~On Moon Lit Night~

Riding on a horse

On a moon lit night

Holding you close

Keeping you warm

Love is in the air

Love is in our hearts

Galloping along

To our favorite spot

I know to night

Will be the night

To show you

All this love

I pull you close

Kiss your neck

Rubbing my hands

On your jean clad thighs

You ask me

"What are we doing?"

I smile and say

"It's a surprise"

Resting my head

On your shoulder

"Close your eyes"

I stop the horse

Climb down and help you

Leading you to my surprise

When we are there

I hug you from behind

"Open them" I say

What is it you see

A lantern and roses

laying on a blanket

You turn and kiss me

I grin but that is not it

Looking in your eyes

Seeing what I need

Taking you to the blanket

Handing you the roses

With red and a single white

You take the card

Reading it, not noticing

What I just did

I'm kneeling down

One foot on the ground

I take your hand

Looking in your eyes

You finish reading the card

You open your gorgeous lips

Then I wake up

It was a dream

But I know the answer

Because I can feel it

And it is all

Because the love

We share

Hey! I have another poem but i just wanted to drop off some cool news! My brother is a musician, and he is putting some of these poems to music! he's getting them recorded this weekend, so hopefully I'll have a copy...just thought that was cool...i'll post a poem later on...
