I started the fic SOMETHING LIKE HOPE way back in 2003. At that time, it was a Buffy fanfic. It has since been converted to an original, though it’s not hard to see those original elements. It still holds a place in my heart, and I want *something* of mine out there for people to read. It's been finished for years now, and I've just been sitting on it. I've written more, better written stories since, but those are ones I'm trying to get traditionally published.

The world as it is known has ended. Humans and demons have banded together in an attempt to survive the horrible creatures, animals from other worlds, that have made the world their home. It is up to Astrid to fix this. There's just one problem...she's already dead.
