Buffering the Vampire Slayer podcast

Has anyone been listening to the podcast Buffering the Vampire Slayer? It's hosted by Kristin Russo of the website Everyone Is Gay, and her wife, singer-songwriter Jenny Owen Youngs. They are hysterically analyzing the episodes one-by-one, and post a new episode every Wednesday. This past week was season 2, episode 10, "What's My Line" (part 2). They are funny, frequently have special guests such as Armin Shimerman (Principal Snyder) and artist Kate Leth, and best of all, every week Jenny writes a new song about the episode and their discussions. The first season's songs are available on ITunes as an album, and it's become my 13yo's favorite music--for this week, anyway. :heart

They have a Facebook page, a Twitter (@Buffering), and a website, bufferingthevampireslayer.com. I highly recommend giving them a listen!

Neato. I've been listening to a similar looking-back-one-episode-at-a-time podcast for Farscape (Farscape Friday), it's been an interesting experience to see the show through new eyes - even though I've rewatched the whole series a couple of times since its initial airing, there have been some pretty major ideas pointed out during the analysis that had passed me by on watching, just because even on rewatch my brain coasts along with the same interpretation I'd formed first time round, when I was younger and not really looking past the surface much. I actually haven't ever rewatched Buffy at all (DVDs were still pricey when the seasons started being available, and nowadays when I get nostalgic I go to fanfic) so no doubt this'll be similarly illuminating.
