You've got to feel sorry for Jason in a way. His path was chosen for him. Of course, if he hurts Willow or Tara all bets are off. Look forward to the next instalment.

Update

Postby Willowfan » Tue Jul 23, 2002 3:35 pm

Just a quick pop in to say Hello and update...I will be back with replys later:)

Willowfan:)

Willow walked beside her lover, her fingers interlaced with Tara’s. She was in heaven and everything was right in the world. Ok, sure they had received a mysterious note saying to go to a cemetery and Buffy was missing. So it was a typical Sunnydale night. But this time, she was with Tara. She tightened her grip and looked to Tara.

The blonde was scanning the cemetery, looking for both Buffy and for trouble. She felt the redheads stare and turned to look into those big, green eyes. A half smiled curled her lips. She was always self-conscious under scrutiny, but Willow made her feel like she was something special. She had never felt like this before and she wasn’t entirely used to it. ‘I mean, I’m just plain Tara.’ She thought to herself. ‘What can she possibly see when she looks at me like that?’

Willow was openly staring at Tara now. She could not put into words what she was feeling. This….angel had come to her and she was in utter awe. Unable to control herself, she swept Tara into a passionate kiss. Every inch of her body was on fire. Everything she felt and everything she knew was screaming that this woman held her soul. She would spend the rest of her natural life gazing into those beautiful eyes. Every day she would make sure to touch Tara. Every time she saw her, Willow would be sure to say something about how beautiful Tara was and how she made Willow feel to just be in her presence.

Tara was starting to feel a little self-conscious. “Is there something on my face, Willow?” she asked, wiping off her face.

Willow smiled and raised her hand to caress Tara’s cheek. “Let me…” she slowly ran her fingers across Tara’s cheek and trailed them down her neck. Tara shivered and smiled.

Tara was in awe. How could Willow hold her with such devotion. She had left the redhead during one of the most traumatic times in her life. When Willow needed her the most, Tara just left her. She abandoned the woman she loved more than anything else in the world. Tara hung her head and she felt ashamed. 'How can Willow still look at me with such open abandon like that?' Tara hung her head and let her hair fall to cover her face.

Willow saw the look on Tara’s face and her brow furrowed. “Baby?” she reached over and tucked the hair back behind Tara’s ear. “You ok?” Willow stopped when she saw a tear slide down Tara’s cheek.

“Oh goddess Willow.” Tara reached up and wiped the tear from her cheek. She let Willow’s hand go and took a step back, more tears falling from her swollen eyes. “Goddess Willow….can you ever forgive me?” Tara leaned on a headstone and sobbed into her hands.

Willow marched up and took Tara’s chin in her hand. She kneeled down and looked up into Tara’s blue eyes. “Now you listen to me, Tara Maclay.” She started, her resolve face falling securely into place. “There is absolutely nothing to forgive you for.” She stated, reaching down and taking Tara’s hand into her own.

Tara looked at their hands and sighed. “Willow…I l-left you when y-you needed me the most.” She started stuttering and Willow noticed.

“Baby…no…you are the reason I am alive and sane and able to go on living my life. If you hadn’t left me nothing would have changed except you would have felt even worse!” Willow scooted foreword and rested her hand on Tara’s leg. “Baby, you changed my life that day.” She whispered to Tara.

Tara dropped to the ground next to Willow. “Baby…nothing could have been worse than leaving you.” She raised Willow’s face to meet her gaze. “Nothing.” She leaned in and grazed the hackers lips.

Willow closed her eyes and melted into Tara’s lips. She felt horrible for making Tara go through this. She vowed to never let this woman go. She would take this second chance and use it to its fullest extent. She would heal the wounds that she caused and she would never take her angel for granted again.

“C’mon baby…” Willow stood and reached her hand for Tara.

Tara grasped the offered hand and rose gracefully.

“We have to find Buffy and then scout that cemetery.” Willow had a goal and she was off. Tara loved her determined girl.

'MY girl...' she smiled and followed behind the redhead.

Hee! Me too with the awww! So much love between those two and I really did wanna' enjoy it but the pessimist in me kept thinking that Jason was gonna' pop out of the bushes any second and try to hurt them. He's not going to, right?

