WIS: I was thinking about you recently and wondered how you were getting on

WIRMTS: I miss you, we used to talk every day and now we're strangers. Can we fix that?
Trying to find my own direction on this busy one way street where all the influential people never bother helping me.

My soul brings tears to angelic eyes.

When a friend asked for advice on purchasing a "not so expensive camera under $100" to take on a "dream vacation."

WIS: Unfortunately, I'm not really up on point and shoot cameras, but I would stick with a known brand like Sony, Canon, or Nikon. You might just want to Google 'Best Point and Shoot cameras for under $100.'

WIRMTS: Girl, I am a professional photographer. The last "not so expensive camera" I bought was $2,500. I don't even know if they make digital cameras under $100 anymore. Just use your phone.

WIS: I'm sorry your credit got so shitty you can't get a loan and you're having to take money out of your wedding-and-house-fund. Money stuff can be really stressful.

WIRMTS: If you know your partner is bad with money, why did you risk your credit to try to make hers better and then not make sure she kept up with payments?? I know things were stressful, but that was pretty dumb; I'm really trying to not view your partner as a bad person in your life, but damn, you really screwed yourself over for her. Also every time you remind me that your parents not only paid for all of your college but are even giving you the remaining 10s of thousands of dollars from the fund they saved, it's really hard to feel bad about your money problems. Maybe that's selfish or unkind of me, because my partner makes good money and I still complain about how much a house will cost, but you're coming from a place of such immense privilege I struggle to sympathize.
