It's just Thursday, MKF! 1/29/04

All day I thought it was Wednesday, but nobody was acting like it was the middle of the week so I got concerned that perhaps I had really lost track of time and it was actually Friday... but no, that wasn't right either. And then it hit me—it was THURSDAY. (Hi gorn! Family is great! San Francisco is ok from what I can see from afar! How are you and yours?)

Thursdays. Not Wednesdays, not Fridays.

Anybody else way too busy these days, MKF? Working from home sounded like such a great idea ... but I've never been so busy. Not complaining, don't get me wrong MKF ... just sayin' I'm busy.

Hey, EasierSaid! I wanted to say "Saturday is right out" a couple of months ago, but time kinda got away from me.

Hey, Happy Thanksgiving, MKF! One of the very best Thursdays of all, a holiday that ALWAYS lands on a Thursday! This was a weird one because of COVID, but we had a great day just me & mrs. gorn and the girls. Mrs. gorn outdid herself yet again, fantastic dinner.

It's just Christmas Eve Thursday, MKF! Merry Thursday & Merry Christmas to all. Now get to bed before Santa comes!

Happy New Year, MKF! I know technically it's Friday now, but my standing rule has always been it's not the next day until you go to bed and wake up the next day. I hope everyone out there made it through 2020 in one piece, and I'm wishing all of you the best in 2021.

Happy Holy Thursday, MKF! Celebrated in Denmark, Spain, Columbia and a few other countries ... but really, EVERY Thursday is kinda holy, you know?

Been having a rough time for a while now, MKF, but today was actually kind of a good Thursday. By that I mean, I would consider today to have been a pretty good day even if it wasn't Thursday. Few and far between, but I'll take it.

My eldest daughter is now taller than my wife ... she's eleven years old (my daughter, not my wife). Life is weird, MKF. Both my daughters wear my wife's old clothes ... it's surreal seeing MY CHILDREN in clothes that, if I close my eyes, I can still see my wife wearing back in the day.

It's just Thursday, MKF! And it's Leon Day, halfway to Christmas! Anyone else shocked at how quickly this year is going by?

Leon Day is still kinda special in the gorn house because that's the day our Elf on the Shelf stops by again to see how we're doing. I heard her opening the fireplace cover doors just now, and she's hidden candy all over the house (last year it was floaties for the pool, but we've got way too many now). Not sure when she is herself, but I'm sure the kids will find her in the morning. The kids are not as little as they used to be, though ... I dearly, dearly hope I can still keep doing this for a few more years.

Guess what, MKF? I took the day off tomorrow! Even a normal Thursday is pretty damn good, but Thursday when you have Friday off is pretty sweet. Looking forward to next week Thanksgiving Thursday, maybe the very best Thursday of them all! If not the best, it's got to be in the top two or three.

It's Christmas Eve Eve and a Thursday so what better time than to check in on the Kittens and say "MERRY EVERYTHING!" I hope everyone is happy and safe, and doing their best while being kind to themselves.

It's New Year's Eve Eve, MKF! I'm old enough to have partied like it was 1999, but I think the bigger celebration is partying like it's not going to be 2021 anymore. Snowy Thursday, MKF! Anyone else get snow out there? I feel bad (but not really ...) because Mrs. gorn and the gornlings have done all the snow shoveling while I was working.

Covid really has done something weird with Time, MKF. Every Thursday I feel like it was just Thursday the other day ... and yet at the same time the drag from Monday to Thursday each week has never seemed longer. It's not just strange, it's weird. I kind of always lived this way a little, but the weekends are going by so fast I'm starting to go into weekend-mode every Thursday night just to recoup the lost time I'm not actually really losing. You know what I mean, MKF. Don't look at me that way.

It's the Thursday before Friday the 13th, MKF! Everybody be careful out there!

Is it Thursday, MKF? Just stopping by to say hey, scratch MKF's back. Thursday's come fast and furious these days, I wish things would slow down a bit ...

Everybody have a good Thursday out there? There was something I thought about posting a couple of days ago, and like a fool I thought, "Oh, I'll wait until Thursday to do it!" Nothing wrong with that sentiment ... but I'm not remembering things as well anymore as I used to. I know I'm not old enough to be losing my marbles, but I can tell my memory isn't quite as sharp as it used to be. So I don't know what I was going to write about today, but I remember it being kinda fun. Pretend like you just read something fun here and have a good Thursday, MKF!

Unrelated but I waited until a Thursday to write about it ... I was passing through Florence, KY recently and the big "FLORENCE Y'ALL" water tower reminded me of woahnellie. Hope you're doing well wherever you are!
