Pipsqueak~ WoW. That was the greatest W/T video I've ever seen. You ROCK! I loved it. I really hope that you make some more Willow and Tara ones. Oh man, I NEED A TISSUE. That was a tear jerker, yet in a good way. All the happy moments. You ROCK! I know, I said that already, but I thought it would have more impact the second time around.

I am a sap and I love sappy songs set to w/t. That was excellent. I really love you slowing down the kisses and the neat effects with the fading in and out during the kiss. And very well timed within the song as well.



I'd love to see the high quality one, under what name should i search for it on grokster, or another way because i hate grokster. I'd be willing to host if for a while, not permanently but enough for people who are interested in it to get it. To answer your earlier question in the help thread, I think most people who host their own videos buy their own space.

Pipsqueak your video was amazing, it truly kept me mesmerized to the screen as the video was playing (by the way I already watched it 5 times). The choice of song was perfect, and I loved the moments you choose for this particular video. I truly loved how during the Entropy kiss (which was great slowed down), how you layered that with other beautiful/pivotal moments between W&T (ie the first time their hands interlocked in the laundry room, Tara blowing out the candle, and etc). I am really impressed, and would love to see any other video's you care to share with us in the future!

(i have a fav introspective, best characterization, fav song, best tara memorium, and most angsty already...heehee) like others, i loved how you captured small moments and slowed them down to make the most of the feelings expressed between the two girls...and how your interrupted the "entropy" kiss with the various fading in/out scenes. feel free to continue now pretty please? (after all, i still need a best action video, a fav scary one, etc) thank you for sharing this.

Thanks SO SO much for all the feedback! This is the fist vid I've ever really "advertised" anywhere and I was sorta nervous about it. So glad you guys liked it!



Good news: The high-quality version will be available tomorrow around this time. I had a "d'oh" moment - realized I could hijack my parents' largely-unused webspace, so as soon as the new user name is approved (it takes 24 hours), I'll upload it. Check the first post in this thread for the link. I'll also put a notice in the update thread. No traffic restrictions, as far as I know, so when it gets here, download away. By the way, Xita, thank you SO much for offering to host it for me!! That was really sweet of you. I appreciate it.



For those of you asking for more vids, yes I WILL make them ... the only question is when. Grad school sucks. I have an idea for a "happy" Tara tribute (set to "Happy Girl" by Martina McBride) but need to get more source material before making it. There is another W/T video on my web page; it's the one Caphricacorn mentioned, "Reasons Why". I'm really reluctant to advertise it here, though, because it's not a happy relationship vid. In fact, I'm not going to put a direct link to it here, just in case someone is skimming the text of posts looking for links (which, hey, I do it all the time!). If you're a definite diehard shipper you probably won't want to see it. Maybe not. I dunno. It's about the W/T breakup. If you want to know more, there's a description on the site.

I'm working on it. Try to download either/both of these small test files (it's just the first 4 seconds of the video) and see if you can hear the sound on either of them; if not, I may have to consider using a different audio codec. It could be a problem on my end, since VirtualDub doesn't seem to handle it very well on my machine. In any case, we'll figure it out eventually!

okay, you would not BELIEVE all the stuff I have learned about codecs in the last 3 hours. More than I ever wanted to know (ha). Turns out that DivX audio is a hack of Windows Media Audio, and a buggy one at that, which, hey -- news to me. So I'm going to switch to MP3 audio encoding, which is more widely used anyway. Try this out:

And please, DON'T feel bad for letting me know about the problem! I'm glad you both spoke up, 'cause chances are if you're getting an error, other people are too, and I want the vids to be accessible to as many people as possible.



If this test file works, I'll re-encode the video and upload the new version. If not, we'll keep trying.

Oh my.



There are few things that elicit a real and emotional reaction in me. This video, however, was one of them. Such a beautiful choice of song and the clips you put into the video were really quite amazing.



The fading in and out of the kiss was just impossibly beautiful; the use of slow motion in one of my favorite scenes; the spinning around from OMWF...just perfection itself.



I think this is one of the best videos I've seen that encompasses what is best about Willow and Tara's relationship; that being, each other. Thank you so much for this. Although it made me cry, it's a truly wonderful piece of creativity. Thanks.