Something about the way your hair falls on your face. I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcace. You tell me where to go and, though I might leave to find it I'll never let your head hit the bed without my hand behind it. You want love, we'll make it. Swim in a deep sea of blankets. Update

Postby Willowfan » Thu Jul 25, 2002 7:15 pm

Ginner WTluv-Welcome to the show.Stay tuned, we're just getting started.

funkyasian-Jason and Tara are linked in Destiny. They're bound together, not in a sexual way...more as brother and sister...they are very closely connected and they will start to figure that out right away....but I have to get them there first;) So...now THAT little spoiler is out....I will hopefully get there soon:)

Thanatopsis-Glad to have you on board:)

snuggle79- it was wasn't it?! Glad you liked it.

hazeljoie-No worries...as you will soon see. There is enough bad things on the hellmouth without me making more problems:)

Thanatopsis-I write happy now...cause later, well...it's B:TVS...there is gonna be angst:)

MadenNZ-Me Too!!;)

This update has a scene that I wrote about the Tinkerbell spell. I am under the impression that Tara is unaware of Xanders reference to that effect. So, that is the way I wrote it. If I am mistaken...well then...it's my fic. I can make Anya like bunnies if I want:P

Without further rantings...on with the show:)

Jason walked the campus, searching for his prey. Yes, he could send the magic out and destroy all traces of the creatures. ‘ But really…where is the fun in that?’

Walking down a darkened path Jason stopped and looked around, he was surrounded. At least four vampires had made their way around him. They were hidden, but he could sense them. He stopped and flexed his fingers, loosening himself for the attack.

It came swiftly and from all sides. Jason ducked as a vampire flew overhead. He grinned and stripped off his trench coat. ‘Let the games begin’ he thought to himself. Pivoting on his feet, Jason threw his coat at another vamp and spun. His leg shot out and caught the creature in the throat, snapping its neck.

Continuing his movement, Jason punched another vampire in the face. The creature just growled and wiped his nose.

Lunging at Jason, the demon never saw the stake in Jason’s hand. His face contorted in rage and agony as he crumbled into dust.

Jason turned to face his next attacker and found them hanging back. He grinned and advanced on them. Jumping into the air, he shot both of his legs out and kicked two of the vampires back. Landing he staked a third. He jumped to the fallen two and drove a stake in each of them. The adrenaline was coursing through his body and he had yet to use the magic. The remaining two saw their comrades crumble and ran. Jason smiled and finally let the magic loose. Extending his hands, Jason called forth the power. “Cremo!” Both vampires erupted in flames.

Jason sighed. The battle was over before it had really begun. He still had hunting to do however. And he intended to enjoy it.

************************************************************************

Willow and Tara both scanned the cemetery for any sign of…well…anything. Nothing was happening though, and they had just about given up any hope of finding anything.

Willow was concerned for her best friend, and she was starting to panic. Not a full blown Willowpanic, but there was panic-yness to be sure. “Oh!” she jumped up excitedly. “Tinkerbell!” she said suddenly, turning to Tara.

Tara looked at Willow like she had just grown a third head. “Tinkerbell?” she asked, slowly. “The fairy from Peter Pan?”

Willow nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah…do the Tinkerbell spell.” She nodded, happy with her idea.

Tara was still lost. “I have a Tinkerbell spell?” she wanted to understand, but was missing something.

Willow bobbed her head and smiled. “Yeah. You turn into Tinkerbell and flit around to scout the area, and when you find Buffy, you come back and we go get her. Then when we get her we go for mochas and everything will be great and I will have my Buffy back, and my Tara will be there too..” she was in full Willowbabble, and there was only one thing capable of halting full Willowbabble.

Slowly, Tara placed a single finger over Willow’s rapidly moving lips. “Shhhh….” She whispered. Willow closed her mouth immediately.

“Sorry…that babble got away from me.” She said quietly.

“I’ve missed Willowbabble.” Tara said, lowering her finger. “So. Tinkerbell.” She went back to her question. “This wouldn’t happen to be the locating spell, would it?” she asked, thinking back to the time Willow and Xander were lost right after they brought Buffy back.

Willow again bobbed her head. “Xander said that you looked like Tinkerbell…the name kind of stuck.” She smiled.

Tara grinned and nodded. “Tinkerbell spell it is.” She sat and cleared her head, concentrating on Buffy. Soon, a small light formed in front of her forehead and shot of through the cemetery.

