidc - that is, the organization that issues the permits - took down its online shoot sheet after the September 11 attacks. The movie stars are afraid of terrorism, or so the claim goes. It's now back online, but it's password protected and you have to present legitimate media credentials to the eidc before they'll give you the password.

This means unless I get a tip from someone, I'm out of luck. On the last two Buffy shoots I've been to, I've had a combined advance notice time of about four hours.

Now, having said that... there's a possibility of one to three shoots being accessible next week. Can't say more about that right now, though. It's my turn to be mysterioso...

They are now shooting episode 19 from the spoiler about the shoot at 6 flags. The filming occurred on Thursday, February 28, and Friday, March 1 according to Spoiler Slayer. They take about 8 week days (mostly) to film each episode. I'll assume that that was the first day of filming with the last dat being March 8th. With 3 more eps to go or about 24 days of filming, they should be done by mid-April (4/12) The season finishes airing May 22.

Postby spikeme » Fri Mar 08, 2002 9:40 pm

I was over at the Bronze Beta and someone named: Willowfan posted some spoilers that involve both Willow and Tara. I'm not going to get into detail, but, the jist is: Tara get's shot by Warren and Willow kills Warren. Just thought I would give you kittens the heads up, about this new spoiler disaster.

It very well could be more crap, I just wanted to let you know, more angst on the way. I'm a big B/S fan and of course the info on them is enough to become a vengence demon myself. For some reason, there are people out there that are really against these two ships, and I like to be proactive in discounting negative information right away. Long live W/T and B/S!

I've read those spoilers too and I really hope they are fake, for the case of both ships. I just can't see the one about W/T being true because of it saying that Willow kills Warren when there are other reports from more credible sources that say Buffy fights or kills Warren. I'm really doubting that Tara with die. B/S and W/T belong with eachother

General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 7 - The Voyage Home

Postby Kilopto » Fri Mar 08, 2002 10:00 pm

Argh!!!!!!!! This is making my head hurt!! I read this thread because it usually has some great spoilers in it. But where and when did the term spoiler become another way of saying stupid death rumours. I mean once one rumour or "source" is dispelled and we get a tidbit of new info to go on about something else someone pops in again with a "oh new info about the BSD, except this time it'll happen THIS way" crap! I personally don't want or need a "heads up" to what's going on in the other boards. I don't go to other boards. I come to the Kitten Board because it has great people with cool discussions that don't thrive on debating stupid death of a character tripe.

In EVERY show that has ever been on television and had an online fandom people create and spread character death rumours, they spread like wildfire and then the good people who form communities and circles that adore the shows and characters have to pick up the pieces after furious online debates ensue.

I'm so tired of this stuff. IF there is a BSD, then fine, if Joss wants it I accept that. I love this show, I love getting spoilers for this show. But "spoilers" doesn't mean endless debates and fights about "who's gonna die this season". We could go on FOREVER about all of the possibilities for every single major and minor character of the show and how they might be killed off.

This is a W/T board. I get happy yay and sometimes a bit angsty spoilers about them from this wonderful board. I don't come here to listen to people pop in with a new "tara's gonna die, no wait anya's gonna die, no wait tara's gonna die! no wait they BOTH are gonna die! no no wait spike will turn tara into a vampire and then anya will reap vengence on them and then all three are gonna die!"

I'm sick of it! I beg, implore and plead with the mods to please start deleting death posts! It's too much from far too little for these claims to be made! Please!

And sorry for all of the kitten bystanders who had to endure this rant. I'm just angry and frusterated.

Rant over,
Ashley

Edited to Add- Hi jomarch, thanks it's nice to know I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Postby jomarch » Fri Mar 08, 2002 10:05 pm

Ok, I am a big spoiler junkie mainly because I want to know that despite all the angst and drama, things will work out in the end for all the characters. This is why I read this thread.
However, I believe that there is a major difference between Spoliers and just stupid rumours. The former coming from respectable sources as pointed out in this thread (DSM etc) and the latter coming from people on boards who are bored and can't take the time to write fanfiction.
I read this thread to know about spoilers (things that are in scripts or have been seen shooting on location etc), if I wanted stupid unsubstatiated rumors about the BSD... Wait a minute, I don't want that so could some nice people just get back to the real spoilers. Sorry about the rant.

Can't wait for the good substatiated stuff to materialise in Ep18

Edited to add - Hi Kilopto. I liked your post. Seems like we had the same idea but you elaborated better that me.

General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 7 - The Voyage Home

Postby Warduke » Fri Mar 08, 2002 10:24 pm

Remember the spoilers Dark Sheep Mysterioso posted about ep 18 (in the first post of this thread) she said that the ending would be really good, well this is what happens at the end of ep 18(from the shooting script)...

quote:
Willow's bedroom

Tara: Things fall apart, they fall so hard. (Tara is standing in the door way.)

Willow: Tara.

Tara: There's so much to work through, trust has to build again on both sides,
you have to learn if you are even the same people you were, if you can fit in each other's lives, it's a long and important process and can we just skip it, and can you just be kissing me now?

Willow, searches Tara's face, did Tara just.

Yes.

Tara stares back nervous but sure.

Willow stands as Tara moves to her.

They kiss passionately, they interlock fingers, holding on as tight as they can, not letting go they keep kissing, it is intense, it is passionate, and it is above all else, love, truly and forever.

Big thanks to DSM
