just wondering if anyone here has seen ambers role in dons plum, i know xita was talking about it once

Oddly enough, I have. She was quite good in it. Actually, I thought it was the least self-conscious performance I've ever seen from her. Admittedly I'm not familiar with her entire oeuvre.

And the movie was surprisingly well made. Especially for the budget. Mostly good work all around.

I'm guessing his lawyers aren't paying attention. That particular posting of it has been up for over a year.

I will say that I do not like the movie overall. It doesn't help that Amber's character "Amy" is treated so horribly. But hey, if you want to see her get verbally abused and physically threatened by Leo DiCaprio for twenty minutes... this is the movie for that.

It's been a few years since I watched Don's Plum but I remember struggling through it.

I remember it being a super bro-ey film. Sort of Clerks meets Chasing Amy meets Swingers. With Maguire and DiCaprio being creep- and douche-tastic respectively. And if it's true that they impro-ed most of it, that might explain why DiCaprio has such a hate-on for it. I mean that was ton of straight up misogyny in there. I mean, how're you going to be Mr. Titanic Heart-throb with that movie floating around.

But as a piece of film making, they accomplished a whole lot with very little.