Willow grinned excitedly and waved at the little light. “Hi Tink...” she smiled. The light zoomed around her head playfully and zipped off.

Tara had a small smiled on her lips.

She quickly found the unconscious slayer and zoomed back to her body. “Found her.” she said, jumping up. She took Willow’s hand and they sped off to find Buffy.

Rounding a mausoleum, they spotted the slayers form on the ground.

Tara slipped out of Willow’s grasp as the redhead sped up, concern for her best friend etched in her face. Willow got within two feet of Buffy when she hit a barrier and was thrown back, violently. She landed a good twenty feet away and sat up, shaking her head. Tara was next to her in a heartbeat.

“Baby…are you ok?” she asked, frantically checking over Willow.

Willow just nodded and started to stand. “Whatever it is blocking me was not designed to hurt me.” She said, clearing the cobwebs from her head. “I feel fine now.” She smiled reassuringly to Tara.

Tara looked over at Buffy’s body and glared. Standing, she strode to the prone form of the slayer ready to meet the barrier and batter it down if need be. She almost tripped when she felt no resistance where Willow had been thrown. Looking over her shoulder, Tara smiled. “I guess it was only temporary.” She said, dropping down to examine Buffy. Aside from a very nasty bump on the back of her head, Buffy was fine. Her breathing was normal and she was even smiling.

Willow walked up and was again thrown back when she tried to pass closer than two feet. “Alright…I’ve had it.” She said, backing up getting ready to run at the unseen barrier.

Tara jumped up and stopped her. “Easy there, Will.” She ran out, holding on to Willow. “Let me try something.” Tara reached into her pocket and took out a small leather pouch. Reaching in, she took a handful of herbs and sprinkled them over the area of the ward. She started to speak softly in latin and Willow felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end.

There was a bright flash and Tara motioned Willow forward slowly.

Willow edged closer and smiled brightly when she was not thrown back. “That’s my baby…the most powerful witch in the west.”

Tara blushed and dropped her head. “I don’t know about that. Whoever put this ward up was very powerful.” She said, shaking her head.

Willow walked over to Buffy and gently rolled her over. “C’mon sleepy head.” She said softly, patting Buffy lightly on the cheeks. “Time to slay the vampires.” She smiled.

Buffy groaned and tried to open her eyes. They were being stubborn for some reason, and she had a headache from the Hellmouth. “Ouch….did anyone get the license plate number of that truck?” she asked, wincing at the sound of her own voice.

Willow smiled and looked up at Tara. “ She’s back.”

Part the next

Postby Willowfan » Tue Jul 30, 2002 10:16 am

Tara walked over to Buffy and dropped down to help the slayer stand.

Between Willow and Tara, Buffy was standing, albeit a bit wobbly. The three walked slowly from the cemetery, the two Wicca’s asking Buffy about her attack.

Buffy related the tale of the attack. She could not see who had finally gotten past her defenses, and she had no idea why she was still alive.

Tara and Willow listened intently to Buffy’s tale as they walked. Tara was nodding silently at key parts as she held onto Willow’s hands, but her mind was on the scene at the cemetery. Willow had not been able to approach Buffy. Tara knew she passed through a barrier of some sort, but why it had kept Willow out and let her in was still a mystery. ‘I wonder if I will be able to do some research at The Magic Box?’ she thought. She felt some pressure on her hand and looked up into Willow’s eyes.

“You ok baby?” Willow asked, noticing the concern on Tara’s face.

Tara smiled and held onto Willow’s hand, feeling warmth spread throughout her body. Nodding she smiled at Willow. “Yeah…I’m good. I was just thinking about what happened at the cemetery.” She sighed again, her brow furrowing in concentration.

Willow nodded, keeping silent and willing her beautiful love to continue.

“Why was there a protection spell placed over you Buffy?” Tara asked, glancing up at the blonde slayer.

Buffy shrugged, her hand pressing on the back of her head, feeling the large knot. “I don’t know….I didn’t do it, that’s for sure.” She said, dropping her hand and looking at Tara. “Hey…maybe it’s a new part of the whole slayer package!” she grinned excitedly. “I get force fields!” she smiled brightly.

Willow smiled and glanced back at Tara, and then her face immediately fell when she saw Tara’s furrowed brow.

“Somehow, I don’t think so…” she said sadly, glancing up at Willow’s worried expression. She smiled immediately and tried to lighten the mood. “But maybe we could ask Giles…. see if he knows anything?” she beamed as Willow’s face brightened.

Willow nodded. “We can call when we get home, it’ll be morning there…” she quipped excitedly as she spoke to Buffy.

Tara got quiet and dropped her head, Willow rambled on as they walked about how exciting it would be to call Giles.

Buffy was the one to notice Tara’s silence. With a little nudge, she pointed it out to Willow.

“Baby?” Willow stopped walking and took Tara’s hand, concern laced in her voice.

Tara stopped and looked up at Willow, forcing a smile. “I-I should go…um…home that is…” she cursed to herself for her stuttering. This was Willow…her Willow…she had no reason to stutter.

Willow looked confused as Tara spoke, then reality set in. Her home was not Tara’s home anymore. Home was somewhere else. Somewhere not with Willow…her heart sank. “You could stay here…it’s getting late…and…” she glanced up at the sky. It was getting late. So late it was getting early. The sun was rising, so Tara’s walk home would be safe. From vampires anyway. Willow frowned as her best argument died on her lips.

Tara looked at Willow’s face and heard her words. Her heart held on to the tiniest bit of hope and she waited for Willow to think of a reason…any reason….for her to stay. She didn’t want to leave Willow’s side ever again. She wanted to be there for everything Willow did, everything she saw, everything she heard and for every experience the hacker had. She wanted to be able to see every facial expression and glimmer in her love’s eyes as she saw the world. Her heart ached with just the thought of leaving Willow’s side for a few mere minutes. How she would last an entire day was unknown to the blonde. So, she waited while the wheels in Willow’s head spun.

Buffy looked between the two and sighed. They obviously wanted to stay together, but neither wanted to rush. It was stupid. They belonged together. They fit, it was destiny. And as The Slayer, Buffy knew something about destiny. You couldn’t fight it. She grinned and almost bounced as a thought entered her head. “Hey, Tara. You can’t go.” She sounded almost excited.

Tara looked up at Buffy, expecting her to comment on her usual line of ‘This will always be your home’.

“You were the only one who could pass the barrier, so you have to tell Giles what it was like. Offer any…uh…witchy insight.” Buffy beamed.

Willow squeaked and nodded her head emphatically. “That’s right! I got tossed back like I was a sack of potatoes….a sore sack of potatoes to boot.” She scowled, rubbing her back.

Tara immedialty smiled and nodded her head. “I can offer s-s-some help, I guess.” She was cheering inside, and she continued to cheer all the way to the Summer’s house.

More to come....Willowfan:)

Small update

Postby Willowfan » Sat Aug 03, 2002 6:59 pm

Hi all:) Sorry for the delay...I was waiting for inspiration and feedback...I told you I was a feedback whore;) But I figured you waited long enough, so here's another part.

************************************************************************

Jason opened his door and sensed the intruder before he saw him. A man sat at his desk, the words of a spell forming before Jason opened the door all the way. Jason acted on instinct and raised a shield. It fell into place before spell hit Jason, but he was knocked across his room, slamming into the wall.

“Jason Lindin. I am here to bind you and then to kill you.” The man said as he stalked over to Jason’s limp body.

“Really?” Jason stood, wiping a trail of blood from his nose. “Well as for binding me, you can’t. There is only one who could and she is lost. And as for the killing me?” he looked at the man, his eyes glazing black. “Better have tried. All have failed.” he shot his arm out and black energy shot from his palm, slamming into the intruder.

The man was lifted off of the ground and pinned to the wall, black energy encircling the man’s wrists, neck and waist. “Now…who are you and why did you make this pitiful attempt on my life?”

The captive man snarled and spit in Jason’s face. Jason reached up and wiped his cheek, never breaking eye contact with the man. “You obviously do not understand the situation.” He said, casting a barrier around the room to keep the sound from escaping.

After two hours, Jason had secured the man’s name and station. “So. Adam. Why don’t you tell me what you are doing here?” Jason asked calmly, looking at the wreck in front of him. It pained him to see the man this way, but Adam had been sent for one reason and one reason only. To kill Jason. He had no care other than snuffing out the life force of the young warlock.

Adam coughed as he tried to speak. His insides were twisted and broken, nothing that could not be repaired, but it still hurt like hell. “I…I was sent to…kill you.” He said, pain etched in his face.

Jason nodded and sighed. “The witches committee?” Jason growled the name.

Adam nodded and coughed up blood.

Jason looked at the captive man and sighed. “I am sending you back to them. They know, as you should have, that only two things can kill me. The dark magic inside of me and The Guardian. You want to help me….find her.” Jason waved his hand and Adam shimmered out of his room. “Find her so I can be stopped.” He whispered to no one.

His senses picking up that it was dusk, he searched the campus and sighed. Twelve vampires. “I will continue to fight them…and they will never stop coming.” He walked to his door and entered the night.

************************************************************************

Buffy sat down on the sofa, looking across the room at willow and Tara. They had not left each other’s side since they reunited, and Buffy was beaming inside. “So…Tara…you gonna hang tonight?” she asked, gently reminding the shy Wicca that this was her home as long as she lived, and nothing would change that.

Tara smiled at Buffy. “N-no..I’m going to head home, I have an early class and I don’t want to miss it.” She smiled, grasping Willow’s hand.

Buffy grinned. “Ok...I can walk you…I gotta do a sweep before I go to sleep anyway...” she started to stand, but Willow stopped her.

“NO!” the hacker yelled, jumping up. “I mean…I can take her...cause you got hurt, and you’re hurt so you should heal. I mean. Sure, you’re the slayer and you have that whole healing thing, but that takes time...time you don’t need to spend worrying about Tara...not that Tara doesn’t need worrying about, because she does. “She spun to face Tara. “Not that you can’t take care of yourself, because you can…you’re Scooby trained, that’s like…a marine in the monster world...and plus.” She threw her hand out her hand, gesturing over Tara. “You’re a very powerful witch.” She was silenced by a finger from Tara placed on her lips.

“Willowbabble.” She said softly…Willow melted.

Buffy smiled. “Ok...I guess I’ll turn in then.” She said looking at the two. “Just be careful…take this.” She held out two large wooden crosses and three vials of holy water. “And these.” She handed each of them a stake. “Any sign of vamps, you use the crosses and run...they follow, throw the water and run faster…only use the stakes if you HAVE to.” She chided them.

Willow rolled her eyes and smiled. “Hey…scooby training, remember…we’re like marines to the monsters…or the army…well…some kinda fighting guys that...fight...” she trailed off as Tara drug her from the house.

Buffy shut the door and sighed. “A slayers work is never done.” She said as she waited to the count of twenty before opening the door again to follow behind them. She walked onto the porch and stopped in her tracks, staring at Willow and Tara’s smiling faces.

“Waiting till twenty now?” Willow asked, grinning ear to ear. Tara suppressed a smile and turned, holding Willow’s hand.

Buffy trotted to meet them, a grin on her face. “What…I’m not allowed to worry?” she asked as the three walked into the night.

Small update

Postby Willowfan » Mon Aug 12, 2002 2:32 am

Ok...I know...it's been awhile:) But I have more to post...so here it is:)

I hope you like it.

************************************************************************

Jason stalked the campus most of the night. He was getting tired of this little charade. Vampires were drawn here because of the Hellmouth and he had to seal it. This would be the eleventh Hellmouth he would close. Jason could also feel it would be his last. He was using the power sparingly, to be sure, but without a counter weight, he was lost.

There was no outlet for the buildup of dark magic in his soul. His time would soon be done, and he would reap bloody vengeance upon this town if critical mass was reached before his task was complete. He had to find a way to drain the Hellmouth, teleport away into the middle of nowhere and let the magic consume him. He sighed. “If only I had found her…” he said softly. Looking up, he smiled when he saw the three girls walking to the dorms…his expression hardened when he saw the five vampires stalking them. Jason grinned. “Never a dull moment in Sunnydale.” He muttered.

Tara was reveling in just holding onto Willow’s hand. She was lost in her own world and sighed contentedly when she felt Willow stiffen. “Baby?” she asked softly.

Willow didn’t turn to face Tara nor did she slow her pace. “Vamps…four or five…behind us…” she whispered. Tara saw Buffy smile broadly and peel away from them into a building. Tara knew she would be behind the attackers within moments.

“Spell?” Tara asked softly. Willow froze. She had a look of fear in her eyes and she was quivering.

Tara frowned. “Ok…sorry baby…I can protect us long enough for Buffy to stop them…I mean…it’s only five, right.” She smiled.

Willow tried to smile and felt for the Holy Water she had in her pocket. She closed her hand over the vial and nodded to Tara.

Tara nodded back and started to chant softly. Her hands started to glow as she felt the first vampire attack. Tara smiled as she felt the warmth of the protection spell fall over her and Willow. The vampire hit a field around the two and stopped. His face contorted in rage, he tried pressing his way in but it had no effect.

Tara turned to face Willow, here eyes still closed. “Sweetie?” she said softly.

Willow stared wide-eyed at Tara. “Uh…yeah?” she said in a squeak, the snarling and growling of the vampire two feet away starting to really distract her.

Tara smiled at the redhead. “Now would be a good time to use the Holy Water.” She said softly.

Willow smiled. “Oh...ok…yeah...duh, I mean. Here I am all scared and scatterbrained when my baby is holding back Mr. Toothy there. Nice spell, by the way. A shield spell?’ she asked cocking her head.

Tara smiled patiently. “Honey…the water.” She said to Willow.

Willow shook her head. “OH…sorry.” She said sheepishly, throwing the water onto the vampire, who hissed and smoked as he ran away, screaming in pain.

Tara smiled. “That’s my baby.” She said, strengthening the walls around them as she felt the Slayer move into action.

Buffy flew from the shadows as the vampire ran screaming from the wiccas. Buffy slammed the stake home and he turned to dust. Buffy never even broke stride. She waded into the group and fought them with all of her skill, but they managed to overpower her. Buffy kicked out and caught one of them in the gut, but he managed to grab her by the foot and drop her to the ground.

Willow screamed and tried to run to the slayer. Tara grabbed her arm. “Willow…wait…" she fished in her pocket and pulled her hand out."...here.” She pressed a small charm into Willows hand. The redhead felt the magic dance across her flesh and almost dropped the charm. She looked at Tara, who only smiled.

“White magic…protection.” She cupped Willow’s cheek and smiled. “I just got you back, I don’t want to lose you again.”

Willow smiled and ran out from beneath the shield, raising her stake, she plunged it into the back of the vampire holding Buffy down.

The demon roared in pain and spun to face the redhead, who staggered back.

“You missed the heart, kid…to bad for you.” He snarled, stalking towards Willow.

“And you let the Vampire Slayer up.” Buffy said, staking him from behind. “I swear…you guys get dumber and dumber every time I face you.” She smiled at Willow. “Thanks Wills…”

Willow smiled and nodded. “Yeah...well, you know. I’m bad. Not like, leather pants and corset bad, but I have been known to kick butt.” She smiled and bobbed. “There’s a vampire trying to sneak up behind you by the way.” She said, turning to skip back to Tara.

Buffy turned and smiled. “Thanks Will...” she said, attacking the vampire. She briefly wondered where the other two vamps had gotten off to, but figured they were the smart ones and ran.

Jason looked down into the frightened eyes of the vampires held in the dark tendrils he conjured. He smiled and squeezed a little, hearing bones pop and snap. “So…you want to take on the slayer?” he asked softly. Their eyes bled as they felt the tendrils squeeze harder. “Know this…. she and her friends are protected by me…harm them, and I will find you…and I can make your torment last longer than all of eternity.” He stared at them, letting a taste of his power flow into their minds.

After the silent scream subsided, fifteen minutes later, he released the vampires. “Now go…spread the word…. and remember.” He glared at them. “I can find you.”

Buffy walked with the two girls back to their dorm. “Well you two crazy kids…good night.” She said, turning to leave.

Tara turned to Buffy and smiled. “Good night Buffy…and thank you.” She said, taking Willow’s hand. “For everything.”

Buffy nodded. “I didn’t do anything you guys couldn’t have fixed yourselves.” She smiled. They really did fit together. Buffy sighed as the door closed and she headed down the stairs and into the cool, night air.

Jason stood by the tree and stared at the window. He could feel something…someone. It was pulling him, like a magnet. He sensed the miniscule dark power in the room as well and narrowed his eyes. Someone was toying with forces that no one should be playing with. The power level was nowhere near his own, but it was dark none the less. “Sleep well tonight, for tomorrow, we meet.” He said softly, flicking his wrist. Jason stepped from the shadow of the tree and walked into the dorm. Silently, a limp body fell from the tree and crumbled to ash after he left.

Finally got time to read this story.

Firstly, may I say that I like how your Buffy is more responsible and not as self-involved. She's happy Willow and Tara have reunited, as it should be.

Jason and his problem are most intriguing, as is Tara's destiny.

I just caught up with all these updates. It's a great story, I am curious to see if Jason is going to try to have Willow suck his darkness. And it was nice how Buffy gave the girls an excuse so Tara wouldn't go to the dorm.. it was very sweet of Buffy and I like the way she keeps saying, destiny :)

Small update

Postby Willowfan » Sat Aug 17, 2002 7:40 pm

Ok...I have written more...so here it is:)

A small and (hopefully) cute Willow/Tara moment.

Let me know;)

************************************************************************

Willow looked around the room nervously. There was one bed and all of her bravado at being fine walking Tara home was true, but it was a different story heading back to Buffy’s alone. So Tara had insisted that she stay. Willow bit her lip and tried to be ok with taking the floor. Tara was taking a shower and Willow wanted to be ready when the blonde got back. She looked down at the little bed she had made and frowned. It was missing something…she had a pillow, two actually and a thick quilt was folded over to be a makeshift mattress. The top blanket was laid neatly over the whole thing and still…there was something wrong. Willow frowned. “No Tara.” She said finally. But the hacker was determined not to push this.

She wanted to savor every moment of the time they had together. She wanted to go over every little step with a fine-toothed comb to make sure she wasn’t doing something wrong again. She wanted perfection…just like it was before. Willow sighed and knelt down on the make shift bed, scooting under the covers and awaited Tara’s return. It wasn’t long in coming.

Tara opened the door and smiled at the redhead curled on the floor. Willow was so sweet…she was being careful not to rush her into anything she wasn’t ready for. She smiled at the hacker. “Comfy?” Tara asked, scooting around the tiny lump.

Willow peeked her head out and her eyes brightened instantly. "Yep…all snug as a bug in a rug.” She grinned.

Tara smiled. “Good…I don’t want you to be uncomfortable…but I didn’t want you to be…you know...eaten either.” She grinned.

Willow nodded. “I’m all set.”

Tara turned off the light and climbed into her bed. She couldn’t get comfortable and finally sighed. “Willow.” She said softly. “Are you asleep?”

“No…what’s the matter?” came the quiet answer.

Tara turned on her side and faced the voice. “I can’t sleep…I miss my baby.” She said softly.

Willow stood so quickly she got tangled up in the blanket she had wrapped around herself in an effort to fight off her need to snuggle. She fought with the covers and they persisted in tightening their grip until she stood in the middle of the room, looking defeated and wrapped to her neck in a twisted blanket. She sighed.

Tara stifled her laugh and moved to the edge of the bed, gesturing for Willow to come closer.

Willow shuffled her feet rapidly and made a little headway to stand by the bed. She wobbled dangerously when she stopped and smiled down at Tara. “How do I get myself into these things?” she asked.

Tara only smiled patiently working on the tangles. Soon Willow was free and Tara scooted back into the bed.

“So…in the bed, huh?” Willow asked nervously. “Cause…I mean…if you aren’t comfortable, I can do the floor.” She said even as she was crawling under the covers.

Finally settled in, she laid stiff as a board, clutching the blankets tightly to her chin.

Tara reached over and wrapped her arm across Willow’s stomach and pulled herself against the hacker. She sighed contentedly and nuzzled her cheek into Willow’s shoulder. “I missed my Willow pillow.” She said softly.

Willow melted. “I missed Tarabear.” She replied, relaxing as every muscle in her body turned to jello. She laid her head atop Tara’s and gently stroked the blondes’ arm. “I missed you baby...I missed you so much.” She said as tears began to spill down her face.

Tara squeezed Willow tightly and nodded. “I am here now…and I’m not letting you go again.” She said with a determined air.

Willow broke apart. “I won’t give you a reason to…not again…not for magic or anything else…I hurt without you…I don’t want to hurt anymore…”

Tara began to cry as well. “The pain is over now, my Willow…my soul…” she said, sniffling. “We’re a part of each other again...we’re one again.”

The two of them laid in silence, holding onto each other and crying until sleep finally took them.
